THE PEART must have been out of range of the RASH signal in the sky. Dave did a great job!! I wonder how weird it was for Alex and Geddy to play on another bands stage with strange equipment and still pull off a ROCKIN version of a signature song....
I would have left pieces of my skull and what little gray matter remained after my head exploded all over the concertgoers surrounding me. Good Lord, that would be worth a month's salary.
I traveled from Rochester to Toronto to see the show. It literally just blew my freaking mind. The best part is nobody had any idea this was going to happen.
I was at this show. Not a soul in the audience had any idea this was about to happen. Absolutely insane. If my memory serves me, I recall that afterwards, Dave came back on stage and goes, _"That was fuckin' Rush!!",_ then says to the crowd, _"You guys all owe me another $5 for that."_ RIP Taylor Hawkins. You gave me an amazing concert experience.

Little shoutout I guess." And then wouldn't you know it...Geddy and Alex walked on stage and created this epic moment!
Rob W I'm sorry, but do you really put the three greatest drummers in the world, Peart, Hawkins, Grohl... in that order? Are you absolutely insane, or have you just only heard a handful of rock n roll bands?
Etherglide Nope, I am not 22 but thanks for the guess. I wasn't trying to be a twat, I was just genuinely curious. I apologize for insinuating that you were insane. You obviously are not insane, just seriously deprived of good music. I mean, I dig the Foo Fighters and Neil Peart is definitely an amazing drummer. But to say the three best drummers in the world are Hawkins, Grohl, and Peart..... well, it is so ridiculous it borders on absurdity.
+Leon Herperger I'm not sure where hatred of one band starts and a love for another begins. Your disdain of Foo Fighters and along with it Rush is apparent in your first comment. Both bands are considered favorites among their demographics, myself included. And with that comes those who don't like their music, the old adage of "You can't please everyone" comes to mind with your first statement. I find that fine that some people don't like the same music I do, as some of my closest friends are fans of either Hardcore Punk, Metal, Country, Pop, and other diverse music. It speaks to each individual differently. It helps cultivate our identity as a human, who we are in this spinning planet we live on. Keeps us up when we're down, and speaks to us as a medium for understanding our pain, love, and joy in life. Life is about challenging yourself and honing in on the things that you enjoy doing. However, no matter how good you are, how much talent you have at something, at some point, you will have to get paid. Using the term "sell out" is not solely a derogatory term of which you are saying about Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters. If you play at a club, gig, high school prom, or any other venue, FOR A PROFIT, then you are technically "selling yourself out" for money. If that's the case we're setting for what a sell out is, then you're calling Led Zeppelin, Prince, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, even Beethoven and Bach sellouts. And hey, that's your opinion. You're entitled to it. I may not agree, some others may not agree as well, but you'll find others who agree with you. Yes, your criteria of "what a band is" is different than mine, the next person after me, or those who came before me. Those that define a band as those exploring their craft and cultivating music to inspire the next generation are artists themselves. I cannot call myself a musician as I'm not in a band, but just exploring the musical wonders that a stringed instrument can offer to me acoustically. For myself, and millions of others, the Foo Fighters have explored their craft a lot with having new members come forth, experimenting with adding new instruments, and coming up with songs that speak to their audience. Millions upon millions of people can't be wrong about a band you're labeling as "hacks" can they? I'm not trying to justify that "you're wrong and should not give us your opinion," or say "go away troll." You've got music you enjoy, and I have mine. Shouldn't that be ok to have music in our cars, mp3 players, cassette tapes, CDs, 8 tracks, record players, etc.? All I want to do is have fun with my music, and not have it tinged with a sour puss getting a rise out of the masses. I want to feel the Hammer of the Gods come crashing down in my ears, bellowing and booming with presence, helping me get ready for life that is around me, and what is to come. That's what life is isn't it? The challenge of living.
+Dylan Hansen I just don't get it. I couldn't' name more than 5 good songs Dave Grohl has written. But I guess there's no accounting for taste, as the saying goes. But please... don't compare the "Foo Fighters" with Zep, Prince, Beatles, Elvis, Beethoven and Bach. My God! lol

Please Canada! Send us the world another band like RUSH. And please take back that little shit Justin Bieber, and Celine Dion.
Oh, okay. It's the entirety of Canada that's responsible for Bieber, Dion, or Rush. Idiot.
Obviously your too stupid to know the difference between serious commentary vs a joke. Why are you taking that statement at face value. Moron!
Arcade fire?

As an AVID RUSH fan, I'd say, Celine Dion, is pretty bad ass
I Hope FF release a Proshot of this performance someday
Captured with a very unsteady hand..Extreme shaking!
This must be the guy who takes the UFO videos. He jams to Rush in his head while the aliens fly over.
That. Was. AWESOME!!!
Would've been hilarious if Neil came on stage after the song just standing, chin in hand, everyone dead silent waiting upon his judgement 🤣
Ai Rush un grande abbraccio per le emozioni che mi hanno saputo dare nei 25 anni che li ascolto.....tank you from italy
Taylor played this way way better than Omar Hakim and Danny Carey did at the tribute shows. It just goes to show how amazing of a drummer Taylor was. It's emotional as hell because this was one of the greatest moments of his life
Other than this being a bit too fast I agree he nailed it. Just shows what an underrated drummer he was.
I'm working on getting tickets. My first experience with the Holy Trinity was back in 86 in Worcester Mass . I was just 16 years old and will never forget that experience even though I had nosebleed seats. I hope to see them this year.
I would of left the show after Rush left, there's nothing the foos could of done after that. No one holds a candle to Rush.
Damn, that was awesome 😎
I want Neil and Taylor back
just a dream come true...what a feeling that must of been for you (taylor) i can feel it in your playing...félicitations!
RIP Taylor Hawkins. You were worthy.
Taylor nailed it. I wish I saw this. RIP Taylor rock on 🤘. Would have seen this on tour just saying.
Magic!!!
