Simon Coles don't like it, pull it off. usually that's to reduce noise and make it look better. the one on my vw cc is just over the head. on the under side it sound proofing or whatever you want to call it. it literally pulls off in 5secs. some cars might be mounted on with a few screw's like my old gti but still could have it off in maybe 2mins. I prefer them on there with cars switching to direct injection
its there to reduce injector ticking noise with DI cars. especially americans complain about that noise, claiming it sounds like a diesel. i'd rather have it than not
It's been 4 years since I purchased my Civic. Originally coming from an Acura RSX, I naturally wanted an si coupe but was itching for extra space I had from a ford explorer I used to own. The hatchback seemed to meet the best of both worlds for me, so I got the sport hatch with the 1.5 turbo and 6 speed manual. I'm sitting around 68k miles and the car has had no reliability issues whatsoever. I have taken it on many multi-state trips over 1,000 miles each and the car eats it up no problem with decent economy. The car has only been to the tire shop and a mechanic once for brakes service. Other than that, just simple oil changes and tire rotations have done this car great. I'd also like to mention I installed a KTuner stage 2 tune on the car and it is now faster than an si with 220 hp and 260 lb/ft. Car still purrs along and takes it like it's nothing. I agree on the seats being a weak point on this car. The lack of lumbar and the rough-feeling cloth don't really help on longer trips, but it doesn't dig in too much to the driving experience as it rides well over 95% of bumps with the 18" wheels. This car is a beast for what you pay for, though. Throw some stickier tires and a tune on it and it's essentially my own "si hatch" with around 220 hp and 260 lb/ft. Has very good road mannerisms at any speed. Fastest I've been yet is 147mph on a closed track, but definitely could hit around 160 if given enough straightaway space. If you add the CTR rear sway bar and an aftermarket front strut tower bar it'll handle near perfect for most people. If anyone is in the market for a 10th gen civic hatchback, get one. 11/10 best car I've owned to date and would probably buy again.
You know, if they were coming out with an Si hatch, I would have waited for that, it's the car I really wanted. For what it is though, the Civic Sport hatch in manual is a great package.
Hey Matt - as a guy who likes to both drive cars fast and ride bikes fast on backroads like these, thanks for being an understanding guy when it comes to cyclists. Road cyclists are actually pretty similar to car enthusiasts; we love going as fast as possible and pushing limits on winding, fast roads. Cheers!
Why is everyone acting as if this is supposed to be a "hot hatchback". This is just an economy car. They aren't gonna sound great or be that fast. Judge it as a sports car when the si and the type r come out.
Pr0ximaCentauri yeah it'll be the same 1.5 turbo just tuned for more power. Everyone was assuming it'd be the 2.0 turbo with less power. I heard no hatch model for the SI though which I think is a let down.
Because people are idiots. It should be faster than a GTR, sound like a Ferrari, but only cost $10k brand new Never mind that keyboard warriors who want these things probably can't afford a new car
As a cyclist, and a car guy, I gotta say that I very much appreciate the way that you share the road with cyclists. We all love to go out and play in the canyons and it's great when drivers respect our space. Thx Matt!
I really like the reviews of new consumer cars vs new super cars. I feel like they fit the canyons better and are more informative to your audience Matt. Good video!
I agree cars like the miata, BRZ, GTI, Cayman, M2, etc are actually better on twisty public roads. You just can't push today's super high end cars on public roads, they are just to damn capable.
Thats what I like about the VW and Honda turbo engines, that they make more of their power on top rather than giving it to you all at once then die out at redline. I'm the type who likes a progressive powerband, and thats still achievable with forced induction.
Lol if a 1991-95 Civic EG doing Low 8s to high 7s is not fast then i don't know what is , Biggest Disadvantage in Motorsport is a Car that is Fwd, Followed by Awd in drag racing , Sub 200+whp n/a doing a 12 second pass to me is considered pretty quick an Most people who do Drag racing civic builds are not Kids, Cheap easy an fun I quite like Civics infact im looking to buy a Ek9 currently,
You're talking about cars with 3-5x the power and less weight than stock. I think Eric might have been referring to the 100hp cars with fart cans and stickers on them.
