Let me just say how amazing the straight-forward editing segments of the review are. It is so refreshing to see in real time how something will relatively perform with the naturally inconsistent Adobe.
@@iCrackr i actually like dell and owned 2 dell XPS 13 models. I'm being objective, the xps 13 plus looks like non finished concept model, everyone says that the battery life is around 5-6 hours with normal usage.. basically half of XPS 13. They should've made it 14" with bigger battery and hope that for next year they will fix the f keys ..
@@BiancaMikaehla thanks for your comment, how long would you say it lasts for notmal use (office, productivity, browsing), can you use it for whole day ? 7-9h ?
And is the white backlight on white color an issue for you? I'm thinking of getting this laptop but honestly i think they should've made this xps 14, with a big Bigger battery...
Congrats on the sponsor! The XPS13 has been my goto recommendation for years now, my wife has a 2016 model still going strong and mine is from late 2019. What would prompt an upgrade is a Ryzen option and better Linux support, something Dell used to be great about. They are still my first choice but I am eyeing the Framework laptop for my next one...
nowdays you have a starting model at around a grand, but thats with 8gb ram so youd probably be spending about £1200 (UK) give or take depending on country
I just ordered one and have been stressing over whether or not it was the correct choice. I ordered the 1360p version and have been wondering what that looks like versus the 1260 with thermals/battery/performance
I have the 1260p with the FHD non-touch screen. It's been pretty much fantastic, I've also been getting into video editing and programming, and I haven't experienced any problems. Battery life on heavy usage is around 4.5 hours, and on light is around 8.25 hours. I haven't experienced any sort of battery degradation after a year.
Very helpful! Looking to pick one up very soon. Have you noticed any click lagging while using the touchpad under heavier use? Like pressing down but having a delayed vibration while editing photos or video?
I'm having an issue where I'm watching youtube then it would stop, buzzing then eventually reboots. Does anyone know why it does this? its been doing it a lot lately. Its frustrating because I like this laptop, but I feel like the quality is not good. I had HP and I never had a problem like this.
Not sure why it does that... My unit hasn't had any issues like that. Maybe try calling customer support? When you buy a Dell you automatically get premium warranty.
@@BiancaMikaehlajust bought this on sale plus the Alienware m16. How good is their premium support? It’s my first Dell I always had asus before and some older MacBooks.
I am planning to buy XPS 13 , is itna good choice now in 2023?

Turned off after hearing 'carbon footprint' embarrassing
Really good review!
Thank you so much for this, the 10 minutes just flew by watching you
I suppose they asked you not to talk about the battery life (or the lack of it) ?😁😏
Found the Apple fanboy

Battery life is just ok. Not great, but still not the worst. 😁

I just got mine and it feels amazing! I just hope it lasts some 3-4 years for my university.

What about oled screen displays?
There is an OLED option. Not sure if I'd recommend it though given the battery life. 😁
Ganda ng xps13plus.
I have the xps13 2015 version. Still working :)
Any comments about the battery?
Unfortunately battery life isn't a strong point. It's just okay. It's not too bad. 😂

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video. So far, no not really. I haven't experienced any issues with the touchpad. 🙂
I've always wanted to get an XPS, but since apple silicon went out of its own. I went for MBP for now, still using PC tho.
this is a great ad!

Honestly, MacBook has same price and is just better.
