- This clip features the song "Yellow-Orange Day"sung by Emily Bindiger (Fran), Chris Gifford (Danny), and Ray Stephens (Roy). It is set to a short film about kids coming together to paint an abandoned car. This song is one of the more popular compositions that appeared on the show and was included as the last song on side 1 of The Great Space Coaster Cast Album (please search my other videos for Track 8 to do a comparison).
I have randomly sang this song forever
Me too. I thought I was the only one. I love that there is a community of us❤❤
Great song! And Fran is so beautiful. I had the biggest crush on her ❤😊
This show took me from the end of grammar school into early junior high. It's ironic that Kevin Clash, while he sort of moved up the pop culture chain, would gain his widest appeal among the audience I out-grew. When the Huggles came around, that's when I went to some of Nickelodeon's shows, like Out of Control and You Can't Do That on Television.
I'd really love to see more TGSC episodes from the first two seasons.
Not heard this since it was new in the early 80s
Fran 😍❤️
What's up with The Great Space Coaster gang, and What are they up to these days?
Ray Stephens tragically died of AIDS in 1990. Emily Bindiger still tours a singer-songwriter. Chris Gifford is a writer and producer for children's TV shows.
@@ZForce5496 Do you know anything about Francis Kane? He was the performer of Baxter.
@@yosefdemby8792 I'd still like to know how the Baxophone ended up in Siouxie & the Banshees "Peek A Boo" video.
Not an SS Nova..........just another 67 with too many exits and a 6 cylinder
as gay as this song sounds, it's a little catchy 🥴