Lol.. How is a eg/ek 3-5 the power i mentioned 200whp? B16A is 165bhp in a EG an 195bhp in a Ek? Stock, 200hp@wheels is not 3-5x the power ;) 165bhp is 130-140fwhp 195bhp is 150-165fwhp ? so adding 40-70whp is 3-5x? I wasn't talking about D15/D16 Civics, Actual JDM model cars,
A BOV, some basic bolt-ons, exhaust and tune would make this car a really fun and inexpensive daily driver. I would buy. 22K is a steal for a car with such potential.
Mario Martinez focus at and this car aren’t proper comparison, doesn’t make sense for you to say that but these cars with a tune and bolt ons would keep up or pass up a st so don’t be so sure
I really think not offering the Si in this hatchback configuration is a mistake. I'm probably not going to be able to afford the Type-R, but I want more than the base hatch offers as far as performance.
For a cheap economy car it's pretty impressive. Good suspension design, decent power and handling, good price. I'm sure with a tune you should be able to see around 215 HP which would really wake it up especially with some upgraded brake pads and tires.
Sometimes I forget how good Matt is at talking eloquently and in an informative, yet entertaining way. I think this is because he does mostly one takes these days. But seriously Matt, you are really entertaining and very well spoken person. It's kinda refreshing hearing you talk in "review" mode sometimes haha.
Matt, thanks for this review! It helped me make my decision on getting this car, 2019 model. I love it especially after I added K&N intake and Ktunner tune. It’s easy power for not too much money. Dynoed it 200hp to wheels now with 220 LB/Ft of torque. I did upgrade the brakes because they are not adequate after power add. I will upgrade tires next, I agree with your comment on the stock tires.
so your saying put a bigger muffler on? that would only make it quieter. I think you ment deleting the muffler but wtf would you even put a dollar of mods into this plastic junk
I drove the CVT version at the LA Auto Show. Granted I was let down because of it being automatic, but was pretty shocked at how quick it was once full boost hit. I mean, all you really need to do is do some coilovers, performance tires, short throw shifter, and lighter flywheel to make it a much more fun daily driver than what is offered already. A tune, CAI, and exhaust as well to let it breathe more and gain a bit more power, too.
Don't bemoan the lack of leather with the manual transmission. In my view leather is unnecessary, is less sporting (you slide in the seat), is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. If I could have every car in my future without leather I would prefer it that way, unfortunately most manufacturers assume higher priced cars must have leather or faux leather seating.
Logλn L I don't know about that. My friend has one and it doesn't feel anywhere near as powerful as another friend's MK7 GTI, which puts about 210hp to the wheels stock. Definitely felt like more than a 20hp difference and the civic has the advantage in weight.
Matt Parise vtec.net - The Temple of VTEC - Honda and Acura Enthusiasts Online - Articles - 1/4 mile time: Dyno Test: 2017 Honda Civic Sport 6MT I think the way the car is tuned, the turbo spools a bit slower than it could for a smoother and easier to manage power delivery. Matt Parise the gti makes 250 hp 270 tq at the wheels... vw underrates like crazy. No contests here. Also if you friend drives a dsg it bounds to have better acceleration and less drive train loss than a darn CVT. I really wanna get a gti but I'm too afraid of the countless reliability issues. Might get a brz instead.
I have one of these after having an FR-S for 3 years and I must say the turbo makes a huge difference in power despite the power figures they claim. Aside from it not being RWD it's a really fun hatch
@Sergio Aguirre You pay a high tax rate in the Netherlands. That's what Socialism does to a country tax tax tax, fees, fees, fees. and on and on! Petrol expensive!
I'm reminded watching this of my 1988 Honda Accord DX coupe. 5-speed, only 98 horsepower, but *lots* of fun to drive. It was probably also smaller than this Civic, given how cars have expanded. Looks like this would be a fun little car for not a lot of money. Thanks, Matt.
