I have a question I have a ton of different sizes of pine wood well I been only priming the top then I do my acrylic paint pour then after it drys for a week are so I'll cover it with resin for the glass look but I have been getting a ton of lil pits I tried sanding and pouring another coat but that is getting way too pricey well someone told me that it was because the bottom has nothing on it and the resin is getting air bubbles because the back is bare I would like to know do I have to actually buy primer and prime both front and back or could I just use spray paint or house paint and put maybe 2 coats on both sides . Sorry for all the questions but I don't know where else to turn and I'm running out of money buying all this resin and thank y'all so much for all the toriel videos yall post to help all y'all subscribers y'all are awesome
Is there a trick to getting the resin to form nice curved edges? Mine seems to creep back from the edge in places, despite having enough resin on the canvas to allow it to run over the edges.
Hi Richard, it sounds like you either aren't using enough resin or you aren't using a doming resin. This article explains more: www.resinobsession.com/resin-frequently-asked-questions/why-does-my-epoxy-have-dimples/

Yes, I would try priming all sides the next time you try this.
