As beautiful is The White Stripes were, ARE, AND ALWAYS WILL BE. Jack had to turn the page and write another chapter. Thats what real professors do in there profession. Jack is a commander on stage. Love watching him work. Thanks Jack.
I'm slowly turning into you But you don't know this Tell the truth You say I'm lying and I never really tell you the truth But your face is getting older So put your head on my shoulder Yeah, put your head on my shoulder Yesterday it hit me that I do all the little things That you do Except the same little things that you do are annoying They're annoying as hell in fact It kinda struck a little bell in fact I like to keep my little shell intact And I'm slowly turning into you And I'm slowly turning into you Then something else came to mind That was the mirror It made everything clearer That you're more beautiful compelling and stronger It didn't take much longer Just for me to realize I love all the little things And the beauty that they're gonna bring I dig your little laugh and I'm lovin' your quick wit I even love it when you're faking it And it might sound a little strange for me to say to you But I'm proud to be you And I'm slowly turning into you And I'm slowly turning into you And I'm slowly turning into you And I'm slowly turning into you
I have an airline 1p red I know a lot of white stripes jack white racontuers songs on guitar, but that guitar tires you out quick. I just got it 2 days ago
I started listening to these guys when I was probably 10 years old, and it was the first concert I seen, in 2003 I believe, I still love them, even if I gravitated towards metal as I grew older. The last time I seen them was in 2007, and I bought Icky Thump on vinyl at the concert. It was raining really hard and it was an outdoor show lol.
Maybe its like.. one of those people that you see on t.v. screaming into the phone.. "YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHERE I'M AT!!!!!!! I'M AT A WHITE STRIPES CONCERT WOOOO!!!"
The Moog (which is a "keyboard") does have a special plug that pedals like the Digitech Wammy can hook in to. And then you can just run your guitar through the pedal and you're set for using the Moog as a guitar effect
Around 2:24 the audience is so ridiculously unresponsive by barely even yelling "YEAH" when he throws his arm up he actually starts laughing!! wow this is a gem of a video. he skips a whole section because the crowd was so fucking bad he couldn't stop from laughing.
well he said it was one of the early bands he listened to, a band his brothers were into, it wasn't until he was 17 or 18 that he got into real blues. all those blues-influenced British rock bands came first.
1:47m mark just for those still young and think it is cool to take pictures with the latest phone...while in the front row of an epic concert opportunity. Just enjoy it so you don't get on camera looking like this. It will make it to UA-cam, someday, and look better and sound better than you were capturing it. In this case the professional camera right over your left shoulder. LOL
let people live in the moment man, they must have paid to be there, they have every right to do whatever the fuck they want... even if it means missing out on the concert being occupied with their fucking phone.
they didnt pay to be there, you applied via radio one, first come first served type of thing, and that's what pissed fans off like me who'd of given their left bollock to have been there and just stood in awe the entire gig instead of fucking around with my phone right in front of them. Apart from that, its just plain rude given the nature of the gig.
When the artist himself says put down the phone and live in the moment and then takes the next step to ban phones from his shows - because he wants to interact with you not thousands of "faces to their gadgets turned south" - you respect those wishes even if you paid to be there. I saw him in Detroit this spring - no phone show - it was very refreshing and liberating. No annoying screens lit up all over the arena. Gladly left my phone in the car.
I don't think everyone who records a concert with their phones is necessarily a hipster. I did the same thing my first three or so concerts. It's about having exactly what you saw in your pocket or at home to recall anythme. The trick though is to learn I enjoy it as it's happening, to actually experience the concert the first time through.
@JohnnyBoi93xD I don't know for sure, but Jack uses a Digitech Whammy pedal quite often. The pedal allows him to play different octaves, I believe, giving him a really deep sound if he wants to. You can here this on Blue Orchid, as well, but with a POG, which is a different pedal. I'm not really well versed on music as a guitar player, so someone else may have a better explanation. But I think this is just about right.
"Hey Meg!" :D
..hope everyone is Doing well (🐝😀🎶🎼💝🏁).
This song is so underrated.
