I don't know what cats think but having a cat myself, I do sometimes know. Like I can tell when he wants food or cuddles or wants to use a specific door, or when he meows to say hello, etc. He's very smart and we have our own form of communication. I understand certain meows/actions from him and he understands certain words in specific circumstances from me. Sometimes it is hard to understand felines but when a smart one wants you to understand they have their ways. Whether it's walking to a specific area or a certain type of meow or even something as simple as a look or having their eyes closed for a certain amount of time. Cats do think and do understand humans and humans are capable of understanding them and things they do too. Either way, having a bond with a cat is the first step to learning for the two of you to understand each other. I love my cat and he loves me too :)

I don't know what cats think but having a cat myself, I do sometimes know.
Like I can tell when he wants food or cuddles or wants to use a specific door, or when he meows to say hello, etc.
He's very smart and we have our own form of communication. I understand certain meows/actions from him and he understands certain words in specific circumstances from me.
Sometimes it is hard to understand felines but when a smart one wants you to understand they have their ways.
Whether it's walking to a specific area or a certain type of meow or even something as simple as a look or having their eyes closed for a certain amount of time.
Cats do think and do understand humans and humans are capable of understanding them and things they do too.
Either way, having a bond with a cat is the first step to learning for the two of you to understand each other.
I love my cat and he loves me too :)