The cyclist "didn't really need to do that" (take the whole lane when it wasn't safe for you to pass). How the hell are they supposed to know that you're a conscientious driver? They're exposed on a 20-something pound bicycle while you're in a 2,800 pound car revving the sh!t out of it as you come up behind them. Give them a break dude. They have a right to use the road too...
He did "give them a break", he always slows down and keeps a good distance until he can safely pass....his words inside the car do not affect the cyclist
Share the road, there is room for everyone. While driving, just be patient and only pass when safe to do so. We all pay taxes. Cycling on any roads isn't "safe" especially with people txting. Just be considerate and note that is a life on the bike. He was probably travelling the speed limit.
What do you want at that price point??? Clown is comparing that to cars that are more expensive and race oriented. Its a peppy commuter Costco car and should be treated as such. In fact if you buy one with the Costco discount you can get them in 2020 for 21,000.
schnizdawg if "selling out" is an enthusiastic ad that takes less than a minute and it affords him the money to keep doing this for a living, then I don't know why that's a bad thing. It's not as if skin care products are going to shape his opinion on a civic or some shit. Besides, he's been doing ad reads on the podcast since the beginning, does that mean the podcast is a sellout platform, too? People gotta make money somehow. UA-cam makes that more and more difficult every time they change something, so who gives a shit if Matt reads an ad? Come the fuck on now.
schnizdawg the term selling out is always so ignorant. You got a job? Sellout! You ever work over time? Sellout! You ever get promoted! Major fucking sellout! If you make money, you're a sellout.
i bought the sport hatchback and i love the car...for 21k you can not beat it....amazing car actually..only got 2000 miles on it but it is a blast to drive
I really think Honda should've given this car (Hatchback Sport) the Si's numbers (205hp/192lb/tq) Given the Si more like the Focus ST's numbers (220-230hp/240-250lb/tq) and then you have the 300 HP Type-R, as is! - I think with all those cars Honda would be WAY more competitive in each of those respected segments!
Matt thanks for this channel. Really enjoy the one takes no matter the car. Had to quit smoking weed til I find a new job and these car channels help get my mind off wake n bake lol
$22k... I paid $21,500 before TTL for a 2017 GTI S, I feel like the Civic isn't that great of a value anymore. You won't be getting a manual sport for under MSRP at least around here if you can even find one.
Adonis Sana not right now. there's no real incentives and these are in limited supply right now so you won't see any going out the door for less than msrp.
for me, this car is rendered useless by the Volkswagen GTI. For $24,000 you could have a base GTI which weighs the same as this car but has substantially more power. Also, the cloth seats on the base GTI are great, and the overall interior of the GTI is miles ahead of the civic in terms of refinement.
werner naegeli not really reliability issues even on gti's with low mileage is common. There leases suck too. My buddy had his gti a 2016 for 6 months and had it at dealer pretty often lucky for him he was under warranty and had the repairs done but he was pissed because the jobs were taking a few days at a time to get done.
Funny that he says it's a good first car for a new manual driver to get. My girlfriend just bought one of these and it's been good for her to learn on, it's got hill assist and the clutch is very light. And I really love driving her car haha.
Exactly. Its would be fun basic transportation. If you buy this car thinking your going to rack up kills then your sadly mistaken. Its a 7 sec almost 16 sec 1/4 mile car. By todays standards thats not fast. Honda will still sell a shit load of these thinks though.
Base elantra gt sport is 23k sticker (so you'll pay far less). Manual, leather, heated seats, apple car play and android auto, incredible exhaust, 201hp, 195 lbft. Best bargain in this segment. But I do love this civics color.
Mitchell Hallmark bc automatic transmissions cost more to produce and are "luxury" items in cars. While manuals are the cheaper transmission, they are also the go to transmission for sporty driving
The thing that makes me the happiest about this car is that Honda is still committed to offering a true manual transmission car combined with the fact that people are still excited for it and seek them that way.
