I tried this map in events. I like it . We need more maps in the TW official servers for sure!
Such a shame that TW doesn’t create new maps, who we can actually play outside of events.
This test was a sucess... and yet TaleWorlds refuse to increase the number of players for oficial siege server from 120 to 600
I dont think it's possible/maintainable. Also 600 seems just too much people to gather at the same time.

I hear you bud. I guess we just have to trust they are still doing these stress tests for a reason. Even if there are no plans for more players in vanilla multiplayer, at least this will help out custom events! Currently, these large BRE events I record are limited to around 480-500 players or so. Any more and lag/crashes make it unplayable. If Taleworlds can make it stable up to 600 that would make these battles even more epic :)

In his defense, there is quite a few fish shields in this vid. The Sturgeons are indeed on the warpath.

Wait is this Warhammer Total War or what? Oh I see its Mount & Blade 2. I held off on that because of the poor launch reviews but it looks pretty solid these days.
Yea that's right! I just wanted the title to show how these events would appeal to the TW community :) The PC multiplayer scene is really thriving right now. Taleworlds are even doing stress tests to try and support 600 players in one battle.

Is everyone in a player? Bannerlord is single player. Not multiplayer
Bannerlord does indeed have multiplayer support :) When opening Bannerlord in Steam, be sure to click the "Multiplayer" tab before loading in. These large events are often found in the Custom Server lists and occur on specific dates/times of the week :)
Love your content Matt, keep it up. Any idea who (which player) consistently gets the most kills? Would be great to follow them for a battle! Who are Bannerlords greatest warriors? Football teams win but top goalscorers are heroes.

Is this a continuous running server? Or do you only run these battle events? How does one get involved?
BRE events happen on Friday/Sunday around 7:30pm UK time. There are plenty of other events throughout the week for other mods. ENG and CI events are good :) Tbh, if you join an establish Bannerlord clan, there's a fair chance they will play one, or all of them :)

It's the BRE Mod Pack. It's a multiplayer mod maintained specially for these online events :)
why do you say BRE instead of Bretonnia?
The Bannerlord clan Bretonnia [BRE] go by both names. I just like to change it up sometimes :) Of the two, I think BRE is used more frequently.
This game engine need to capitalise QUICKLY. By far the best battle sim out there we need a Japanese Edo era version. Tbh we need everything right down to a Marvel Avengers version...I mean just get on with it and print money
You might be interested in the Shokuho mod being developed :) Quick search in youtube should provide loads of great video about it :)
