I have only one flashlight its the Fenix LD02, it was a gift from my dad so I kept it on my keys for a couple of years now.
My favorite flashlight is the Olight S1 Baton. I love it because it's so cheap, yet effective, as well as the size.

Olight s1r baton II. I’m a medic and the versatility and brightness settings are simply amazing for work or play. Hat clip is used often when I need both hands to complete tasks, easily recharged, magnetic base is a plus as well. It’s simply perfection
My favorite edc flashlight would be the streamlight microstream USB it's decently bright and only $50
The flashlight I use most is my Rovyvon Aurora A3. Very compact, USB rechargable and easily clips onto my hat which really helps out when I'm at work and get caught in the dark.
I'm an optician, my favorite edc flashlight happens to be a cheap $5 Bass pro keychain light (much of my gear is budget friendly).. it sounds weird but works wonders for me..the low lumen output allows me to use it practically every day for optical measurements, yet isn't so bright that it hurts your eyes (especially after someone has been dilated). It fits easily in my pocket, and the keychain allows me to retrieve it quickly during busy days.

Favorite EDC flashlight... Olight H1R Nova. Yes it is actually sold as a head lamp, however this right angle light also comes with a pocket clip making this one of the most practical and useful flashlights in the illumination industry. With its magnetic base and 600 lumen capacity it is perfect for everyday use in almost an situation.
My fav. EDC flashlight is Olight H1R Nova. Small, powerful and most importantly, can be used for headlamp. Keep up the good work Taylor.
EDC light of choice: Olight S1R II CU. Love copper and the olight line. I have about 9 different Olight products and I do not regret any of my purchases! My back up light is the I1R EOS. I have one on every set of keys I own. As always; 2 is 1 and 1 is none.
I love my Sofirn SP10 V2.0, mainly because it has a metal button. The interface is exactly how I like it (hidden strobe and memory), can be used with a broadly available aa battery, it's natural white, it's affordable and it is the perfect size. Plus it comes in blue.
EDC flash is the Thorfire TG06S, single AA or 14500 li-ion, max 500 lumens, IPX8 waterproof. Only £15 from Amazon UK. Very nicely made for the money, and an excellent budget light.
My favorite EDC flashlight is a clone of a Surefire 3P that I made when I was taking classes for machining. I programmed and turned the body, but used an OEM bezel and tailcap. I also dropped in a Malkoff m31 engine.
my favorite has been the olight s1 baton. i lost it once winter camping in Utah. hiking back to the car 2 days later, i found it still on working. ive also run it through the washing machine 2 or 3 times and after replacing the battery still working like a champ!
The Zebralight H52w AA headlight with the Cree XM-L2 emitter in neutral white is my EDC flashlight using a 3.7v Li-ion cell and equipped with a deep carry pocket clip.
I work as an electrician and my favorite edc Flash is the olight M2R warrior! It’s ridiculously bright and super durable!
Favorite: Olight s2r ii Baton
Grail: Olight s2r ii Baton, but done in the Summer (copper) or Winter (titanium) style
Why: Convenience, multi-modal, and reliability even in bad conditions.
The convenience of the magnetic rechargeable base made me switch from my original edc flashlight, the Fenix PD35 , because while that model has a rechargeable battery, you have to remove it in order to do so. With the s2r, just plop it down and a simple red or green light tells you when you're good to go - it's essentially the closest to a flashlight equivalent of wireless phone charging that I've seen.
The multi-modes are great for a variety of purposes- I tend to use the moonlight mode to get around without waking up dormmates, or the high when I'm walking at night. A strobe is always a good option, and this one will leave anyone on the receiving end reeling.
With ridiculous battery life, the s2r can go weeks without a recharge if you aren't a terribly demanding or high-end user. It's handled plenty of drops with barely any sign of damage, and the only wear on mine is where the finish rubs up against my pocket. If I'm backpacking and have it in my pocket, I don't have to worry about it dying on me as I might with a lower-level water resistance flashlight. The only way I would love mine more is if I had it in a nicer material, titanium for everyday use and copper for a dressier look- and I want the s2r over the s1r because of battery life.
Also, I would love to hear your opinions on the new Free line by Leatherman. I know the Wave + is a community standard, but I think the new lines P4 model might outclass it, even if it's pricer. A full video comparing all of that line up would be great! Keep up the good work.
So I know I’m a bit late, but in reference to John and his hollow point pen problem, you could just polish that pen back to a lovely shiny brass, or allow it to patina to your liking then either have it clear coated or clear coat it yourself. That will prevent the chemical reaction between the brass and leather and allow you to stick to the wallet and pen you seem to enjoy the most. Just my two cents and I hope it can help!
Prior to my recent acquisition of an S1R Baton, my favorite torch was a Fenix LD12: It’s an easy carry, and yet it throws plenty of light for my usual needs. If, however, I need instant daylight, then I’ll go to one of my trusty Redline Select tactical lights that I have scattered throughout my home and truck.
My dad had bought a used truck once. We decided to clean the truck and in between the seats we found this light. The light is honestly pretty cool but I just love it because the way we found it was just so cool and funny.
Favorite light is the lumen top tool AAA.
I like it because it’s a small AAA light that has a clicky tail switch.
It also turns on in the medium mode, which is nice.
Currently my favorite is the olight i3t eos. I love it for the compact size and simple operation. Also the standard AAA is a huge plus. The i3t eos is sufficient enough for a non work edc however for work I’ve been looking for something a little bigger. The raider seems like a great option. I work in fire and water disaster mitigation and restoration and often times I get called to a house that flooded in the middle of the night. Having the raider would be a huge plus when doing inspections and having to work in the utility room with a light bulb out because their water heater busted. Thanks Taylor love the vids.
My EDC light is the Streamlight ProTac 1l-1aa. It’s light and throws light really well for the size. It also takes a few different batteries which is convenient. Grail light hasn’t been invented
My favorite EDC flashlight is an Oveready BOSS 70. I love the programmability, the 3500lumen output, secondary LED (as to not ruin night vision), CRI, and durability. Dan and Tom are great guys and have always taken care of me when it comes to warranty as well.
My favorite EDC light is my streamlight microstream because I am a student and it fulfills the most important criteria, budget oriented whilst being highly effective.
Favourite flashlight would have to be the Olight S2R Baton. Its a great light for everyday and the moonlight feature is unbeatable when you dont want to disturb anyone in the house.
Olight i3teos because its small bright and batteries can literally be picked up everywhere. The pocket clip can be used on a hat to work on a hat or on ny shoulder on my vest at work to free up my hands love this light! Huge fan of olight thanks to this channel