Matt Parise Manual transmission sales do not make up the majority of sales and they haven't for a long time. The vast majority of people buying these cars don't want it. Being committed to me simply meaning they aren't going 100% cvt GARBAGE like they could easily do and not see a drop in sales at all. The fact that it exists at this point is surprising and good, Imo. I've only owned MT Hondas for the last 20 years including a somewhat hard to find 07 Element SC and believe me, nobody wanted that thing but me. Lol.
This is kind of a neat trim. Nothing too spectacular. But a nice daily driver with a little more speed than most things on the road, and a decent manual transmission.
I saw this exact car in a dealer lot a few months ago and fell in love with the design. In person this car in this trim and color are really attractive. I hate how Honda seems to get so close to a great car and stops just short though. I agree not offering this trim and transmission with leather is a mistake and hate that the v6 accord sedan does not come with a manual. They are so close with both those cars but are holding out on us for some point. Also hondata has already released a flashpro for this car.
Firmly tip my hat to you sir for explaining accurately what the cyclist did and why he did it - thank you! Lots of petrol heads watching this, including me. And I also cycle. And, I do exactly the same as that cyclist did on that corner to save getting squeezed into ditches (or worse) by close passes. Anyway - great review, thanks!
That's what I was thinking, as well. Ugh is right. Was considering this vehicle as the replacement for my well-aged '01 Integra GS-R.... Thought that 180hp would be good enough for modest fast driving, too.
I've been passed wrecklessly with little clearance so many times in blind corners. A couple of those times I've been driven into the embankment. As someone who enjoys both motor sports and pedal power, it is great to see a reviewer showing courtesy to cyclists. However, I would really appreciate a more positive commentary on why the cyclist is behaving the way he is. He did yield out of the shoulder as soon as he felt safe. A lot of drivers don't understand the antipathy and aggression a lot of cyclists face--even enthusiasts. I'm not trying to be judgmental, but the smoking tire is in a position that they could help educate both drivers and cyclists on best etiquette and understanding of how to interact.
I love nothing more than a lightweight vehicle. The car doesn't have to be fast, just chuck-able. Really disappointed that we only get the Civic with a silly CVT here in New Zealand!
Just bought the 2018 sport touring and my biggest annoyance was the fact that they don't offer a car starter with the manual transmission. Up here in Canada, car starters are a must! Too bad because I test drove the manual and loved it!!
God this car is fucking disgusting. Look at the back with those fake grilles. Why does Honda force these ugly looking chassis? Except the S2000 and the new NSX I cannot mention any good looking Hondas from the last 10-20 years.
LOL, silly ass punk... What's so manly about that Civic? Looks like a Transformer toy, not something a grown up would want to drive. VW for me, hands down.
you can get a Flashpro and gain 35 lb-ft of torque and 25 hp from that alone. Even in the cvt version. cvt handles it very well from the research iv done. I plan to do it to my sport touring civic hatch. You will get even more power with intakes and down pipes. )0-60 drops to 5.7-6.2 depending how far you want to mod it. i imagine 6.2 would be the tune alone and 5.7 with all the bolt ons. That's not bad for a 1.5 Turbo. That would about equal the WRX CVT
I've noticed the heavy flywheel on my 2012 Civic Si as well. I have to blip the throttle a little harder when I go to rev match. It's a little different than what I was used to before I bought this.
Small world. @TheSmokingTire, I'm driving the same press car #3421 right now. I'll have my video up in the coming weeks. Did you figure out how to fully disable traction control? Even with VSA off, traction control is still on.
I love that Honda doesn't put stupid giant plastic engine covers on their cars.
Simon Coles you should see the cover on my 911. You can't see any engine at all.
Simon Coles Lexus is the worst. Even the fluids are covered with a plastic sheet

its there to reduce injector ticking noise with DI cars. especially americans complain about that noise, claiming it sounds like a diesel. i'd rather have it than not

0to60videos the hatch is so much better. when was the last time they ever made a civic wagon? they don't sell
Andrius Fink they make Civic wagons
Move to Europe. You can still get it with the old 1,8 N/a engine...
