Two beautiful species! Congrats on the females, I recently confirmed that my P. reduncus and M. robustum juvies are both female, and I was thrilled. So rewarding when you grow them up from slings and get lucky

Yes, I love Brachypelma in general but yes the emilia is lovely. I too want a klaasi and don't have one in my collection yet. :)

Great looking terrariums and spiders. I use glass tanks, but the ones yiu have i bet is lighter. I like the sliding top. I have sliding top on one of my enclosure, i really like that

Thanks, yeah they are considerably lighter which I like. I'm partial to Exo-Terra but these are great. The sliding top and the clarity are gonna help me shoot video of them better so there's that as well.
Herpcult makes a similar product thats stackable. Which is cheaper works well for me

I compared the price of the Zilla to the TCribs while Christmas shopping. The TCribs cheapest enclosure is only about $5 more expensive but you get a BIG jump up in quality. Def get what you pay for here! Can't wait to get my hands on some

I dont know if I mentioned this to you previously but as you know acrylic scratches easily.
Even paper towels will scratch.
Check out the Zeis wipes at Walmart.
They are $5 bucks a box and will not scratch the acrylic.
I use the Zeis wipes exclusively for my Nikon F-5 camera,Nikor lenses and all my Swarovski,Zeis and Leopold rifle scopes atop the Weatherby.
I have watched ALL your videos as well as Toms,Richards,Kats,Tom's for a year now.
I am still sitting on the fence on purchasing my first T.
As I caught,kept,and bred many snakes since I was 10,Im not reluctant in any way, just unsure about what I want to do.
Really sold on smithii but wish they grew faster.
At one time,I had 57 snakes.
I found out that while having a collection can be great,there is a fine line between a hobby and a chore.
Even though both T's and snakes require little care,these hobbies sneak up on a person.
There are still 57 cages to keep watered and cleaned!!!!
That requires time,time,time.
Being a clean freak about animal husbandry,cages need to be watched for fecal removal DAILY.
As I hunt,fish,fly fish, play tennis,
church,business etc.
The hobby became a chore.
Plus,I sense you are the same as I on this.....I truly enjoyed spending quality time with each snake when my collection was smaller.
I developed incredible trust with each animal.
But,as you also know,your eyes get bigger than you're belly.
You see a snake you want at a show,then another,then another and before you know it you can't spend time with them as you did.
I see tarantulas as the same.
So many species,so many colors,such different temperments.
Oy vet.
Please continue showing us feeding videos.
No matter how often you folks show them (I know Tom doesn't like doing them but I find his dogs farting, clicking their toes across the kitchen floor,heavy breathing very funny)
I never tire of seeing them.

My H.P is a little butt head. It's about 1 1/2- 2 inches and always tossing threat pastures at me.
Mine does from time to time but she was being good on the video. She usually gives me a threat posture if I touch her like I did with the stick.
What substrate did you use in these
The one with the B. emilia I used my own substrate I make 40% topsoil, 40% sphagnum peat, and 20% vermiculite. The one with the H. pulchripes I used the same substrate combined with Exo Terra Stone desert. I mixed in the stone desert and added a top layer of it to give it that desert appearance.
I just got my first tarantula hopefully it's a female come check it out.
Great looking i have just to issues or questions which are the following... How about cleaning and scratches? What about the environmental impact of the material used, it makes me uneasy when i think the same can be achieved with glas. Oh and now I have seen them I real dislike the size of the logo it's a bit much for my taste. Or maybe have the logo on the lid. Anyway beautiful video and awesome tranatulas. :3 I am still waiting on my B. emilia and H. pulchripes providing a sexable moul, but fingers crossed. :D
Cleaning is easy, I use a microfiber cloth. I was worried about the same because the excavator clay is dusty and scratchy. I managed to wash it off of the sides by spraying it with water and carefully wiping with a microfiber cloth. I imagine scratches may be an issue eventually. I do like them. I think they are pretty high quality and much lighter than glass. The logo doesn't bother me because it's under the substrate line and makes it look kinda cool in my opinion. Not really sure about the environmental impact but I am certainly not going to turn my nose up at a quality enclosure when I am always in need. Good luck with your B. emilia and H. pulchripes. The screenshot you posted to try and promote tarantula cribs and get more enclosures wasn’t even a zilla enclosure. The zilla enclosure has vents on the sides.
Hmm. You have a funny way of wording things. I've never asked nor tried to "get more enclosures." They approach me. As for my promotion of the product it is because I truly do like them and am grateful to have received them. You may be correct as far as the Zilla enclosures. I checked and the Zilla has the vents closer together than the one in the screenshot. Incidentally both the screenshot and the Zilla are held together with rubber bands and both have lids that warp. Ironically I came across another post that was a Zilla enclosure and guess what. Same issue. Warping lid. Screenshotted that one too! XD
@@TarantulaHaven I just think the proper evidence should be provided if you’re going to make a claim for the sake of promotion so consider sharing that instead next time.
