Happy International Women's Day, Star Trek!!!
This was so cool and such a great idea for International Women's Day keep up the great work Star Trek for life.
Star Trek has some of my favorite female characters. Kira stans, unite!
I didn't see Diana Muldaur who was in TOS & TNG. 😔
Good catch.
Loved this so much, I’m crying. I love you Star Trek, thank you for all you’ve done. Cheers to the future! 💕
Live long & Prosper, Ladies.
When I was a kid, I had a fondness for adventure found in books. But, with very few exceptions, the only women I saw on television were white housewives. And then came Star Trek. And there was Nichelle Nichols on the bridge of the Enterprise. Ms. Nichols took her role from Star Trek and headlined a minority recruitment drive for NASA. I don’t know if young women understand that when Star Trek came out, we could not even open our own bank accounts or get a credit card. In many places husbands had final decision on medical procedures. Seeing Nichelle Nichols, on the bridge of that ship, gave so many little girls like myself hope that there was something beyond, the constraints placed upon us and that a life of adventure was for us too.❤️
Okay...why so little time on the OG, Nichelle Nichols?
There seemed to be a lot of notable, high-profile absences too. I'd be interested to know why. Perhaps it's just that I want to see more people celebrated, though. It'd be impossible to cover them all, but still...

❤CONGRATULATIONS❤
How did they not show Animated Uhura in the captains Chair & Real Uhura Helming the Ship?
She's not the "latest greatest" thing.
@@robertmorris8997exactly. What a shame
Every like this comment gets equals a kick to Rick Berman’s groin after how poorly he treated the women of TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT behind the scenes
Id rather have rick back, he can at least keep a good show running. Kurtzman has set us all back
No borg queen?
That was cool and I can’t wait for a new season of strange new worlds, discovery, andlower decks
I gotta say, Janeway is the reason why i am the woman i am today
Nice to see Janeway back. Unfortunately, Star Trek: Prodigy isn’t streaming in Canada.
ConservaTrekkers will hate this, but this is what Star Trek is about; it's what Star Trek has always been about: equality, inclusion, respect, and opportunity for all.
Ensign Ro!!!
I wish they would’ve shown more of SNW Chapel, and I think the original Number One came in a little later than she should’ve
This is so awesome thank you 🖖💖 you bring great honor to the women of star trek
That was wonderful! Thank you.
Thank you!! 🖖🏽🫶🏽 More please!
So many strong women! Love it.
Love this!! The music is inspiring!!!
This was a lovely montage!!!!
💜 🖖 love it 🖖 💜
🖖
Wow - thanks that was wonderful 🖖🏽❤️
I want to see a video about all the men in Star Trek that have been my role models. You do know that us men need support too, right? We have troubles, social pressures, mental health challenges, addiction problems, workplace challenges, relationship conflicts, racism and discrimination, and housing and financial insecurity-just to name a few. So let's not be sexist Star Trek. Give me a video too that can inspire me.
👏🏻🫶🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
I think the editor didn’t realize that clip of Torres was from her self-destructive streak on the holodeck, when she was self-harming and at her absolute worst. They should have instead used the clip from the end of that same episode when she is in the shuttle pod and seals a breach before it happens, which is when she’s at her best, using her ingenuity and tenacity to save the lives of her crewmembers.
🙏🏻❤🖖🏻
Let’s fly! 🖖🏾🫶🏾
this is why I watch Star Trek. 🖖
my is the audio all over the place?
The Girls Of STAR TREK Rock!❤❤❤
Women, not girls.
@@LanguidAndBittersweetExcept the crew of the Protostar.
I like Burnham most
Nobody does
Why.its only my opinion.
The only one not a women is Mike
You have SO MANY characters to show off, and you keep showcasing the one that disobeys orders and knocks out superior officers?
Aw, you had to start it with not only the worst female character, but worst in general star trek character... anything from kurtzmans era is an insult to women
So many cringe moments. Women deserved better than what series like Discovery gave them.
Kira and Jadzia were both bad ass women who embraced their feminity without compromise. Their characters weren't just giving fluff piece speeches every episode.
Wake me when its international mens day in november
Um, pretty much every day is “international men’s day.” Sad but functionally true.
wheres the borg queen?????
jk she is evil.
Happy International woman day!