Johnny Flame One of my favorite White Stripes songs for sure
I love the part where the crowd is supposed to go "YEAH"! And it was really weak and it makes Jack laugh 😂 👌
I fuckin LOVE how he can warm up a crowd (at the beginning it was more awful than then)
This was the best Jack White band, IMO.
Agreed
man this ppl are so lucky to be in the presence of a fucking legend
I fucking love how they are sloppy on stage, it really gives the human element and it makes it really fun to watch
Colin Clark that's the difference between preforming something and playing like you pressed a play button
He's just real performer
1:47 dude call me if they play "I'm slowly turning into you"
5 years after you commented this and I can’t stop fuckingg laughing omfggggggg
does he have two cell p hones? lmao
@@seanbrooks2583 Yep
Hahahahhaha I just freaking noticed this!! Im dying hahaha nice call out! 😂😂😂
Mans known for switching up shit. But this is funny 😂
Damn! These two are the real deal. Wish we could still see them perform together.
I would be in a state of shock and awe if I were in the presence of Jack White playing guitar "live".
I think me too
I saw them this tour when they came to London.. didn't realise it would be their last uk shows...
1:47 thanks to that guy from audience
thats why we cant use phones on jacks concerts
So good. Glad I got to see them live while they were still touring!
And this was recommended to me automatically in my G+ stream. Love the full cycle here!
Oooh! What show did you go to? They looked like fun live
Same here...
He's such a compelling man. I love you Jack
He’s more beautiful compelling and stronger in fact
Yeah his lyrics are always amazing and he never swears which is cool cause his guitar does all the swearing I need haha!
I adore this song, I i find this to be one of their best songs.
As beautiful is The White Stripes were, ARE, AND ALWAYS WILL BE. Jack had to turn the page and write another chapter. Thats what real professors do in there profession. Jack is a commander on stage. Love watching him work. Thanks Jack.
I’ve probably watched this performance like 100 times. Fuckin’ stellar.
The Hyde Park version of this song is a bit better I think..I was at that gig and this sing was amazing
My favorite musical duo😍 They are great.
just Genius
+Jack Long Absolutely. I wonder what Meg is doing now though. Havent heard anything about her in recent years.
She literally dropped out of the public eye. Jack has been quoted recently saying he doesn't even talk to her anymore :( I miss her so much!
I miss Meg also
Best song on that album me thinks!!! I'll always miss you guys but thankful I was into you and saw you twice while you were around!!!
Great tune.
i love megs preciseness, she's so cute.
THE BEST ROCK N ROLL DUO IN THE UNIVERSE!
Love this group
This song is beyond dope, one of his best written, it’s intrinsic.
the boy in 1:30 probably had to call his family members and make them listen because they couldnt go. how cute.
man how Jack does this amazes me i could never sing, play piano, and quitar (especially the chep ones he uses) at the ssame time man oh man its amazing
2:01-2:03 he's so fucking adorable
Yup easy on the eyes
at 2:02...he looks so happy!
You can tell he enjoys what he does! :)
Thank you Jack!!
I'm slowly turning into you
But you don't know this
Tell the truth
You say I'm lying and I never really tell you the truth
But your face is getting older
So put your head on my shoulder
Yeah, put your head on my shoulder
Yesterday it hit me that I do all the little things
That you do
Except the same little things that you do are annoying
They're annoying as hell in fact
It kinda struck a little bell in fact
I like to keep my little shell intact
And I'm slowly turning into you
And I'm slowly turning into you
Then something else came to mind
That was the mirror
It made everything clearer
That you're more beautiful compelling and stronger
It didn't take much longer
Just for me to realize I love all the little things
And the beauty that they're gonna bring
I dig your little laugh and I'm lovin' your quick wit
I even love it when you're faking it
And it might sound a little strange for me to say to you
But I'm proud to be you
And I'm slowly turning into you
And I'm slowly turning into you
And I'm slowly turning into you
And I'm slowly turning into you
Anonymity Anon' to be true*
oh dude. I so want these two back together, i can't even. come back !
I hope one day we'll get to see the JB Hutto Montgomery Airlines guitar again. What a great song.
i bought the album the day it came out and i love the organ parts on there too...
This is a great song.
