Now that is how a tutorial should be made. No chatter or your life story, but pure and simple good and clear instruction. Thank you so much. Because of your delivery I might try to use my looms again. Nice scarf.
I was so confused with the only turning over 6 pegs from either side BUT then you explained it. I love how you start this one, the others ive watched have you binding off the beginning after you're done with the project. I also love that you tighten it up too! Amazing! Thank you!
Thank you for carefully explaing it. Im making my husband a camo scarf but i will try this one when i vet some bully yarn like you have. This will be awesome 😊😊
Put more videos out to keep people interested. Looming isn't that popular but it always comes back. I loomed over 20 years ago. The looms in stores aren't really there. Cindwood are my go to if I need more which 20+ years of collecting Iooms, don't need.
I'm watching this 11/20/24...so 1 year after your tutorial posted....never underestimate your reach. I picked up a set of rectangular looms at a church resale shop...I'd been using round looms. My first scarf attempt was a dis-aster...bummer. 🙁Not all tutorials are created equal....yours is exemplary 🤗. Pretty much addressed all the issues I had. I have some variegated yarn I might try so no changing of colors. You used bulky yarn...which turned out great...is it necessary to use 2 strands of 4 together? That would be super bulky 🤔 I guess I'll find out. Thanks for the great tutorial 🤗
Glad to see you back. Funny I thought about you recently saying to myself I haven’t seen a video from Ms. Yarn in a long while. Your ears must’ve been itching. So here you are with a new video. Does the loom need to be rectangular? I have long looms, but they are more rounded vs. squared off if that makes sense. Thanks.
How do you manage to keep your yarn at the beautiful tension. I enjoy doing this knitting however my tension is not as smooth as yours. Please share your secret, I have tried holding the base as you. I’m not successful.
This video was just what I wanted to learn. Thank you for taking the time and effort to teach this method of knitting stripes. One suggestion. Please choose two contrasting colors; i.e. black and white or red and blue. It will make watching the video so much easier for the person watching. Thank you again.
I'm confused about why you knit the pink rows from peg 12 and the grey rows from peg 1. What is the reason for this? Sprry, but I'm one of those people that can't remember unless I know the why of it. 😊
Good tutorial however even after tightening my yarn remained very loose and I have bits of yarn sticking out all over the scarf that can be pulled on and get caught. Quite disappointing and idk why it’s doing that.
Perhaps your yarn needs to be thicker, or you could try knitting more tightly. It takes practice to get the right tension. With this loom, I generally prefer a #5 weight yarn.
If you notice she is using her thumb so the yarn doesnt come off. Michaels looms dont hold your yarn on the peg. It easily come off so i switched to a kk rectangular loom. Michael's looms were okay when i was just learning but 20+ years i dont like them anymore.Get a loom that is less struggle for you and you will keep looming many years down the road. Im going to try this scarf.

I’M GLAD YOU ARE BACK 😁 YOU ARE A GREAT INSTRUCTOR. PLEASE DON’T DISAPPEAR ❤
I am gonna try this one day! I always cut and tie when I change colors but want to try this way…your colors are so even! Thanks for your videos!!
Thank you for sharing it with all of us!
Great video! I haven’t tried double loom knitting yet but your video has motivated me to give it a try. Thank you.

So far this is the best tutorial on UA-cam 🩷🩷
Thank you so so much, you have helped me more than you will ever know.

Thank you for this! I especially like your tight cast on method, no anchor yarn and no crochet at the end of the project.
I love your cast on method! ❤
Great a and clear tutorial
This is super informative. Many thanks
Thank you❤❤

My ears were indeed itching! You need a loom with two rows of pegs that are across from each other. Some brands have rounded ends and that's ok.

How many gram of yarn is enough to make one scarf?
Which type of yarn is best no 4 or5
I prefer #5 yarn for this loom.
Which size of yarn do you use?
Katherine. What gauge is this loom. Is it a 3/4 or 5/8

You don't need to leave such a long tail on bind off. You're wasting yarn that all you do is hide in the scarf.
