My son has the sickest EDC... he’s 6. He has a titanium whistle, that same “pocket knife toy,” and a Nintendo switch, and some fidget spinners or pens and flashlights for every occasion. He also carries hanky from REI because he likes to keep that face clean!! That little edc setup is ON POINT brother.
You should make an under 18 yrs. EDC submissions, I think there are some really neat EDCs some kids have set up. Loved the toddler's EDC.
About knife security, I belive is important to teach our kids to use properly a sharp blade, either kitchen knife or cutting tool, all of this according to their age. This may prevent accidents. Of course, in the mean time is prefferable to put the blades away.

I’ve been watching a lot of these pocket and hand dumps and see a LOT of Leatherman Waves. IDK how anyone daily carries one. They are really bulky and heavy. Don’t get me wrong I have one and love it, but it lives in my truck.

Amazing how people don’t put ALL of the things in their EDC system. Rarely see a phone, rarely see keys (unless it has something that gives the owner some sort of whatever cred). What’s the point of showing part of your EDC system? To just brag about some of your cool gear?
