Hi @arvidurs! Your tutorial is a fantastic resource for the 3D community, and we've added it to a playlist on our channel so others can learn from you. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the 50.000 SUBS!! What a huge MILESTONE for me! Can't thank you all enough :) Excuse the small DPI Scale - I can't change it in Substance (yet)
Basically I am a comper, but loved to do texturing & lighting....I always spent some time to watch your tutorials..... all are really cool stuffs....thanx a lot bro.
God i hate to say it but i cant believe this is free .. my gosh this is as good as payed tutorial or even better than some. u deserve the glory my friend for sharing such an amazing tutorial with us ! god bless you my friend.
Can't believe I just found your channel and tutorials! Thanks so much for the in-depth tutorial and calm pace. Especially the Anchor points and baking through High Geo workflow was something I needed some help with! Cheers, Leo
Hey Arvid, thank you for sharing with us your workflow. You don't need to import High rez model to bake then switch to low, you have an option in the baking menu to use a high poly model instead of the low model used on the creation of the file !
Hey - trust me I tried that, and didn't get the same results - it only extracts normal info. I got waaay better results by doing the Hi geo and then switching to the low version
Thank you soo much for the tutorial! I'm still trying to get a hang on anchor points. I tend to get a little overwhelmed with the amount of layers I have. Still practicing with all the tools in substance, and your tutorials have helped a lot in simplifying some my previous workflows.
Arvid, a de-esser on your mic would be much appriciated in order to watch your long videos more comfortably, as there are some high frequences in your voice that "hurt in the brain" xD. That being said, thanks for your great content! P.S: if you're ussing OBS, you can go with the ReaPlugs, that are for free and work pretty well. You could make good use of both a lowpass filter and a de-esser : )
Interesting workflow using high to bake then swapping with low. Is good for final work. but If model requires lots of changes, then you will have to swap model again and rebake
Thanks for the tutorial! If you need only one channel in the layer you can Alt+click on it and it disables all other channels. Hope you understand (my english is bad)
Hollo, How to change the shader in substance Painter if the small arrow is not appearing beside the Main shader. Because i am texturing a car and i want a shiny coat on the body.
Is it necessary to Have Same UV layout of High and Low poly. I tried subdividing model but whenever i do that some of the parts of my UV get messed up. So i have to unfold it again and layout it again and by doing that there is no same UV layout in High and low poly model, Please tell me what to do and How to. Thank You for valuable content
@@arvidurs Thank you soo much….But Can you just have a look at the uv’s of high poly and low poly mesh of the Scooter please and then tell me that are they same or different
There are several different tiers to choose from, starting from 1$. The one you are referring to is the All Source Files tier, that enables you access to all sources files ever uploaded for all my projects, which gets updated with each new video released. And then there's also a 200$ mentorship tier, so we can do 1 on 1 sessions. I can elaborate more if you need it. Arvid

You have this down. Looks awesome!

yeah...agreed. but that would be the case anyways. It works definitely very well
nice tutorial but was visually difficult to see the settings you were changing...will suggest to increase the resolution size for windows.
Amazing for me, I think sp is the art(magic) of mask :P
Can't wait for part 2
I’d like to know how you got the wheel tire bit with the segments as a circle in the UV view.

Amazing work - what are the specs of the machine you are editing on?
it's a pretty beefy workstation for sure
@@arvidurs Would love to know the specs. I'm wondering what a good machine looks like now a days.

@@arvidurs pronounced perfectly :)
you are amazing
What app allows you to float reference images on top of painter?
Update: Oh didn't realize this functionality is built into Pure Ref. Nice!
I also have a video on that :)
why did you unwrap the wheel in a circle instead of a stripe? it's kind of weird looking!
This is amazing! Is there another way to get the 3D model?
Patreon is the only way - you will also get access to all previous tutorial files.
@@arvidurs 59 dollars) its expensive for me
Great
This looks to be amazing. I like everything you post though so I may be bias.
Are there no bumps or displacements on tire rubber?
not on this one no - it's just roughness breakup. on the lookdev stage I'm breaking it up a little more in the shader though
Sir Guys I use the Substance Painter. But I apply material but not Apply my Model. So please Any One Help Me. I am very confuse in this condition.

I'm not too sure about that honestly. But I think the data will be translated from the point cloud and not generally from the UVs. Not sure about this
@@arvidurs Thank you soo much….But Can you just have a look at the uv’s of high poly and low poly mesh of the Scooter please and then tell me that are they same or different
