Right on. But the grunge garbage and record companies and radio refused to acknowledge him and many others. They gave us john mayer the coked out poser and grunge for ten years.
Saw this legend at Brian's Guitars in New Haven (right before Plaid came out, I think). My buddy and I were so stoked for the clinic. He came out with his HUGE hair, and I (even as a drummer) was just in awe. Still prob my favorite guitarist. He's got that style like EVH, Nuno, Vito,... just flows and is one with the instrument. His choice of notes and licks complement the theme rather than detract. Can't say enough about his playing. Love.
What a vibrato. Now years later i realize it's is the ability to move around smoothly, which is key.fast, slow, even with simple classical pieces, or christmas hymns
I have heard you refer to your 3 solo guitar albums as your high school days. Nice to see you at the reunion. You've still got the fire, the swing, the melodic sense and the phrasing. I loved it then and I love it now.
a style and sound that's unmistakable, still killing it. damn i'm getting old, had his first record released when he was 17, worth a listen if you haven't heard it.
Wow!!!! What can be said about Blues Saraceno that hasn't already been said? Maestro? Out of this world? Chief? Genius? I don't know, I just know that nobody will ever sound or play like him. Blues Saraceno Fucking Rock! Period.
This guy... What can I say about Blues that hasn't been said before??? He´s always belong to my top 5 favorite guitars players in the whole world. just fantastic!
Why oh why does he do not do another solo album. I am so into his playing, his albums are just amazing. Take a bit of time Blues, please. Not for the money, but for us the die hard fans. Love ya man. Chris
If you made a playlist of all the stuff he's done on TV, you'd have your album. The problem with dedicated albums is nobody is ever happy with all the tracks.
@@9unslin9er the problem is who is gonna buy it, instrumental has become such a niche, even more so than in the 90s. It has been done back and forth, and the competition is overwhelming these days. He would be better off writing music for shows or osts that center around his style.
Damn! The only reason I looked Blues up, is because someone was selling one of his signature guitars, and I hadn’t heard him in a couple of decades....A little heavier, gray and without the hair, but still plays cool af!👍
@@guitarwayneo Cool, me too. I saw them play in a parking lot in Alamogordo NM as part of some sort of Ernie Ball promotional tour, got to chat with him and he signed my copies of his solo cds, the band just killed it.
OMG this dude ROCK! he is so full of energy and great player! but this public sucks! what was that? everybody looks like they are on funeral. Anyway i would love to see him live playing! :)
I think the need for public to go wild to enjoy rock music is one of biggest misconceptions of all time. Also, it's a trade show, not a concert, right?
Fuck, ive seen tons of videos like this of dudes playing guitar, nad this might be no diferent, but you inspired me more that the others, my passion for guitar has been a little week lately, but ill go on, just to play as good as you. And sound as good as that
This must be from that time a few years ago when we were teased with the reissue of MusicMan amps, that just came and quickly disappeared again with zero explanation or reason. Still bitter about that. 😑
I love this man
A very underrated guitarist but he's a monster in guitar
Blues Saraceno is one of the best guitar player of his generation ,the first 3 albums are simply monstrous and nothing of envy to Satriani and Vai !!!
Right on. But the grunge garbage and record companies and radio refused to acknowledge him and many others. They gave us john mayer the coked out poser and grunge for ten years.
@@CrazyCooter-ld6sz that mayer guy is really boring.
The dude changed my life when he burst onto the scene. My vibrato and flatted 5ths are still BOB!!!!! (Based On Blues)
Man....smoking. Loved that guys 90’s output. He needs to do another solo album...
one of the best musicians on the planet!
Agree !
He is such a great guitarist!
I agree !
All of the Dark/Country Blues material he has been putting out is brilliant. He's a monster player for sure.
Still got the tone 😍
Blues Saracen is so underrated
Very
Dimebag was a big fan of Blues.
Every note is articulated.
Would love to see Saraceno and Kotzen team up for a project
💯