Hands down my favorite EDC flashlight is the Surefire EDCL1T. It lends itself well to both EDC tasks and tactical uses, due to its " gas peddle" tail cap. A light press of the tail cap gives you 5 lumens and a full press gives you 500 lumens.
Fenix LD15, daily carry it for 8 years now, has never let me down. Found it in a shop for a very good price and bought several imediatly.
Olight S2 Baton. Carries deep. Battery life is great. Has 4 different brightness settings including the ultra dim “moonlight” setting as well as a defensive strobe setting.
EDC flashlight of choice is the rovyvon Aurora A4 Ti, got one on order after viewing your video (can't wait for it to arrive), all the points you talked about helped me upgrade from my ledlenser k2 that I have carried for the past few years.
My favorite edc flashlight is the olight i3t eos, it’s the perfect size to disappear in my jeans but be there when I need it. It has two modes that is bright enough whenever I need it such as dropped things under the couch or looking under my truck. It has the super common AAA battery if it ever runs out. My grail flashlight is the SR2 Baton which I would carry on my belt in the leather sheath that you show all the time. It has lumens to spare and is a perfect size when on the belt sheath. I can’t see how people carry huge lights so I think that’s the perfect big light but not too big. Love the show #GAW

Flashlights: I carry the Rovyvon Aurora A5R in the keychain and the A8U in the neck . In the Arc wallet I put the Olight I3T EOS, and in my jacket I carry the Klarus XT1C (2019 version).
The Rovyvon are small and versatile for EDC use and I use them more than once day indoor and outdoor. The I3T is a "back up" light, and the XT1C is my "night walks" light, as it has strobe in case it is needed for signaling my position in the streets! Before the XT1C I was using the Olight M2R Warrior, but it is bigger and heavier and not so much pocket-friendly!
My EDC flashlight is a streamlight microstream. It's small and light and puts out the light I need for my everyday use. My Grail light is a boss clicky 70 in titanium because it is simply amazing!
My favourite EDC flashlight is easily the Manker E02. Great moonlight mode, impressively compact, powerful for its size, memory and an otherwise easy-to-use interface and it even looks nice. Got the E02H myself (which is the same but comes with a headband) which is a useful extra to have.
fenix pd35 v2.0 is my favourite edc flashlight. It’s nice and simple to use, fits into my pocket well. I use it every day for work and around the house.
I’m new to the edc game and heard that Olight is a great flashlight maker, this was around the time they dropped the i3teos in copper. It quickly became the grail the used and the abused. Love that light 💡
Favorite EDC light is a surefire 6p. Trust me I know it's on the bigger side but being a veteran it just brings back great memories for me.

Bought the RovyVon Aurora A3 after seeing it here. Favorite light so far.
My favorite as of right now is my RovyVon Aurora A5 because of all the neat features in it like the reading light on the side, that it is glows in the dark, how small and insanely bright it is, etc. There’s just not much not to like about it. I use it literally every day since I’ve gotten it. As for my grail light, probably the olight S1R 2 or the S2R 2 just because they seem to be an excellent fit for what i need a flashlight for (not too small and not too large) and for all the neat features they have on them, especially the ease of charging for it.
My favorite light is the Bell+Howell Taclight because of its many functions and also because it is extremely bright and I can change how wide I want to make the light.
Favorite flashlight to date has to be my RovyVon Aurora A1. Level of lumens I need, small form factor, and no matter how long I leave it in a bag always seems to hold it's charge. Thanks for the recommendation Taylor 👍

