- The Man From The Fog is a Horror mod for Minecraft! In this review you encounter the scary man from the fog or as I called him The Man. He's basically Enderman that learned how to smile. It's got scary parts, it's got it's buggy parts and it's got my opinions. I hope you enjoy my review of The Man from the fog

Finally, a proper review and showcase of this mod, it's so hard to find something actually critical about all these Minecraft horror mods.
I had an idea for a fantasy Minecraft world called Mists of Duralga that this guy could fit in if he was executed better.
In MOD,(heh just got that), the Cultists try to perform a ritual to summon their dark god and nearly succeed until they are thwarted by heroes. The day is saved, but the ritual doesn't leave the world unscarred.
While the god wasn't able to get through, something else did. A curse befalls the land and an unnatural mist swells and devours the landscape. Unnatural things stalk the mists at night, Mist Walkers the locals call them. They whistle at their prey, trying lure or scare their victims and stalk them from afar. When their prey is plenty lost and afraid, they strike, mauling their prey and dragging them off, leaving no trace behind.
The entirety of this campaign is looking for a way to stop this curse and free the land from the cruel reign of the Mist Walkers.
If i could implement a way to do that I totally would. It woild be a dope ass campaign.
Theres so much potential for the man, a good idea would be that he WAS an ancient builder and just like the enderman, changed but had something go wrong and probably a leeway to why he stalks you and why looking at him angers him so much, the tear could be used to revive him as an npc that would trade stuff of great use
or where you could summon him and he would kill anything you point it at

I installed the mod and the guy appears day and night, without whistling, leaving me without field of vision due to fog effect and killing me in two hits, and I can't run from him because he's faster than me. Honestly, a bit annoying bc I thought I could fight or run from him ☹️
Also, since there's fog, I can't see anything, not him either so he just randomly, after a while of trying to see where's him through the fog, is his aggressive form killing me appearing out of nowhere 😭

he also will destroy some blocks to reach you. had 1 dirt block in my floor due to lack of resources, he dug under the house, into that hole and killed me.
oh also forgot, he broke my stone walls as well
@@detrix9043 this is a new thing added to the man I am working on a video that address this change and other things. Just to note this is a bad change making it so he can break blocks....

Also, according to my brother who was just attacked 5mins ago, it cannot climb anymore. He made a pillar and survived its attack
@@detrix9043 it can climb but it's buggy it may just break the blocks under you. it can also break bed rock now...
yeah I just somehow barely escaped death after it climbed up... and yes, thats the stupid part it can break any blocks. You cant even make an obsidian bunker or something to hide from it... its gonna get you.

somehow mine doesn't show up. i tried to summon him a few times but nothing popped up. i was ready with my full armor as well as the enchanted tools and foods ad wandering trough the forest just to met him but he doesn't show up to me

@@parodyshow4044 currently im playing in 1.20.1. recently i found out the issues here. I have over 100 mods installed in my Minecraft and thats the issue, One of them didn't come up together and makes the entity such as Man from the fog didn't load correctly.
My suggestion is you can move all of your mods into a new folder and then place back your Man from the fog mod as well as the Geckolib one. This way you can 100% guarantee this man will show up
I repeat this step until i found the main issues. My Man from thw fog mod didn't work correctly if i have Minecraft comes alive reborn Mod

You should do a review on the goety mod it's basically the og witchery mod it's not exactly a 1 to 1 port but the spirit of the mod is there you should try it out

theres alot of type if you spawn him with the command : fromthe fogback he wont do anything but if you use aggressive command it will start atttacking

that is a Shader that needs optifine. I think that is what your after.
How do i get rid of the nausea effect when it runs at me
that must be new. also a bad idea from the mod maker. no mob should apply that effect.

the egg spawns the passive form. he only comes at night and his spawning is lower then normal monsters. you may have other mods that are affecting it as well.

so in the new updates he is rare
but when he spawns there is 75% of death
do depends on your luck AND for me, on every world he started spawning after day 6

It says it is a possible harmful file
You can still download it. Thats a simple windows mechanic to save you from malware if it’s there. However these UA-camrs are safe reliable sources to download files from so you don’t brick your PC.
