We can display our website's ads on other websites and platforms based on the content of those pages and create the brand awareness among the target audience. Also we can have a competitive advantage. Our competitors may still target the keywords on the search network and outrank us rather than running display ads. We can target the relevant websites and maintain a competitive edge.

One more useful video (as usually)! A quite unrelated question, but with so many campaigns running at the same time, do you use any external tools for managing Google Ads campaigns that you find helpful? It seems that in 2023 an external tool can help keep everything organized.
My performance max campaigns say that by default, your campaign bids equally for new and existing customers. However, you can configure your customer acquisition settings to optimise for acquiring new customers. So surely it's always going to be 50/50 in terms of the bidding with the retargeting to existing customers?
Why does our google ad page look different? I'm speaking on the ban beside the gray banding. We have overview, commendations, insight - then it goes to campaign, assests, settings and change history. Nothing about ad groups, action insights or ads & assets... nor landing pages or keywords... I just tried running a campaign... but i'm not getting any view, clicks or anything... i think its because i'm missing keywords... idk

I don't think it was ever explained that brand traffic should only refer to a brand that you own. If it's a retailer like Walmart selling 100s of different brands then a brand campaign is not helpful.