Favorite edc flashlight of mine is the Prometheus Beta QR with a pocket clip. Super small and fits perfect in the corner of my left pocket. I’ve carried it every day for the 4 years and the finish on it is near perfect.
My favourite edc flashlight is the olight s2a baton because its slim, cheap and takes standard batteries which are easy to find. It also has a max output of around 350 lumens which is perfect for my edc tasks.
My favorite Olight is the S1R Baton because it has been with me for over 2 years and still works as it did new!
Favorite is my olight in Copper because it's my first. Grail would be AAA size, light weight, USB charging, multi brightness and strobe with a side light like the rovy von. Maybe a rotating bezel to zoom and flood.
The olight sr2 baton is a great EDC flashlight! Mine works great for everyday use and use on emergency calls at night. The rechargeable feature is awesome.
My fenix e12. I got this light back when it was first introduced. It was the one of first pieces of gear I picked up when getting into edc and it is the only original piece I still own. It’s been through power outages, camping trips, the washer and dryer several times and it just refuses to quit. I’ve owned a lot of flashlights over the years but this one Is my ride or die homie.🤣
I love my olight s1r, small, lightweight, usable as a hat light for hands free use, and the magnetic charging base make it great for grabbing off the charger when in a hurry
My got to light is the streamlight stylus, it has just enough lumens to get the job done. I work as a Boilermaker in the refinery industry and some times we need to inspect gaskets and bolts on valves, and it comes in more than useful as an inspection light, so much so that most of my buddies have been turned on to use it too.
My favorite edc flashlight is FourSevens Preon P1 in Copper. Mostly because it’s not a super common light that I’ve seen a lot of folks carry. Also, it is AAA so it’s easy to have spare batteries if needed yet it’s still super bright for everything I need it for and the size is about the same length of my KeyBar so it’s very pocket friendly.
Fav: olight s1mini = front pocket ease of carry, headlamp on baseball cap, and micro usb charge batteries instead of tail cap charge means no down time as I carry a charged spare battery. Grail: thrunite v6 catapult = not sarcastically expensive, great distance thrower which is what my collection lacks. Cheers!
My favorite flashlight currently is the Thrunite T10 V2. It’s a pretty solid light and was actually my first side switch lights as well as an early magnetic tail cap. It does its job without being overly complicated. That said I would love to have an Olight S2R II Baton in brass if they ever make one.
I carry a Nebo redline flashlight, it is relatively cheap, usb rechargeable, has high low and turbo modes, decent battery life and one thing I’ve never heard about olights, it does have a zoom function which is used a fair bit
New to EDC PLATFORM. VERY ADDICTIVE but I love the new found life organization. CLEAR is the best way I can describe this experience. ✊🏾
My current EDC is a copper Olight I3T. My hypothetical grail would be the copper I3T with magnetic/USB charging and a high CRI LED or a Microsream USB with high CRI in copper. Sadly I'm not aware of anything currently made matching that description. The why is: I have a copper theme going, I prefer tail switches, I don't like cool white LEDs for EDC (tactical light is another animal) and AAA is the perfect size for an EDC light. I usually carry a tactical light as well, so easy charging, good user interface, and a neutral beam are more important in my EDC light than *all the lumens*.
My favorite EDC flashlight is the Tec Accessories pixel flashlight in titanium. I haven't ever carried a large dedicated flashlight and having this light on my keychain has been very convenient because I don't even notice that it's there.

