Amy's amazing. She doesn't get near the credit she deserves. She's classically trained from Juliard and could sing any genre, but chooses rock. Her voice is just other worldly.
She never went to Juliard. Doesn’t take away from her talent, though!
She's a classically trained pianist, not a classically trained singer (what Julliard specializes in). Her voice is still beautiful and I still love her though.

It's the fox! I agree. I know what lithium really does, but “mood stabilizer” is a nicer way to put it. It works differently for different people. It works for some people but has adverse effects on others, like every medication.

I also love their song "Going Under".
Lithium is a heavy duty med, I was on it for 8 years, it really dulls you.

She might be the greatest female vocalist of all time from any genre of music and I'm not even kidding. The only female singers I can think of who are even in Amy's league are Stevie Nicks and Whitney Houston. And maybe Glennis Grace too.

Amy lee isn’t an opera singer she is a classical soprano much more control much less vibrato

You really need to give Lacuna Coil a listen. I still like Evanescence but am in love love with Lacuna Coil. 27 albums. They have been around since 1994. Gorgeous amazing front woman singer Cristina Scabbia and also backed up by Mr Andrea Ferro. Metal metal they have definitely evolved into heavier metal but they sound just as amazing live as recorded. They were also the first female band to ever be asked to join Ozzfest! There new album is called Black Anima I recommend Veneficium and Save me. Also not from that album I recommend End of Time,Blood Tears and Pain from the 119 show,Nothing Stands in Our Way, Heaven's a Lie and Enjoy The Silence (Depeche Mode cover)

Amy Lee is the best rock/pop singer of all time. In the overall, any genre category I put her right up there with Whitney and Mariah although Whitney owns her own level for being the best of all time. But in terms of rock, Amy is it.
There are a lot of powerhouse singers out there. Amy Lee makes it seem like it’s easy and it’s NOTTT. Every song is a masterclass in emotionality and breath control.
