I like to imagine Arceus is just lazy. "I could probably send you home, but that would take power and effort. I don't have time for that." I mean him sending the player to the past was him realizing Giratina and Volo were up to some BS and not wanting to deal with them. I really agree, I felt this way. *Another certified TerminalMontage Classic right here folks.* From the Braviary dropping the MC & the Professor off at each Lake in more than one way to the facial expressions on the characters, there was not one moment I snorted in sheer comical appreciation.
I think the only thing missing from this otherwise perfection representation of Legends Arceus is Adaman and Irida being in a constant fist fight with each other up until you the player show up. To which they happily greet you and then start fighting each other again.
The only two other things - Maybe a bigger distinction between phase 2 and 3 of Giratina's fight (cause it was a 3-phase fight), and Arceus's final battle at the very end, once you collect all Pokemon.
Everything in this video is 100% accurate to the real game. The paras invasions, the evolutions, the boss fights, and the lake guardians. The Volo fight matches perfectly as well. This animation is a masterpiece, and we all appreciate your incredible work on this! ❤❤❤
Now i remember they kept detecting me the most, i feel like. Whenever they were about. Angry and hostile. This is the most fitting meme of all times. Angry Paras Horde upon your every move/capture!
And it's even better when you realize that you can actually evolve before you've even finished the game, like in Super, but unlike in Super, where you eventually have to de-evolve, in Legends Arceus, evolution is permanent, so if you're Cyndaquil and you evolve yourself into Quilava, you can't revert and go back being Cyndaquil, and likewise, if you're Quilava and you evolve yourself into Hisuian Typhlosion, again, you can't revert and become Quilava again, but on the bright side, you'll be permanently stronger when evolving.
i feel like Giratina's bit being done so well is not only helping emphasize the Volo fight but also making up for how it only appeared for like two or three seconds in the legendary battle royale
Volo being voiced by Lucas "Zero" Gilbertson is something I would've never imagined yet never knew I needed. Also, I like how Akari's Shiny Psyduck ends up killing the Noble Kleavor and is never seen or heard from again afterwards. The moment where Arceus says the girl can't go home feels... odd to me. It's both tragic that she had been pulled away from her world and cannot return and comedic because Arceus tries to compensate by being her friend.
I think that deep down Arceus felt very alone, but he doesn't admit it that's why he kidnapped Dawn xD

There’s two phases of giratina? I haven’t even gotten past the first phase-
The games so cruel for that, I was celebrating beating the first phase only to hit me with the-“ GIRATINA IS CHANGING FORMS!” Which made me scream at the top of my lungs
I seen the battle beforehand, and I assumed it was going to be extremely difficult. All my Pokémon countered Volo's team. Honchkrow and Hisuian Samurott were immune to most of Giratina's attack. It took Giratina down with ease.

That millisecond pause before Uxie exploded after hearing the right answer. It was absolutely comedy gold.
I just started calling Paras Satan. Literally referring to the whole species. I've never seen something collectively become so angry about another living creature just breathing within a 5 mile radius of it.

That makes it even worse for our fellow trapped friend
How you become your own ancestor is crazy
Because then you can’t keep playing the game I guess?
I like to imagine Arceus is just lazy. "I could probably send you home, but that would take power and effort. I don't have time for that." True, they were one of my favorite characters, and they had some good development, especially Irida
The only two other things - Maybe a bigger distinction between phase 2 and 3 of Giratina's fight (cause it was a 3-phase fight), and Arceus's final battle at the very end, once you collect all Pokemon.