I have one of these after having an FR-S for 3 years and I must say the turbo makes a huge difference in power despite the power figures they claim. Aside from it not being RWD it's a really fun hatch
USA: $22.000 , The Netherlands: €36.140 - We pay 21% tax and on top of that a lot of other charges....
@Sergio Aguirre You pay a high tax rate in the Netherlands. That's what Socialism does to a country tax tax tax, fees, fees, fees. and on and on! Petrol expensive!
Love hondas. Have a 2004 Si and I've been revving her like crazy everyday for 2 years and she never has a problem. Great for the canyons
My grand mother has the same color...... On her prosthetic leg...
It matches with your personality ! Never mind this grey is more superior than that =))))
Yuppers. Bobby Bass nailed it.
I about spit out my drink! Thats some funny shit!
Finally a real review of the civic from a driver and not a car dealer
Cloth seat master race.
better luck next time
2800 pounds out of a modern car with all the safety standards now! I am pretty impressed for how big I thought this car was at the auto show.
thank god , finally a rear wiper.
They have a right to use the road too...
jnichols959 maybe don't ride a 20 pound bicycle on a small road on the side of a mountain with no bike lanes or sidewalks
jnichols959 I think if you're out on a bicycle on those kind of roads, you got a death wish. Seriously, way too much faith in people in vehicles.
He did "give them a break", he always slows down and keeps a good distance until he can safely pass....his words inside the car do not affect the cyclist
+jnichols959 u a bitch
Share the road, there is room for everyone. While driving, just be patient and only pass when safe to do so. We all pay taxes. Cycling on any roads isn't "safe" especially with people txting. Just be considerate and note that is a life on the bike. He was probably travelling the speed limit.
one of the only one takes I will watch without skipping
the fully loaded civic comes with a stick for 2020!! :-)
What do you want at that price point??? Clown is comparing that to cars that are more expensive and race oriented. Its a peppy commuter Costco car and should be treated as such. In fact if you buy one with the Costco discount you can get them in 2020 for 21,000.
Matt was so excited to drive this car. This was one of most entertaining TST episodes i've ever seen.
Wtf. How did you get involved with promoting alpha m?😂
Haha. I was just thinking the same. He's selling out more and more slowly. Oh well.
This channel will soon be a big commercial so Matt can make more cash for more cars.
dude stop complaining, the guy needs to make money somehow - plus it's not even intrusive, skip it if you want to..
schnizdawg if "selling out" is an enthusiastic ad that takes less than a minute and it affords him the money to keep doing this for a living, then I don't know why that's a bad thing.
It rained last night and I found a snail on the ground that was much larger than the MHI TD03 turbo found in these Honda's.
SDD525 Absolutely nothing, simply a joke.
SDD525 true
Im sure the mini cooper turbo is smaller
and twice the torque as the brz XD (I own a brz so I'm allowed to talk shit)
If u don’t like it come off the comments u muppet
I really think Honda should've given this car (Hatchback Sport) the Si's numbers (205hp/192lb/tq) Given the Si more like the Focus ST's numbers (220-230hp/240-250lb/tq) and then you have the 300 HP Type-R, as is! - I think with all those cars Honda would be WAY more competitive in each of those respected segments!
Looks like Honda put on weight after high school
Matt thanks for this channel. Really enjoy the one takes no matter the car. Had to quit smoking weed til I find a new job and these car channels help get my mind off wake n bake lol
Thank you for giving the cyclist space on the road. Great review!
I fucking love that you keep doing new-car reviews. Never was a huge fan of the modified-to-hell one-off cars. Keep it up!
I wonder how this cars performance compares to the veloster turbo.
I want to know how it compares to the new Elantra GT Sport that has the same engine as Veloster Turbo.
It would be an interesting comparison. I used to have a veloster and although it has 200 hp it didn't feel like it at all.
I bet the Elantra GT Sport and the civic Si will be pretty close to each other.
