I don't know how the royal family can ever be the same. She was so wonderful, so kind, strong in so many ways and stood as a beacon. She emulated our values as a people, togetherness, and to keep calm and carry on building our way to a better nation. I've never had a grandmother. Both on the same side were dead before I was born. I have always imagined my grandmother to be like Her Majesty, not a queen but just like her individual persona: a dependable, strong, humorous, and a wonderful lady. May God rest her soul. The Queen was exactly the same age as my dearly departed Grandmother, who passed away three years ago. She even looked like her. When my Grandmother passesd at 93 I was forty years old, it is along time to know someone. . So when the Queen passed it was doubly sad for me, knowing that the link to the past was truly gone forever.

The world was unexpectedly a much scarier place for me after I lost my Dad suddenly. Like personally, my security was lost. One of the very few things I found comfort in was The Queen. She was a few years older than my Grandparents and my Dad was a year younger than Charles. She had seen it all, and lived to tell it with dignity, humility, and determination. I felt a similar shock to the system with Her passing. The world is a far lesser, and scarier place, without Her. I'll adore and miss her forever

When my Grandmother passesd at 93 I was forty years old, it is along time to know someone. . The world was unexpectedly a much scarier place for me after I lost my Dad suddenly. Like personally, my security was lost. One of the very few things I found comfort in was The Queen. She was a few years older than my Grandparents and my Dad was a year younger than Charles. She had seen it all, and lived to tell it with dignity, humility, and determination. I felt a similar shock to the system with Her passing. The world is a far lesser, and scarier place, without Her. I'll adore and miss her forever
