Incubate til there’s no debate 👍 Also I didn’t know leopard geckos could self fertilize eggs! When my gecko lays one day I’ll make sure to check before throwing them away.
@@GeekyGeckoCreationshave you ever had a female leapard gecko fertilize their own eggs? And have babies? Or anyone else that has experienced this? Can't seem to find anyone who's actually had baby leapard geckos without a male fertilizing the eggs.
right now I only have a female gecko, and its already laid 4th time. the first batch already hatch 😂 i was so shocked because I never match her with any male
they look so healthy but I would say to keep them in a bigger tank!! they can sometimes be territorial and I dont think that small of a bin for 3 or more of them would be alright, but incubate until theres no debate!
Leopard geckos can be kept together and it is really common in breeders as they keep them in groups until they get older They should be fine as long as you check for any aggression, if there is you must separate them But female Leo’s with other females usually is doable
@@tinykqi._.7798 it is with big enough enclosures each gecko requires 20 gallons I don’t seen no 40 gallons in what they call their home one gecko could probably live their full life in it but thats too small for two i also only see the humidity box they need atleast three hides
@@BennynJammy true, and I totally understand where you’re coming from The bigger the space the better I was going to make the argument that they’re still a little young but if they can lay eggs then they can have their own enclosure I do get why they cohouse leopards (as young) but fair, it’s about time for an upgrade
Its really rare for it to happen since it’s basically cloning itself it would only lay itself if its parthenogenic and the babies would only be female like mourning geckos lay eggs and they are all females even though they are all females
@@BennynJammy Yeah it’s possible through normal breeding, it’s when the traits of the mother are the only ones that show up in the babies, he’s claiming it can be done without any male gecko being present to make the eggs fertile, he’s literally lying and making things up. Leopard geckos need a male and female to make an egg fertile
I got a male and female gecko rn both about a year old. Both pretty big. I have the tank separated with a middle wall but somehow the male jumped over it a couple nights ago and caught them mating in the morning… now the female is acting all strange , how do I prepare for eggs and taking care of?
hey i’m having trouble with my leopard gecko, he’s just a juvenile, i’ve had him for almost a month but every time i try to feed him he doesn’t eat and he is still scared of me

isn’t it bad for you to keep your leopard geckos in the same enclosure because they are territorial and might harm one another

I would like to see evidence of parthoclutching in leopard geckos. Because that definitely sounds like something you just made up...

Have you ever had a gecko baby through asexual reproduction
Leopard geckos are not capable of doing this. He is lying when he is saying that this is possible
@@captaincolin4774 it’s mainly with crested geckos 🤷♀️
My question exactly!
My leopard gecko I've had her for 3 3-4 years and she's never late anyway eggs so I'm beginning to think that she is a boy

Pls save these poor lil things from this animal abuser
I am the 1k like I have The POWER
Can crested geckos do that
Yes they can, more common than leopard geckos can.
So crested geckos can fertilize their own eggs on their own?
Without mating?
@@geckolover247mhm it’s a very rare chance
