Thanks! We appreciate the feed back. Glad we were able to help you out. That's what we are here for. Therte's lots more to come. Things have been slow for us recently on this channel because work has kept us tied up. Unfortunately we have to work for a living.
Thanks for this. My husband’s ear muffs and one of the ear muff adapters broke. We ordered the 3M Peltor X4 first without realizing that we have to order the adapter too. I ordered it just right now after watching your video. Forwarded it to my hubster too 👍🏼 thanks again!
I know this is an old video, but it’s definitely the best video I have found about the super plasma. I have been trying to find out if you can have a head torch attached and still have the earmuffs attached at the same time as I would need both.
Thanks for the video. I have a kask super plasma coming Saturday from tree stuff. And I was wondering how to mount the ear muffs. Now I know. Thanks buddy.
Thanks for the information on the visor and hearing protection. Kask's website didn't have enough information. I see they have a new visor out that's better for when you're wearing eyeglasses or safety glasses under the visor.
Thanks Jamison! We have been swamped with work in both electrical and video/photography. That's a good thing in that it helps with the bank account but other than cutting down and cleaning up more trees we have not been able to get much work done. We did not want to bore everyone with more tree videos, ha ha. We have cut way back on taking any new photo/video work other than our regular customers and that should free us up a bit. With winter and rain/snow plus dark evenings it looks like spring before things will really get rolling. Don't give up, we are almost there!! We will have much more to show and talk about once we get building and developing the farm. Until then we are planning to post more videos like this and possibly talk about some of our plans for the farm. We can film in our shop at night. Thanks for watching and commenting! Terry
I see this videos a little old, how’s the helmet holding up, I’m curious because I want to get a good hard hat with ear protection, and will last a long time. Also would the ear mounts be in the way of a head lamp. Anyways good video that’s for the info!
Hey! Brian here. The helmets have held up extremely well. If/when we need new ones, we will definitely buy these again. I don’t know about headlamp interference, but I’m sure there are mounts you can use to affix a headlamp on the helmet wherever you need. Thanks and good luck!
+James Spires I just tried it out with some Tifosi Sunglasses since I don't wear regular glasses. It fit with enough room to stick my finger between the glasses and the visor. I guess it will ultimately depend on how aerodynamic your glasses are. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! Brian
Would you consider the visor good enough as eye protection without wearing safety glasses underneath? I work as a highrise concrete Carpenter in NYC and we cut a lot of wood for forms. I've been looking into these hardhats for their compact nature and great safety features.
For me, I would trust it. After using a friend's for a bit I ditched my safety glasses and got my own setup. It works really well for me. Safety glasses annoy me to no end so having the visor was a great find. You may have different results, but I've loved it. Good luck!
@@ForestToFarm Thank you for the quick reply. These hard hats look well worth the investment. Not having to tether off my hardhat or safety glasses while tied off hundreds of feet in the air will help so much.
No problem. You may start a new trend. I used to work high rise cranes back in the day. Only about 130 foot up. These hats would have been handy back then. Terry
@@ForestToFarm I actually started to look them up because our GCs on site wear them. Obviously if they wear them then their cleared for construction but I've been doing research on similar hard hats to find the pros and cons for each. Their compact nature would serve me well and the safety visor seems like a godsend of a feature.
Hmm, Let me ask Brian, my son. he ordered all the stuff and built the helmets. I would think the clips would have come with the muffs. Brian is in bed so it will have to be tomorrow. I gotta say those helmets are very good. We love them.
Hey Justin! Hate to hear the clips didn't ship with them. They should have shipped with the ear muffs. I would contact the company you purchased them from. They should hopefully send you out a set. We got all of our stuff from Treestuff.com. They are GREAT to work with. I'm not saying things won't slip trough cracks, everybody has their day, but so far everything we've ordered from them has been in perfect shape. Best of luck! Brian
@@ForestToFarm oh ok thank you. I ask because I’m trying to get some ear protectors for this helmet and don’t know which one would fit the best and flush.

They are a bit pricey compared to other hardhats but when u consider the fact the visor fit closer to your face for less particle intrusion say compared to pentzl or 3m types with visor accessories
Also the aluminum mesh that allows breathability without object falling through the venting compare to the open vented typed it again is worth every penny this video is mostly for arborist but we use these exclusively on many construction sites now.. they have a class c vented and class e non vented type for the super plasma as well as hi viz options where required only rework id love to see from kask is a future visor with a impact rating as the current one does not but it does comply with the safety rating for eye wear