I wish they could have gone on and stayed like this this is priceless man such original work
my dream is have your guitar so cool
I have an airline 1p red I know a lot of white stripes jack white racontuers songs on guitar, but that guitar tires you out quick. I just got it 2 days ago
You're a great
Freakin' amazing! I loved every second of it!
Don't forget to vote for them
What a legend!
God, when that first note on the guitar hits it makes your brain think your lower face is melting.

THEY ARE GREAT

Took my breath away
OMG; I've never seen him so happy!!!
HEY MEG LOVE IT
fucking, uhhhhhhhhhh im blown away and at a loss for words
Hell of a song

you can tell he's getting a kick out of the crowd yelling ya back at him. he loves it when the crowd gives back. 2:27
Third man records in detroit is set up just like their stage set, with sum really cool swag to check out. Cass corridor.
1:46 "Hello?, Yeah mom. I'm at the White Stripes show."
First song I play when I start a gnarly skate sesh
Man, Meg and Jack are such a hot duo!
this may be my favorite song on that album right now just because of the organ part... i am obsessed with organs right now...
Feel like Jack wants to scream "DON'T STOP WHEN I SING!" at the crowd. They're so cuuuute.
He's the man
i really miss these two.
i'm realy proud becaouse Jack is Polish to!!! And i'm looking preaty much like Jack
Brilliant.
meg´s music is amazing too
i love how this song is about the singer
Jack is so happy from 2:27 to 2:40.. he can't keep the smile off his face
he's probrably sharing with his mother the most awesome moment of his entire live:
"OMG MOM! JACK WHITE IS PLAYING!!!!"
Easily my favorite song.....
Absolutely love love love this !! #JackWhite is the shit 💞💞
Greatness!
Ohhh god, thank you so much for this!
Thank you Tokin
yeah!
I recently read that one of Jack's keyboards was not available in red. His solution? He painted it himself! Haha, Jack is such a badass.
The Moog (which is a "keyboard") does have a special plug that pedals like the Digitech Wammy can hook in to. And then you can just run your guitar through the pedal and you're set for using the Moog as a guitar effect
Yes, without her the White Stripes wouldn't exist.
Meg is always having a good time.
Hey guys in the front row,In my opinion the White Stripes are better than your new mobile phones
Around 2:24 the audience is so ridiculously unresponsive by barely even yelling "YEAH" when he throws his arm up he actually starts laughing!! wow this is a gem of a video. he skips a whole section because the crowd was so fucking bad he couldn't stop from laughing.
i would sell my legs to go see this show in person
Wait for the duet... wait for it... ! :D
did anyone check to see if that's Robert plants son ? close your eyes and listen .
I have no doubt Jack developed with Plant as a huge influence. especially obvious on his version of "love is blindness"
well he said it was one of the early bands he listened to, a band his brothers were into, it wasn't until he was 17 or 18 that he got into real blues. all those blues-influenced British rock bands came first.
especially the studio cut of this - those early vocals of the song are very Plant like in structure. Love this song.
Anyone else notice how awesome all instruments sound live?
Who's on TWO phones when the almighty White Stripes are playing!?
@fruhotchiliman different chimes/bells, she uses them in red rain
love the little comments he makes :)

I was just living in the moment when I saw the video....Stoned Killer X. You do the same. No need to sweat the small stuff.
they didnt pay to be there, you applied via radio one, first come first served type of thing, and that's what pissed fans off like me who'd of given their left bollock to have been there and just stood in awe the entire gig instead of fucking around with my phone right in front of them. yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaa
says his guitar is out of tune.... best version of this song fucking EVER
Oh Hell Yeah! Thank you for uploading! :D
how did I miss this particular performance for so many years? #fail
Jack white saved the 2000s thank god. Rock would be fucked after the 90s without him in the mix.
fucking amazing as fuck
Well I want one.
I LIKE TO KEEP MY LITTLE SHELL INTACT
I don't think everyone who records a concert with their phones is necessarily a hipster. I did the same thing my first three or so concerts. @cordanscedo cool, thanks alot, my mates a guitar tutor n he had a Zvex, sounds pretty dam close, bought one a week ago
1:46 oh shit mom!
She is the best drummer for The White Stripes.
Look at this kid in the front row of a rock concert with two cell phones at 1:47.
So much coming from an Airline
at the best part too!
