For your information, how he applied the metal clamp needed to be corrected. Once it was tightened, the metal strap should have been turned back 180 degrees, and the two clamps that he hit with the hammer should have gone over the strap portion that was bent back 180 degrees. Thus, the tabs that were bent over with the hammer should have been holding down the strap against the rubber and the strap that was bent back 180 degrees. These would prevent the strap from unraveling.

You can buy a CV boot tool, it let you makes it tight on the boot and easy to install.

Nice video. It is something I would probably never be able to do but it is nice seeing how it is done. So when I go pay the bill after having it fixed I would have a good idea of the work involved. Thanks for sharing.
