- The Coalition and BRE forces meet on the battlefield in an epic 400 player fight for Mount & Blade Bannerlord. Both teams wield cavalry, archers and infantry and must use them effectively to win the day.
In this video I'll bring you three rounds of non-stop action. See if you can guess which side will win before each round begins.

Imagine this as a competitive game with narrators and everything
we had total war arena a few years ago.. great game. It was 5v5, each player controlled 3 units

Whatever company hiring the team gotta be fucking broke by the end of that tournament, imagine sponsoring/hiring like fifty fucking players.
Plus, the nature of competitive gaming just can’t work here. In Bannerlord, most of, if not all individuality is stripped away and you MUST work with your team. There will be no superstar, there will be no one man army. It’s very realistic, you can only earn recognition through leading but that’s it. If you’re a part of the squad, you’re just a number in the squad. So it will be hard for these players to make any money outside of competitions.
But if we’re not talking like esports, yeah, host a competition with a prize for players who play for fun (so these guys), then narrate it as they play.
@@Roisome it could work if you have two part of the tourney .. battle mode and Multiplayer conquest..
in Total war it would work with a modified campaign map.. where each player has a faction and then see who teams up with who .. think about the battle we would see.. historical or not .. (it's weird they never tried to make a campaign map multiplayer mode..)
in mount and blade it could work better because there you have player based game progress so everyone can be a general in the campaign map mode and then the teams will ally with each other and create
kingdoms by default ..
and the battle mode is just each member of the team plays battles vs the other teams player like penalties in football , who wins the most battles wins.
Seeing a fight from this perspective, seeing all those individuals demonstrates how challenging it must have been to coordinate such an amount of people in a medieval war. Then think about that each soldier carried a heavy armor and weapon, swinging killing blows all the way. What stamina they must have had. Cool video!

It's true, the coalition did win this one overall this week.
Just wanted to make everyone aware, I typically just use the most interesting three rounds and make up a story around them to make the video more immersive :)

Your honestly doing a good job getting all the action and I like the spotlight to highlight each unit as you voiceover what's going on. Gives newcomers some perspective.

bro this could be something special...imagine like an RTS style kind of match like this with a commander able to draw lines where he wants the troops. Maybe even assassins to take out the commander and lose that birds eye view. This could be an awesome league...

Hey bud! Yea that's right the Coalition did win this one. I often try to make up a story around the most interesting 3 rounds. Historically, there's quite a few of my videos that don't exactly align with the real event score :)
I'm open to changing my approach if people would prefer the story to match the real results. Might do a poll for it later in the week :)
It's beautiful. I could watch that for hours. I'm a hobbyist developer myself and like mucking around making very rough and ready wargames but this is great.

I'd honestly love to be involved as a spectator in some of the internal BRE events. That recent Herrimaults event looked amazing.
Historically, it's been tough to get on these without being part of the BRE, and I owe KoH too much to abandon them. Would absolutely love to join them as a guest if you'd ever have me though :)

I mean at the end of the day publicity and getting more people engaged in bannerlords is always nice ;) but im not sure thats gonna be allowed since the RP thing is more of an internal inter dutchy roleplay thing and we do have our own rules and our own guys for chronicling and releasing videos on those ^^ but do try talking to Lord Folcard (benoni) or one of our other Lords they can surely give you a more official answer or maybe work something out with ya ^^

Hello, I was wondering regarding the multiplayer mod.
Is it possible to create multiplayer coop campaign?
I was checking out the multiplayer mod but the prices for the loot and everything is absurd so I wish to play with mates private server but did not find anything?
That's so epic... may I ask what mods are you using? (Also the graphics and map mods)
Of course, this is the BRE Mod Pack. It's a mod specifically made for these multiplayer events hosted by the BRE clan.
Graphics wise, it's just native Bannerlord max-settings and 4k resolution :) Hope this helps!

Yea that's right! I just wanted the title to show how these events would appeal to the TW community :) The PC multiplayer scene is really thriving right now. Taleworlds are even doing stress tests to try and support 600 players in one battle.

Is it just multiplayer or a multiplayer mod (Persistent Empire I think)?
This is the BRE Mod Pack Event. It's a multiplayer only mod designed specifically for these large player events :)
The BRE develop/maintain the mod, and the coalition clans are invited to participate. Hope this helps!

I don't think the church interior has any access to the tower currently (it's just cosmetic). But that's a very cool idea for sure :D
Does anyone remember that total war game where you were a single unit in a larger army? Total War: Arena, that was cool, sucks it went under so quick.

This game engine need to capitalise QUICKLY. By far the best battle sim out there we need a Japanese Edo era version. Tbh we need everything right down to a Marvel Avengers version...I mean just get on with it and print money

This battle would of been so much better if they actually held a decent point advantage, why on earth was they standing in a middle of field easy for attack in the reer and outflanks, shit show but pretty cool just coulda been 10x better

Vanilla Bannerlord is available for most consoles, but only PC has mod support for these custom events :) Hope this helps!
Now as a modder, I could make these into actual Warhammer based battles, like chaos trolls, blood letters, or spawns of nurgle, kivlevites, empire men, gigantic trolls, etc.

Maybe in a future battle a dual could occur before it begins like the tradition in many historic wars

Is everyone in a player? Bannerlord is single player. Not multiplayer
Bannerlord does indeed have multiplayer support :) When opening Bannerlord in Steam, be sure to click the "Multiplayer" tab before loading in.
These large events are often found in the Custom Server lists and occur on specific dates/times of the week :)
