I wasn't gonna buy this. I thought 'why do I need more reverb?' Logic's are great, I have Abbey Road Chambers and Plates. I refused to look. Then I tested. It is very easy to get a really nice tone with this reverb. Less CPU intensive for me in comparison to Abbey Roads' as well. It is now my go-to reverb.
I just got upgrade to IK' studio 3.5 max for $75.00 using jam points. did not care about this plugin but seance they included it I gave it try. was pleasantly surprised by it. Right up there with UAD oceanways . maybe better in some respects.
Not a fan of lots of reverb but I do like a little to give things a little more body. This does look like it’s easier to use and understand than what Garage band has. I think I’ll give it try,,,,if it ever stops snowing here.
The one thing I miss on this, is being able to chain multiple instances of this reverb after one-another without having to load multiple versions of this on a bus. I often will use a ISO BOOTH and a CHAMBER or PLATE..but then I have to load two versions of this plugin onto the bus to make it possible. Other than that I really love that Plugin.
yeah, but in essence it's a convolution reverb, so it can only run one at a time. You can always put the Chamber/Plate on a bus and send any tracks/channels to it & just use the ISO booth as an insert on a specific track 👍
I’m somewhat under the impression this would be good for solo acoustic instruments as well, even if technically they’re not “concert hall” or “cathedral”. What do you think of this for solo classical guitar, steel-string acoustic solo and in small mixes, violin, cello, etc. ?
It’s also not just the convolution IRs, IK have done modeling of the signal chain of their mic-ing setup there. They won’t get into specifics but it’s a hybrid approach of convolution and modeling, with the intent of getting the rooms to sound like they would from the control room in Sunset. Demoed it and love it. It is a bit pricey but it’s one of the few reverbs I’ve tried where I feel like my other verbs can’t quite do some of what this does. So it may very well be a purchase soon haha
Dancetech might be the best plugin reviewer on the net. Love this guy!

This plugin sounds good on absolutely everything I put it on. EVERYTHING.
Love the T-Racks stuff (got the Deluxe collection based on your reviews of a while ago DT). Great vlog.
Amazing, bought this reverb yesterday will use it often!
Love this plug. Thanks for walking us all through it. Cheers!
I have it as well. Its my favorite reverb by far. PS... this video was done really well.
Hi. Thanks for your video. IK Multimedia's plugins tend to be CPU hungry. How's this?
Good plugin. I have a question Where do you put in the track chain this plugin when using as insert? Before anything (eq, compression etc) or after?

Ok I'm sold...nice one on the minimize blag.
The 100% wet feature on the sends is handy isn't it? Saves a few secs of faff. Those snapshot visuals are ace too
That really is one of the best reverbs I’ve heard in a while. How is the CPU hit on this?

They recorded IMPULSE RESPONSES not "convolutions". They used convolution on the impluse response to create the reverb.
yeah but they used a left handed cordwangle on the inverted slipper grommet clunge pump emphasis...
@@dancetech or you could say thanks.
@@KyleGushue nah its funnier this way
For reggae, do you like Sunset or Fame best, mate? They both sound very nice.
whatever i use it's plates & springs mostly for that sound, rarely chambers.
Sounds better than the ambience at Sunset

I have been wanting this plug-in for months, is it finally available as a single plug-in ?
FAME reverb is out
got it, hopefully have a video up tonight.
$150 seems like a lot for 12 convolution impulses.
Worth every cent !