I test drove the veloster turbo prior to buying this Civic hatch in Sport manual, The Honda feels much, much better in terms of sporty driving.
FlyinGato which engine felt like it had more power? I know on paper the Hyundai had more but when I owned mine it seemed underwhelming.
Dude, not only are you a good host, you also do great pitches :)
$22k... I paid $21,500 before TTL for a 2017 GTI S, I feel like the Civic isn't that great of a value anymore. You won't be getting a manual sport for under MSRP at least around here if you can even find one.
No doubt a base GTI is more fun for the money.
xpinchx Uhhmm just looked them up and they cost $25,595 for the base GTI S
Adonis Sana you can get way under msrp, i did with minimal haggling
Well then you should be able to get a civic for $19,000.
Adonis Sana not right now. there's no real incentives and these are in limited supply right now so you won't see any going out the door for less than msrp.
He explained my reasoning for buying a manual Honda right there. Easiest cars to learn manual on
for me, this car is rendered useless by the Volkswagen GTI. For $24,000 you could have a base GTI which weighs the same as this car but has substantially more power. Also, the cloth seats on the base GTI are great, and the overall interior of the GTI is miles ahead of the civic in terms of refinement.
werner naegeli reliability
If you're buying the car new or leasing reliability shouldn't be a big issue, at least not until the mileage starts getting up there.
werner naegeli not really reliability issues even on gti's with low mileage is common. There leases suck too. My buddy had his gti a 2016 for 6 months and had it at dealer pretty often lucky for him he was under warranty and had the repairs done but he was pissed because the jobs were taking a few days at a time to get done.
Even hyundai has better reliability than Volkswagen. TDI or nothing. Direct injection Volkswagen is asking for problems
Funny that he says it's a good first car for a new manual driver to get. My girlfriend just bought one of these and it's been good for her to learn on, it's got hill assist and the clutch is very light. And I really love driving her car haha.
As a daily driver I'd buy this. But I wouldn't expect anything more from it.
Exactly. Its would be fun basic transportation. If you buy this car thinking your going to rack up kills then your sadly mistaken. Its a 7 sec almost 16 sec 1/4 mile car. By todays standards thats not fast. Honda will still sell a shit load of these thinks though.
I am so jealous of the great roads you have in your region.
When you going to start advertising essential oils? Lol
Great review! And as a cyclist myself thanks for the understanding. It can get pretty dangerous on roads like that!
Video starts at 0:55
Base elantra gt sport is 23k sticker (so you'll pay far less). Manual, leather, heated seats, apple car play and android auto, incredible exhaust, 201hp, 195 lbft. Best bargain in this segment. But I do love this civics color.
I don't get why car companies restrict manual gearbox's to the base models. Especially in cars they advertise as sporty
Mitchell Hallmark bc automatic transmissions cost more to produce and are "luxury" items in cars. While manuals are the cheaper transmission, they are also the go to transmission for sporty driving
They don't. Ford has the base model of the Focus Sedan SE in a manual.
It isn't an Si or Type R. It is a basic street model, so I am impressed. I can't wait for an Si or Type R. I will keep my 2008 Si coupe for now.
That dude on the bike was pulling on you ! :-p
The shifter in the 2018 as been redesigned and completely different than the cheap 2017 shifter
I like the car. If your buying it for excitement wait for the upcoming SI and Type R. For just a daily runabout it's perfect.
The thing that makes me the happiest about this car is that Honda is still committed to offering a true manual transmission car combined with the fact that people are still excited for it and seek them that way.
GarageCivic They aren't committed though. You can't get a manual in the higher trims.
Lol.
Infiniti FX35 coming soon?
This is kind of a neat trim. Nothing too spectacular. But a nice daily driver with a little more speed than most things on the road, and a decent manual transmission.
Overstyled the crap out of this car - it's soooooooo ugly
true dat, all the new Hondas are fugly
the front is okay though
Yeah, the Si is going to end up looking better than the type R. I think they didn't pull off the hatchback very well.
