Is Tarantula Cribs Worth the High Price?

I gave in and made a large order to Tarantula Cribs. Unbox it with me to see if it is worth paying the high price!

I just made an enclosure for my juvenile curly hair using a $7 model car display case I bought from Hobby Lobby. I turned it upside down and the “lid” is very secure. I got all OCD and meticulous on locating and measuring placement of the holes I drilled into the lid and right and left sides (basically like your T crib there).
In the end, my daughter said it looked very much like a professional enclosure from a tarantula enclosure company.😁

Oh my gosh thats awesome!! I have some tarantula crib enclosures and also have some cheap container store enclosures. Those work well! I havent thought about getting a model car display. I bet that does look really good 😁

I always use a sharp knife to open boxes, it's a lot easier then Scissors

I buy my stuff from arachnid shop or Marshall arachnids, instead because even with shipping costs it’s still lower than tarantula cribs. I think because big spider or tarantula UA-camrs talk about them a lot. They are probably great quality but, I would stick with the other stuff.

I checked out both Arachnid Shop and Marshall Arachnids. They have very good prices! Unfortunately neither has an arboreal large enough for my Suntiger.🫤 I was thinking of spoiling her and actually spend some money for her enclosure, lol. Lugarti has a nice one for just $80. Tarantula Cribs are just too overpriced and overrated. You’re definitely paying for the hype and name. Just my opinion.🤷🏻‍♀️

​​@@SamanthaNickole02o you have any tarantula cribs? Cause I absolutely love mine. All my T's are in them except 1 sling, and 1 jumper. I also buy from their open box items. It's about 1/2 price when things are available and the 2 I've bought, I haven't been able to tell the mess up. Like I've looked for it and can't find a scratch or whatever it was to make it to open box.
Edit: I just looked at Lugarti and those steel vents are breakable with big tarantula fangs, just FYI.

I really love the products they have the label on the enclosures are a little big in my opinion but over all they’ve got the best I’ve seen . I didn’t like the ones with the top slanted inward the price a little high but so are everyone else’s

So I dont have my own discount. Theres an option to pay $10 a month and get free shipping plus some random stuff is on sale. The other option is to use a discount code from someone who has one and get 10% off of the whole order. Tarantula Collective and Tarantula Kat both have codes. I'm sure there are others as well.
