My pro ceed is the same as this, engine wise, took me alot longer to do. I took out the battery as the filter in mine is really hidden in there, also the plastic clips weren't that easy to open and i was afraid of breaking something 😏👍🇮🇪
Any issues with having the battery out on the proceed? I didnt when switching to a new battery in my ceed but that was only a minute or two. Wasn't sure in case it turns into a half hour job!
@terryatkinson3182 cheers, mate good to hear. My original battery only lasted 4 years but got a bosch and 4 years since no issues. Keyless so not sure if that's makes a difference but seemed to be something draining it then!
They keep you on your toes. But its amazing how many miles you can get out of these before they actually need changing , the trick of course is never fill from a jerry can any more .

Nice one. Them clips can go brittle over time and be a right pain in the cock.

@@tomthompson7400 the thing that usually kills them off is the biodiesel that DERV has in it. I’ve seen them gel up from it a few times
