Hey bud i was wanting to ask you a question about the F18. I seen a video a couple of weeks ago, not another channel like yours, just a video that a fella was talking about the F18 and F16 and he said the F18 out rates a F16 in a two circle fight. Is that true? Everything ive seen you do and talk about is how the F16 is a master at the 2 circle is why i ask
While you say that at the end of the video about the gap between the gap of 4th an 5th gen for american fighters but the Russians and their Su-30 and Su-35 tells a lot when you fought in the F-18 against the Su-30.
When I was a T-45C Goshawk IP, a fellow IP was a Hornet bubba. He was Naval Academy, his did was same, and an F-4 driver. So he was and is, through and through Navy. He also flew the Rhino in the scene of Top Gun Maverick in which Tom Cruise races his bike down the runway as a Super takes off. Anyway, he was part of the test and evaluation of the Super against the Raptor, and had many 1v1 engagements against it, even won a few. He loves the Navy and the Hornet, but said, if he had a choice, the Raptor would be his pick, hands down. It is the king of BVR and WVR.

Russia is still producing Su-57s; granted, they're producing them slowly, but they are producing them. That's more than we can do with the F-22. Our likely enemies are lucky that we have too few F-22s. They can simply overwhelm our too few F-22s with superior numbers, a la the Allies vs. the Axis in WWII; think the P-51 vs. the demonstrably superior Me262; the Me262 was a far better fighter, but it couldn't do squat because there were 100 inferior P-51s for every Me262. The same applies with the Raptor. We are SO SCREWED! We should've built 1,000 F-22s.

Fun little tip. theres a certain switch that turns off the G limiter and the angle limit of the elevators on the F/A 18. This makes it so at low speeds you can pull so much more AOA. Just dont use it at high speed you will rip your wings off. Also how you can pull a cobra in the hornet.