Great player to bad he hasn’t got the recognition he deserves
Perfect and natural. Nothing forced.
Right!
Blues still rocking. I remember when he was part of that early eighties class of shredders! Looks like he didn't let his chops slide!
Always was a killer killer guitar player. Mr. Saraceno has got the magic. Would love to see him and hear him trade licks with Satriani and Vai.
Yo creo que Saraceno ha sido injustamente sub valorado!, es un crack!
What a vibrato. Now years later i realize it's is the ability to move around smoothly, which is key.fast, slow, even with simple classical pieces, or christmas hymns
I've always loved his playing, Blues doesn't create a groove. He creates a ditch.
Blues Saraceno is the real deal .. His EP Wicked Gonna Come has been on my playlist for the last couple of days...🔥🔥🔥
Just saw this! Damn!!!
One of my all-time favorite guitarists ever!!! He has done million things since his early days...such a prolific resume!! Go Blues 🤘🏼!!!
He’s got chops, for sure. But, more importantly, he grooves. Has great timing 👍
Agree !
Haven’t heard from this guy in ages. Still have his Blue Voodoo full stack
The Crate?
Loved his "Never Look Back," "Plaid," and "Hairpick" solo albums back in the day. Wish he'd record another.
Agree ! Those are awesome albums !
Да, ядрена мать! Он крут!
He has made a bunch of records over the years.
That is some of the best picking I've ever heard from Blues! Airtight great timing, the whole ball of wax man!
I mean, the man’s a fucking monster. Love it.
Very tight rhythm playing. As always, Blues rocks so hard.

Just fantastic!
At a time of grunge he was like the new type of shredder
There is no one better than Blues!
Haven't lost a step since last time I saw him! Killer!
Hope we can see more of blues..just awesome tone n playing. I read somewhere even dimebag talked highly of blues playing
Love this guy!
Legend 🔥
This dude was in Poison once 😮
Yes he was ! "Crack a smile" has a bunch of great guitar all over it !
And was in Cream once😮😮
Remember when & Before the storm
This guy’s awesome
Blues!!! Sounds good as ever

Look up the biggest band in the world - down by the river that's where is new music is coming from these days.
I saw him at a guitar clinic in the 90's right after his album Plaid came out

Awesome stuff!
Oh yeah! Tone and originality as always!
Savage vibrato.

I would love to hear blues give a nice interview about his time in poison, and perhaps stories about the recording of crack a smile.
*He is alive !* 🤘🏻
I saw him play guitar for cream in a club in Philly as a kid ,a long time ago
Yes. Still good as ever!
Great attitude, totally into it.
Hair pick is awesome. He is a guitar legend!
A classic in action...cool!

Always loved his tone, phrasing, and vibrato !
Wow 🤯
still soo siiick
Bad ass
WOW
Great tone, but then again I would’ve expected that from this guy. Very cool
Vai needs to invite this guy to do a G3……
not bashing tho i hope he invites a distortion pedal also because might aswell use a spanish guitar

So good. Also check out his short lived band Transmission OK.
I got it when it came out. Lots of great phrasing and solo's !

It's weird to see Blues without his big crazy hair from the 80's/90's. I would love to have that hair!
I've never been a huge fan of guitar....but hoooooly smokies 🔥
Technique baby!!
I saw him in the 80's at a guitar clinic when he had long black hair and he was an up and comer.
Any covers of Blues covering "Crossroads" with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker from '92 or '93 on #UA-cam? Couldn't find any.
This is the only video i've found of them. Lots of great guitar, but no crossroads. ua-cam.com/video/aJe-jXNreik/v-deo.htmlsi=6X7eKsRXKmrWxwmD
1:49 dude ...down in front
FUCK YES! Get down with y0 bad self, son!
Well Done 😁
En la canción de poison cover of the rolling stone es magistral lo que hace

Hard to believe he's getting old. Glad to see he is still playing great
why would he be the only human not to age? hard to believe thats hard to believe...
Sorry, what Sony he is playing???
Thanks!!!
I think it may be a Walkman, or maybe a Betamax.
what kind of electric guitar does he have?
It's an Ernie Ball Sabre
What model guitar is this?
I believe it's a Ernie Ball Music Man "Sabre".
Whats the axe he's playing?
I believe it's a Ernie Ball Music Man "Sabre".
1:38 sounds like full tank
does he sing or does someone else do his vocals?
Blues sings on some of his songs, but mainly a guitar player !
And THIS guy had to learn and play Poison songs at one point…
He did record an album with Poison too. It's the only Poison music I own !

amazing!
Such a unique bending style. Can't figure it out for the life of me in my playing.