Yeah the back end of the new civics is so fat the hatchback doesn't even look different
Andrew D. Royappa like your picture you bum 😂😂😂
Love your reviews, others dwell on ac vents and vanity mirrors, you focus on the important stuff.
The rear looks like it came from a Transformers movie.
I love the color. I wish it looked more like a hatch than a sedan tho.
The Adventure Mazda I love the 90s lift back look. It is so different than every other hatch out there.
Ugh, the engine sounds horrible...
Mgoblagulkablong sounds like a typical civic with a stock exhaust. This is a "sporty" car it's not meant to sound good.
That's what I was thinking, as well. Ugh is right. Was considering this vehicle as the replacement for my well-aged '01 Integra GS-R.... Thought that 180hp would be good enough for modest fast driving, too.
YasumotoUS How much for your gsr? I'll buy it cash if its nice and you're located near NYC metro.
If they add a cat back or freeflow it would sound much better.
+Viewing yeah it won't be easy but you can find a good catback for these cars
My wife has a black Civic Hatchback and gets multiple compliments on it almost every day. So haters can hate lol.
Bring back sweaty balls talc powder!!!
I'm not trying to be judgmental, but the smoking tire is in a position that they could help educate both drivers and cyclists on best etiquette and understanding of how to interact.
socksgratecheese he had the chance to be a perfect human being but he failed us all
Great color, body ugly. S2000 Honda days long gone
Matt says he has my skin covered, I be like "dude buy me a drink or something first at least" lol!
Lol that ain't a hatch. That's a wagon and a hatch smushed together.
I love nothing more than a lightweight vehicle. The car doesn't have to be fast, just chuck-able. Really disappointed that we only get the Civic with a silly CVT here in New Zealand!
1:00 of you don't have ashy elbows
Contrary to the prevailing opinion, I like the styling of the current Civics. Definitely much better than the previous generation.
f the leather it get very hot when its hot and very cold when its cold
@Granny Gertrude what im saying is its not practical and good for rugged people.
Just bought the 2018 sport touring and my biggest annoyance was the fact that they don't offer a car starter with the manual transmission. Up here in Canada, car starters are a must! Too bad because I test drove the manual and loved it!!
that cyclist was hauling ass tho haha
I have one of these! The design seems pretty polarizing but I love it.
I also manage about 28mpg city and 44 on the highway.
Its huge and ugly
Spergetti Neetballz it does make the older ones look better though.
Spergetti Neetballz that's what she said 😂
Spergetti Neetballz It is much smaller in real life than I expected. Still looks huge compared to the 8th and 9th gens though.
And heavy.
idontcare80 he said it weighs 2,800lb
I still hate how the sedans look, but the taillights finally make sense on the hatch. To each his own.
God this car is fucking disgusting. Look at the back with those fake grilles. Why does Honda force these ugly looking chassis? Except the S2000 and the new NSX I cannot mention any good looking Hondas from the last 10-20 years.
Kordovaner Balint 3G Acura TL are the last best looking cars from the Honda
Yeah, not a fan of the new design language. Too many creases and jags for my taste. I prefer the understated look of the Golfs and Jettas right now.
LOL, silly ass punk... What's so manly about that Civic? Looks like a Transformer toy, not something a grown up would want to drive. VW for me, hands down.
TrollBuster I hate VW, rather BMW. But everyone has different taste
AOMechMarine AOMechMarine How old are you? 15?
you can get a Flashpro and gain 35 lb-ft of torque and 25 hp from that alone.
Fuck its so ugly...when you get to the rear of the car...it just looks like a prius
I've noticed the heavy flywheel on my 2012 Civic Si as well. I have to blip the throttle a little harder when I go to rev match. It's a little different than what I was used to before I bought this.
LOL, the civic is getting uglier and uglier... WTF honda!
Same guy must design the Subarus too
Small world. @TheSmokingTire, I'm driving the same press car #3421 right now. I'll have my video up in the coming weeks. Did you figure out how to fully disable traction control? Even with VSA off, traction control is still on.
