  • In this video I give my first impressions of the Pfanner Protos Integral Arborist Helmet. This helmet is absolutely one of the coolest Arborist Helmets available and has many applications across the industry. Including, but not limited to: Tree Climbing, Root Collar Excavation, Ground and Construction Work.

    I love my Pfanner Protos. It's been solid and protecting my skull for about two years. I'll be buying another when mine has ran its life cycle.

    great review....I went from an older petzl helmet to my protos and the first climb or so i thought i had made a huge 300$ mistake......but now I cant climb without it

      Thank you! That price was soften a little thanks to Black Friday sales, but yeah pretty steep. Having a good screen and hearing protection included is the best!

    Hi hope your OK and well send are love from Suffolk England thank you for a fantastic video I pay £180 British pounds💷😊
    You mentioned most things about the pfanner, but I'm a full time arbourist and own my own business I own 3 pfanner helmets, plus husqvarna stein and kask. But you forgot to mention the most important part of the pfanner protos integral climbing helmet, which is shown inside the red pfanner helmet in the video, and thats the GREEN PROTECTIVE SHOCK EXSORBER INSERT WHICH MUST BE INSIDE THE HELMET WHEN YOUR CLIMBING⛑️👍BUT Apart from that a fantastic video 😉👌stay safe brother

    Why would anyone wear an arborists helmet when NOT using a chainsaw??? What kind of comment was that???

    • @CaseySnyder
      @CaseySnyder  Рік тому +1

      Do a little research and you'll find this helmet was made for other industries too. It's not limited to Arborist work despite the name. Have a great day!

    • @PatKuntz
      @PatKuntz Рік тому

      @Casey Snyder Yep. Allllllll kinds of other industries need an arborist helmet with ear pro and face shield. I'm sure a computer programmer or mortgage broker would look great wearing it. Maybe a chef at a restaurant? Come on man!!!! It's a climbing arborists chainsaw helmet! Get real!

    • @CaseySnyder
      @CaseySnyder  Рік тому +1

      @@PatKuntz sure why not. But let's first consider uhhh construction work and warehouse operations first. Did you know both the mesh face shield and muffs are detachable?
      Again, look at Pfanner website or social media. They are advertising for other industries in trades work. I'm not a Planner employee so I don't know why you're arguing with me on a 3 year old video. Get in touch with them if it bothers you so much.
