Before you comment about how his tone sucks go listen to any of his recordings. This guy is a tone god and knows his shit. Listen to how that thing screams at you (2:09) are you kidding me? Buncha tone snobs on here but cant play a lick to save their lives
About the tone...for god sake we are talking about the ultimate tone guy. Go and listen to Plaid and Hair Pick. Two albums = A huge lick library. MASTER!

Why don't he just play his first 3 albums during his younger years.. This one is BOOOORRRIIINGGG!!! Come on blues.. go back to your roots where people started liking your style.
Wow, my comments were 8 months ago. Your point is valid, and I was just expressing my opinion as it relates to the type of guitar tone I like, after which some idiot accused me of bad-mouthing Blues Sareceno (never happened), and telling me that I'm not a good guitar player (how the hell would HE know??!). I met Blues in late 1991 or early '92 (he was 18 and I was 23), and I was very impressed...
@@theimpiam3697 Hi. I kind of just stumbled upon Mr Saraceno's music this weekend and he's terrific, I don't know how it's possible I haven't heard him before. I tried to find some more information but there's very little. E.g. is Blues Saraceno his real name? Do you know where I could read about him? Just curious.
@lotitto Mi pana qué arrecho este video y qué fino que pudiste ver al Saraceno en vivo, este tipo es un guitarrista sólido como pocos. Jeje reconocí el acento por el "tas grabandito? sí va!" del principio. Saludos y Rock On!
@aektzis91 I've been playing guitar for 26 years. I KNOW all about Tone. I love Mojave amps, they are awesome. Those Dirty Boy pedals sound like absolute dog crap...
Saludos!
I respect your spunk, etc but I respectfully wannna to say that fuzz boxes in general sound "retro chessy" and its just another color on the pallet of the sonic artist. The tones he is using there are 60's retro tones and believe me they dont sound like shit. The hand camera used to record it was bad etc. I have heard them in person, his fathers handiwork with amps and boxes is first rate. While I respect your opinion I think it may be premature, one day if you hear him live you'll understand.
Okay first off I'm NOT a guitar player. That being said when one has multiple effects boxes, as Blues does here, does it make a difference what order they are in? It seems as though it should: the effects of the one closest to the guitar would have its effects modified by the next one in line before it goes through the amp or onto whatever recording device being used. Yes or no? Like I said, no guitar player here, just an interested nosy prick. Thanks for you input.
+Theo 80126 Yes, the effect from the 1st pedal in line will be 'seen' by the next pedal in line, and therefore, yes, it does make a difference which order they go. There are no absolutes, but the majority of the players out there put wah and compression first, followed by modulation pedals like chorus, flangers, phasers, etc, followed by whatever 'dirt/fuzz' boxes you may have like big muff, blues screamers, overdrives, etc.. followed at the very last by delay/reverb and looping pedals. Quite often the delays and other time based fx go into the fx loop of the amp if you have one, which is another story entirely... effects loops. My amp has one but I never use it. Too much BS to fool with in my opinion, but purists do use the fx loops on their amps. Getting back to your original question, if you put the dirt/fuzz pedal before the chorus pedal (for example) it makes a different sound than if you hook them up the other way around. You might like the sound of them hooked up one way Vs the other, and there's no crime there... if you like the way it sounds, then you hooked it up right. ;-) There's a lot of famous guys out there who hook their rigs in unusual ways.. it's all about what sounds right to YOU.
Actually, often times in the guitar world, "you get what you pay for" is a totally invalid mantra. You can almost always get the same thing for less. But nothing makes someone with an inferiority complex fell better about themselves than by overpaying some absurd price and man, 'high end' gear makers couldn't be happier.
@Thirdgen83 the quality of this video is whats dog crap but that aint the uploaders fault. On the other hand if you are going to cite your "26 years of experience" then we might just say that regardless of your "years" blues saraceno is a much better player than you, the end.

taLLdavidproduction fucking amen. It’s rare someone can make a guitar truly talk. It’s a thing of beauty.
Agreed. Some of the most amazing tones in rock n' roll have been made with very little gear and a LOT of creativity.
Excellent demo of some KILLER sounding Dirty Boy pedals!!!

White t-shirt backpack dude: "WTF? I gotta see this."

Dimebag's fav guitarist
I just heard this guy for the first time today. he's baddass
That guitar sounds Blues Saraceno ♫♫♫♫♫☺
Low fi retro sound, no delay, and he kills it!
@2:20 the guy at the left, with the same expression as I was in the first time I knew this guy, thinking "how the hell I never heard this guy??" o.0
i just wondering Is that the same guy who did the dark country albums?
Yes
Is he the one who sings them though?
No, he is the guitar player, composer and music producer. he has different singers depending on the song.

@Thirdgen83 how little you know about tone. mojave amps are incredible, and although the dirty boys arent my favourite, they have their uses.
@lotitto ¿Donde venden esos pedales? Soy de México, ¿Donde los podría conseguir?

Thank you! It's kind of what I thought.
Anyone knows which song Blues is playing at 5:28 ? It really sonds like Paul Gilbert :D
why did he stop using tremolo arm for his guitars today?
He's in another phase of his life and no need of pinch harmonics and other tricks.

Rude Boy is $850.00!
HE IS BALD AND GOOD IN GUITAR
that guitar has that early VH sound very nice..
@lotitto alguien sabe de precios??
ojala en pesos colombianos :) gracias
$435.00 for a single pedal nah man. Really?
I guess you get what you pay for...
Love his music but that ugly guitar is a throwback to Disco when bands all wore matching outfits and had matching dance steps. Ugh.
That's a shitty sound..
he's awesome but his tone sounds like a wet fart