My favorite EDC flashlight is definitely the RovyVon Aurora A1...because it's my only EDC flashlight, haha. But just because it's my only EDC light, doesn't mean that I don't absolutely love it. From the very first day I've been extremely content with my purchase and it's come in great use since I bought it. Before this, for EDC use specifically, I was just using my phones flashlight. Needless to say I needed to upgrade. I am, however, very proud of my Quantum 588 Lumen Tactical flashlight from Harbor Freight($8 after coupon). For years now, long before my A1, it's been thrown in a bag or in my car when ever I went camping or fishing, late night exploring, early morning dog walking, after dusk car maintenance lol. It's far too big for EDC and it's definitely a vehicle or bag light but its come in handy and I'm proud to say I still use it from time to time even though I have my much more convenient and brighter Aurora A1. The prize for this giveaway is awesome because, thanks to feedback in the discord when I was chosing my light, the Raider was literally the only other option I was looking at up against the A1. I ended up going with the option of the A1 only because it is more affordable. And ive still had the MT1 Raider on the list as my next light! Now I MUST wait and see how this plays out
I was a fan of the UltraFire Mini Cree LED until I lent it out to a bud who unfortunately lost the front lens assembly in the woods. As a cheap alternative it was very functional for my daily needs and had a floodlight to spotlight zoom option that was easy to fidget with. Plus it looked pretty BA... IMO. Looking to replace soon, hopefully with an OLIGHT M1T Raider!

My favorite is my Olight IE3 EOS Cu. I saw it on one of your videos and it lives on my keychain. It doesn’t have a bunch of obnoxious modes and looks very nice with a patina
My current favorite flashlight is the Olight S2R ii. I've been carrying it every day since it came out, I use it just about every day and the battery life is fantastic. The reason I prefer a larger light is the battery life and high lumen output. I'm not into high-end lights (not yet anyway) but my "grail" would be the Olight S1ii in titanium or the copper M1T raider.
EDC Light of Choice: RovyVon Aurora A1
Favorite edc light is the Lumintop AAA Tool. Have one in aluminum that is 3 years of daily use with no problems. Bought a second made of copper because copper.
My favorite flashlight so far has been the Led Lenser P5.2. The only downside with that is that there's no pocketclip. I like a small-ish flashlight with a tail switch and a reasonable lumen output.
Olight s2r baton ii would be my grail light. That two way clip and the magnetic butt would make it so easy to mount in whatever situation. Can’t wait to get one eventually.

