She shall never be forgotten. We were so lucky to have her as our queen. She was an amazing queen, an inspiration, and trusting guider and an amazing friend. I always loved how personal she was, always eager to go and talk to people in a friendly and genuine way. God bless her. She changed the world. What an amazing woman, what a wonderful Queen we have had. It's such a strange feeling to miss someone you've never met, but I really have a pain in my heart at her passing. What did she do that was so admirable? Never worked a day in her life, never struggled to get anything. Always everything handed out to her, even the throne. This actually made my cry. How impressive is it to give a speech about a passing partner live on tv without breaking down. The pain she must have been feeling during that whole 9 minutes, but she kept her cool just to please us. Absolutely heartbreaking. I can’t even watch the first 60 seconds without tearing up. To have had someone in her life for that long and that constant, really does make me envious.
As not being part of the Commonwealth, and as an American, I pray that God blesses the Queen with many more years of life! She represents Class, Respect, and Dignity very well.
I lost my father a bit after the passing of Prince Philip. This Christmas has been particularly difficult. I am not the crying type but I did well up whilst listening to the Queen's speech. I'm very glad I listened to this queen speech this year. I had dreaded Christmas coming because I lost my husband in October. But she reminded me of something which made my day easier, my husband would make anybody laugh he would not quit until you did. I’ve been watching the past few years myself. My dad died back in September, and Christmas was his favorite Holiday as well. I dreaded coming down the stairs this morning to presents and mama, but not my dad. It’s so strange… Her Majesty really nailed it this year.
As an American, she encapsulates a wonderful, firm Standing, loving, and strict woman, a devout, devoted leader, a woman of great faith. I cannot say enough good things about Her Majesty! I'm so jealous of the British! Your Queen is absolutely wonderful!!! I love her too. God save The Queen!
It has been said that great things come in small packages. Your Queen Elizabeth II might be small but she is not a person that takes things lightly and she has so many persons backing her. She is strong for her people but I would want someone who could stay up and listen to her I have also lost a spouse 15 years ago, it always was troubling then and sometimes now I still fall apart and I was not married 70 years. Right now she is wearing being a leader of her nations. Queen Elizabeth II has the weight of her nations and the Commonwealth. You also have a group you do not wish on anybody, we are called widows. If you go back to speeches at the beginning of her reign you will see that she has her written speech before her on her desk, and refers to it. I hope that when you are 95 years old you will still have your full faculties and are able to read autocue. Maybe your speeches will be implanted in your brain via autochip. 🤣
God bless her. We lost two dear beloved young family members before Christmas last year. The grief remains. Her Majesty suffered a grievous loss and yet can still speak so eloquently from the heart to all of us. She is truly a wonder.
Although no one would have expected anything else the quiet dignity with which her majesty delivered her annual speech to the nation was mesmerising, poignant & heartfelt. Her enduring love & respect for her late husband , her "beloved Phillip" shone as brightly as the light's on the tree, her heartbreak was palpable & the speech was all the better for it. I'm sure there will be those who will read more into it but for me it was simply our Queen sharing her grief & at the same time encouraging, supporting & thanking others. When a couple has been together a very long time, and one dies, the other usually follows. I was afraid that this would happen , once he died. I always admired The Queen, and I still admire her, always.

Oh, HM doesn't fail to put on a spectacular production. HM, just wants me balling my eyes out today. This was so lovely and moving. I felt every part of it. HM's words were so penetrating. Love conquers all. Even the spirit of death knows his limitations on love. HM's beloved Prince Philip is not with her in body but, HM hasn't failed to prevent death from stopping her from reserving a place for him in spirit for Christmas. The photographs, video, and opening with the speech she gave for Prince Philip, which he always loved HM for I'm sure, were all touching. The love between a husband and wife is one of the most sacred bonds. We are who we are; often times, that's comprised of various things. But, sometimes, being a beloved wife is the sweetest of them all. The entire production was magnificent YM. Please take care of yourself. Don't forget to eat your 4-5 day old broccoli sprouts and cabbage. You're loved. The eyes of the Lord are upon you. Merry Christmas to all of The Royal Family and thank you to the channel for airing HM's speech. What else is there to say except Prince Philip was one of the world's luckiest men. I'm sure there will be those who will read more into it but for me it was simply our Queen sharing her grief & at the same time encouraging, supporting & thanking others.

When a couple has been together a very long time, and one dies, the other usually follows. I was afraid that this would happen , once he died. I always admired The Queen, and I still admire her, always.

Oh, HM doesn't fail to put on a spectacular production. HM, just wants me balling my eyes out today. This was so lovely and moving. I felt every part of it. HM's words were so penetrating. Love conquers all. Even the spirit of death knows his limitations on love. HM's beloved Prince Philip is not with her in body but, HM hasn't failed to prevent death from stopping her from reserving a place for him in spirit for Christmas. The photographs, video, and opening with the speech she gave for Prince Philip, which he always loved HM for I'm sure, were all touching. The love between a husband and wife is one of the most sacred bonds. We are who we are; often times, that's comprised of various things. But, sometimes, being a beloved wife is the sweetest of them all. The entire production was magnificent YM. Please take care of yourself. Don't forget to eat your 4-5 day old broccoli sprouts and cabbage. You're loved. The eyes of the Lord are upon you.
