I think of Starforged in the style of the TV series The Expanse which is gritty and has the elements that would lend to a game of Starforged. Great overview on what's to be expected. Like you I can't wait to get Starforged in my hands. I feel my own stories of being in The Expanse coming on.
IMPORTANT: Starforged is currently in development, which means things will change and it could very well be that things I mention here will not end up in the game. I still think that generally this should give you a good overview for the feel and style of the game.

My Take of Vows on Iron is that real stellar collapses occur when the star fuses into Iron and can go no further without gravitational collapse realizing their rebound energy to create all elements beyond Iron. Iron is the Universe's Foundational Truth and thus the Great Creative Watershed - Why NOT swear on Sacred Iron?
Says Warhammer 40k is better then Star Wars/Star Trek, clearly does not know what a Rogue Trader is... But seriously though, this is cool, glad I caught wind of it before the kickstarter ran out.
I started using Ironsworn to play “The Great Pendragon Campaign”. You can read about it at igm4u.com/f/ironsworn-pendragon-actual-plays where there are a few session write-ups and my Domain Asset that tries to simulate having the benefits and responsibility of being Lord of a Manor.
I already have my group lined up for it! Will for sure play it as soon as it comes out, and man, you do such incredible work on the artwork, some of the best I've seen. Really awesome stuff.
I absolutely love love LOVE this game. The setting is great, I love how the Truths can help you shape your setting and pretty much make the theme your own. I have been playing it non-stop for the last two weeks. The folks on the Discord are great, including Shawn Tonkin and Joshua Meehan.
What would be cool is a combination of starforge and ironforge: pirateforge. Swashbuckling on a ship on some kind of island setting. We have played ironforge as ninjaforge, so chances are without much effort Starforge could be changed into pirates of the Caribbean.

I do know that since the game is under active development the end product might be different from what I described here but according to Shawn Tomkin it will be very similar to what we described here. I'm so excited for it!

What you are talking about is actually a stretch goal that was unlocked in the Starforged Kickstarter.
