    Hey UA-cam, Terrible Shooter here. Bringing you a special video. If your into crafting and arts, you’ll definitely enjoy today’s video and discussion.
    I’ve decided to stipple my Glock 48. It wasn’t as difficult as I thought.. it was actually fun to do and although it was tedious and took some time; it reminded me of a time when I used Photoshop when I was once a photographer.
    With that being said, the pattern I went with was a ‘Sunburst’ pattern. It’s not perfect but I’m satisfied and mannnn oh man!! This Glock feels so much better in my hands. So check out the video. I’m excited to share this with you guys. I spent hours working on this into the late morning. Leave a comment below, to let me know what you guys think.. share what projects that you may be working on or plan on doing. Also leave a like, that lets me know I’m doing something right lol and remember:

    If you don't want to stipple the whole grip place in your dominant hand only an trace ur hand an stipple only those areas it may not look quite as good but at the same time what means more 2u form or function

  • @CycloneGunworks
    @CycloneGunworks 3 роки тому +1

    bro all these haters sometimes forget that stippling your gun is mainly to improve the grip which I know your loving that new texture no matter how it looks. The esthetics are really what you pay big money for. I know your recoil control just doubled💪

    • @TerribleShooter
      @TerribleShooter  3 роки тому +1

      This! That is the reason why I took on the task of stippling it lol.. I can honestly say that it was a major improvement. The esthetics wasn’t appealing to me at all. Out the box, it was just bland. The stippling gave it the grip that I needed AND the look made it more appealing. It’s now my preferred carry over my Sig. glad you dig it and see it for what it is bro 💯

  • @hawtzauce5897
    @hawtzauce5897 2 роки тому +1

    So just a tip if you edc&ccw be aware stippling will give better grip even while in ur holster so if you carry iwb just be aware you might end up with some rash especially appendix carry options are also just stipple the front&back strap areas and the opposite side that would rub

      Appreciate it man! I thought about it before committing to it tbh.. I said to myself, “if I mess it up.. I’ll just get another frame”.
      But once I started.. the more confident and fun I had doing it. I liked how it turned out. I plan on adding some finishing touches to it. Since I’ve stippled it, it feels way better in my hands.

    FYI folks if you are hesitant about jumping into trying it on a firearm you can always practice on cheap AR-15 mags or what I did is order thermoformed plastic sheets off of Amazon basically its Kydex the same thing most holsters are made from and you can use that to practice on it isn't exactly the same but it's VERY close every manufacturer's polymer is a bit different from Glock to Sig sauer FNH etc. But you get the general idea using the soldiering iron or wood burning iron on anything made of thicker plastic an is a great training method

      Sounds familiar.. I think I got the idea from his video he did years ago and decided to give it a go. When I first got my Glock, I wasn’t a fan of it. Compared to my Sig out the box, the grip was lacking severely. Later on I came across his video doing a sunburst pattern and decided to give it go so I could at least enjoy shooting this thing (G48). Not enough reason for me to pay for a class imho but I’m not hating on the shameless plug. Besides, it turned out great for my first attempt!

    It's Called a FRAME, not a Lower. If the Frame is Unassembled, it's called a (Blank Frame). If you f*ck up the Frame from Stippling, You can order a brand new: Blank Frame... But it has a Serial # Therefore, a Background Check is Required, Same as Buying a Pistol.. On Newer Sig Sauer Pistols, it's Not Called a Frame, it's a (Grip Module). That's just for Your Own Information.... But it's Not a bad job for a beginner, I've definitely seen Worse. And for ur Future Builds, DEFINITELY DO A BORDER around the Stippling!
    - If ur Not Sure What Border to Do, Follow the Lines On The Pistol.,.,.,., And Just Like a Car has Body Lines.... A GUN ALSO HAS body LINES. 👍
