- This is the scariest minecraft mod I have ever used! I haven't used many but Minecraft from the fog makes for a crazy Minecraft horror mod experience.
After watching thrite and Calvin play with this mod and his video Surviving Minecraft's Scariest Mod and Calvin's I Added HEROBRINE to my Hardcore World.. Minecraft: From The Fog #1 in his Minecraft from the fog series I was inspired to test out the mod. After playing it I can say this mod is TERRIFYING they smashed it however is it actually hard to survive and can I myself survive the scariest Minecraft mod for 10 days? LETS FIND OUT!

The fact this turned from “escape from a nigh unstoppable, nocturnal demon” to “help the demon actually manage to reach you” so fast is funny. That demon has the intelligence of a pre 1.2 zombie.

I love that this video makes the monster look so dumb even though he's supposed to scary. Best part is- BLUD COULDN'T EVEN WALK UP SOME STAIRS MAN, AND HE JUST GETS STUCK ON EVERYTHING 😭💀

5:48 for those who may be wondering that was caused by the man from the fog (night dweller) attempting to spawn but due to a mechanic in the mod if you get to close to the night dweller lightning appears and it’s gone there for by spawning to close it caused a lightning strike instead of a actual spawn, this same thing applies to any other lightning strikes during night with out a thunderstorm

@@ajplayer-zu4ee Yes, if you look at him before he fully spawns (hunting mode/aggro), he will despawn. If you don't find him before he fully spawns, he will start chasing.
The fact his hand is on the left side is way more terrifying and traumatising than the monster itself

Just a lil help-lightning means the man from the fog has either spawned or moved away and the whistling means that hes close. If you look him in the eyes hes supposed to de-spaw, i learned these things from watching calvin and i hope this helps :}

17:08 you could actually just remove the phantoms by sleeping in bed but not actually sleeping, you just click the bed and then leave the bed without sleeping

@@aiden_gamering9088 I feel like an exception can be made because Phantoms are easily one of the worst things in Minecraft. Either that, or just get a mod that removes them entirely. I'd rather watch him fight the Night Dweller more than deal with a bunch of flying nuisances.
@TJ-hg6op You literally sleep the second you interact with a bed, it doesn't matter if the night skips or not it's still sleeping, they're not "making the rules" they're just explaining what the rules are, no need to be petty over that.

You can get rid of the phantoms without skipping the night by right clicking a bed and then getting out since it resets the “time since last slept” statistic which is what the phantoms depend on to spawn

What versipn of the mod you played. Bc, I instaled new version wherr you need a special ritual to spawn him, and when your too much in the dark your vision is getting vorse, than you are teleported in a dimension where you need to find a bed to escape, and still night dweller dorsn't spawn. So can you pls tell me the version, bc I want to play with my friend to scare him, and bc he doesn't know what that mod is, it will be way better. Thanks!

While certainly spooky seeing him across the horizon it’s come to make me realize just how important atmosphere actually is.
When your in the overworld you have far more space, not confined and far better sight. Which in turn takes away from the horror.
As opposed to the cave dweller who resides in a place where you’re immediately at the disadvantage.