Grail edc light is the Massdrop brass AAA because the brass is just beautiful with a design like this and looks like a perfect carry size.
My favorite flashlight for EDC is the Streamlight Stylus Pro. Just love how I can tuck it in the side of my pocket in my jeans, Dress pants, or shorts and still fit my hand in for to get my keys. I want to update mine to the USB chargeable version later this year.
EDC choice - Olight Baton II - simple design and charging means I don't have to guess at the battery charge left compared to AA

You may not know this one, but my flashlight is actually a tactical pen, the Wuben TP10. It has a glass breaker and a rechargeable flashlight with two modes (3 & 130 lumens) and obviously a pen. All that for just 35 € !

Recently got the Streamlight Microstream USB, so far it’s fulfilling all my needs, compact,Rechargeable with a micro usb, and its Very Bright and has 2 modes 250 lumens on high and 50 lumens on low, I prefer lights that have limited modes, to me theres no need for Strobe/SOS just makes it a pain in the ass when someone borrows your flashlight. However When there is multiple modes Olight does it right with memory of the last mode you had on.
My favorite edc flashlight is the fenix pd35. I like it because my father carries it and has for years. This light is what made me get into edc and actually taking pride in what I carry. Love the videos! Keep up the great work!!
Since I was a kid I always had a mini maglite on my keys then I upgraded to the LED one, when I discovered brass I bought a olight i3s-cu eos brass which I think is discontinued now I love the light hands down my favourite light I have ever bought its stayed on my keys for a number of years now I only recently broke the pocket clip but never used the clip anyway, the only light I have had on my sights is the small brass mecarmy illuminex torch with it being as small as it is and USB rechargeable but can never justify the price when the olight has never let me down
The flashlight I would like to get one day is the Olight S1r Baton II - Winter. It sounds like it is the perfect light and I really love the matte Ti finish of the winter edition. I road bike and mt bike a lot and think this light would be great for carrying during the day, and then I could use it for a light for riding at night when the sun starts setting earlier or find myself out later than planned.
My current carry is a Massdrop Vega AA/14500 Aluminum Flashlight and my grail would be the Olight M2R Warrior. If I want a lighter/less powerful carry I switch off to the Massdrop AAA.
My favorite edc light is the rovyvon Aurora because it's small enough to fit on my key chain and still really bright.
I'm presently very happy with my flashlight selection, but if I had a grail light, it would be the olight X9R marauder for my grandpa, since he LOVES flashlights, but is glued to the old fashioned big, heavy maglight type flashlights. I just think that this would blow his mind and he would love it.
Another thought for brass, it is aluminium but the 2019 Victorinox Alox series are in a 'Champagne' colour which could fit in really well with a brass theme
The Olight S1R Baton II is my favorite flashlight I use it every night to walk my dog since he likes to take his last walk really late at night
My daily is the i3t copper. It just looks cool and it's small enough to not know it's there. My work light is the railhead gear KE- FL 1065 800 lumen USB rechargeable.
Favorite Light has to be the Olight i3t eos in copper... never thought i would get a compliment on a flashlight but i do all the time at work..
Streamlight ProTac 2L-X. Great light, the rechargeable LI-Ion lasts and lasts. Hopefully the 850 lumen led will momentarily disorient unfriendlies. Fits comfortably in my pocket as well.
My favorite flashlight is the rovyvon flash light because of it's size and Brightness but I'm looking for a new one because the battery life doesn't benefit me I use them alot
I edc single AA lights. I run EBL rechargeables in them. The have an astonishing 2800mAh. So, they run for a long time before needing a recharge.
My favourite EDC flashlight is an HDS Systems Rotary. Grail is a Surefire Guardian. Hard to get the latest Surefire lights in the UK because Surefire don’t really export.
My favorite is the Olight M1T Raider. It provides 500 lumens, has a sleek look and has been reliable for me.
My favorite edc flashlight is the olight s1r baton 2 (summer.) Great output in a small package. Love the knurling and it looks great next to my hinderer extreme pen in copper.
My Grail flashlight is the Fenix PD 25. What I'm using now is the Atomic Beam I bought at Walmart. I was looking for a quick replacement after I broke a cheap one from Wish. Great videos Taylor!
My favorite light is the stream light stylus. I am on my second one in 7 years and I love it. To save space and get a brighter light for the size I have been eyeballing the usb micro stream in coyote.
