So glad you posted this! I was having the opposite problem - looking for a long loom pattern but only finding round loom ones! (The size I'd need is over at a friend's ;) ) This video helped me figure out how to extend a pattern beyond the one side. Thank you for all of your awesome videos.
OK so you can use this little loom I used in this video for almost all the projects I made on the 24 peg loom. I have a playlist of the projects. www.loomahat.com/24-peg-projects/
Hi Sister 😀 thats a beautiful hat. Thank you for sharing this with us. I have a long loom kust like the one you used. I just don't know how to use it. Peace 🕊️ Love ❤️ and Blessings 🙏🏾
Now you know one way you use it - like for anything that you would use the small round loom. So if the round loom has a project on it - use the long loom. 😊
Hi - I have a blanket I made on a round loom but I knitted flat - not in a circle so you can use your long loom for that one www.loomahat.com/garter-stitch-baby-blanket/ and I have a blanket that I made on an S-Loom. It is knitted flat so you can use your long loom to knit the same blanket. If your loom doesn't have enough pegs - just reduce the number of times you would repeat the stitch pattern. I hope that makes sense. Here is that project www.loomahat.com/waffle-stitch-blanket/
Denise, can you please tell me which brand long loom you are using? All of the ones I have found have skinny pegs. They are meant for large gauge yarn so the gaps are the same but the pegs are skinnier than the ones on my round looms. The one you are using has pegs just like my round looms. Thanks!
Good morning. I have a question pertaining to preemie hats. Do you have a pattern that would make a 2.5”x2.5” preemie loom hat? I am new to loom knitting and have been making newborn hats to donate. There is an organization(Bundles for Babies) that accepts preemie hats but I am unable to locate a pattern that makes such a small size. Any help you are able to provide me would be greatly appreciated. I would be more than happy to pay for a pattern if you have one. Thanks so much! 😊
Hi - First, thank YOU sooooOOo much for donating. It makes this world better. I really appreciate it. Ok, about your question. Using the round 24 peg loom, with a single strand of yarn and the Uwrap version of the knit stitch makes a tiny hat. It's the one worn on the teddy bear project. Here's a picture www.loomahat.com/mini-teddy-bear/
Your channel is like a salad bar with simple items right next to elaborate ones. A sign of a true talent and teacher.

I’ve been loom knitting for 10 years & I never realized I could use the ling looms for hats! 😮. Thanks Denise! ❤️
