You can definitely get a cr123 at most stores, including walmart. But the easiest place to find 18650s is a vape shop. Most vape mods use 18650s
Hardware stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s are also good places to find CR123.

Thank you for shouting out the budget submittal. I have a decent and likeable budget edc, and it makes me amazed how most "built not bought" always look and feel less cookie cutter than a rich flex.
Streamlight microstream USB is a great slim rechargable light! Not magnetic charging but don't have to disassemble to charge, and I believe you can swap out a standard AAA if you can't find a charger.

10/10 would recommend the Ti2 Techliner in titanium, I love the thin tip due to the fact that you can be more precise with it. It also doesn't hurt that it goes perfectly with the hitch and timber engineer caddy 😍
Definitely feel like you on watches. Military style faces are my preference or specifically with like block numbers.
I've had a Techliner for 3-4 years now. I thought they looked silly when I first saw them too. It fades very fast once you own one. A joy to use. Losing it would be the only thing that stops me from carrying it. And it would be replaced at the speed of the postal service!
I think I found a fix for the jotter sticking! I copper plated a stainless jotter last week and found it started sticking most of the time. I put a drop or two of silicone lube down the inside of the mechanism, then put more on a paper towel and rubbed it on the inside of the tip where the tip comes out. So far that has worked perfectly and hasn’t stuck since!
I’m a 14 and from NH and you have inspired me to have an edc and I love it I love the video I’ve seen all of them and I love when you review cool knives and I’m getting the crkt squid I like it because it’s small and versatile
CR123's can be found at Home Depot and Lowes as well. They're usually up by the cash registers and are Surefire brand. Pricey but handy.
There is a Flash light that is small and thin that's is magnetic charging. Look up Fenix brand lights. I have 2. They are good LEO flashlights. I use one for EDC and one for work at the prison.

The tech liner is an awesome pen. I own one. The tip was designed like that for drafting. You can get the tip right up against a guide, like a ruler. In normal writing I don’t notice the difference.
I've had a Ti2 shorty (not the super, I need more to grab onto) for about a month, literally using it everyday. I have to write a lot of notes for work. I love it. The refill is fantastic and pretty cheap, the weight is good, the clip is perfectly functional, and the the tip design I think looks pretty neat and it's a functional purpose for getting better lines with rulers, protractors, etc... plus magnets. Magnets are always a plus
Good tip, shutter speed to control highlights and typically expose your image to highlights and lift shadows or exposure in post processing
Titanium from massdrop in blue and gold. I mix my brass and titanium and it’s my favorite mix. Doesn’t need to be just one thing. I don’t focus on matching and it ends up matching better. I’ll match backspacers to my light or necklace matches the clips etc but if it’s more than just one material, it looks nicer imo. Brass and ti. Ti and copper. Even copper and brass now. Scale designs are making that ok to do imo. I want all brass and copper mixed in my carries now.
CR123, Walmart, Safeway, Fry's, Kroeger, Walgreens... If you can't find an 18650, use two CR123s.
I agree- as I carry more and more smaller knives, I kind of want to carry heavier knives. I don’t mind the added extra weight if it’s for my knife. I have to start submitting my photos. I take photos at open houses and find some really cool backgrounds -/ and at open houses I tend to carry my finer tools and I really want to get some photos in!! Love watching the videos and I like the cools finds I see on posts. (You know he got that light for free- that was a steal and we all should have that light by now!) I have way too many submissions that I never sent in and there are so many fun knives that I want to share.
The nite ize doohickey is a good budget option for a pry bar. I keep one on each set of keys.
I still love Gerber. The Icon a roughly $15.00 knife is in my edc rotation, an when I go to the woods the Prodigy is my 1st choice. I have bench mades, Spyderco, Bark River an these still rock with them.
Pry tool, hmm, the bottle opener on my Victorinox tinker has a flathead on it and works exactly for that purpose, no wonder I don't see need for pry bars.🤔

I voted for the Tenacious because it's a good knife. However, I would personally choose the Buck 112 slim or the Cold Steel prolite.
Coast flashlights makes a couple slim rechargable flashlights that are pretty reasonable in price

Love the show, only thing that gets me through waiting for my wife while she gets her hair done ...... again. Just wondered if you ever thought about a slot regarding bags to carry your edc? Love the show and always great to see to see what other people carry and use.
I even have aaa rechargeable and a quick charger cable so that if I need to charge my aaa massdrop flashlights I can. Cr123 and 18650 and and more are all available at vape shops. And I agree that I use my hank more than my knife or my light because I have a son and we both use it as a bag, a wipe, a bandage, sun cover, whatever you can think of.

Carried a black ink fine tip Zebra pen since 2008. Refills are starting to get a little harder to find, but no worries ........ I've got a few packs stockpiled. I need a box cutter more often than a proper knife. Still searching. Any favorites?

Hello, I have the full size of the techliner pen in brass and it's a beautiful piece. I like how the refill looks and writes. It uses a uniball Jetstream and it holds it really secure. It's a must carry for me and I get compliments all the time. Definitely fun to fidget with. I recommend you check it out.

The tip on that pen is odd, but it actually would be ideal for me. I use a design template all day everyday, so having the refill protrude like that would fit super well.

CR123As are available at Walmart but I haven’t seen an 18650 in the store.
Best place to get 18650s is any vape store, they use 18650s in most vape mods

It actually is the one linked, it just has separately purchased aged steel bracelet and bezel from eBay. The model is GW-B5600HR-1ER (same as GW-B5600HR-1JF I guess but European version). It originally has black resin bracelet with red accents. My mistake that I forgot to mention it.
