Your engineers can heal themselves as well. And if you don't plan on using chips you can sell them for influence, might have been more helpful early in the episode
Ooo, really good ones here! I assumed the engineers were Bio and never checked. Great point on selling stuff too. I need to get used to actually having a market in this!
I'm watching this series for the second time. You accurately characterized your opening with two Research Stations as greedy, and you wound up with techs for units that you could not produce. I wonder whether Power and Algae buildings would have served better. Perhaps if you had built them right after the Research?
I agree. I think unless you are 100% committed to rushing out a second city ASAP, one research lab is a better option in Zephon, as compared to a lot of my build orders from Gladius.
Im very curious, I have a game going right now as the honorable aristocrat. Ive been making a lot of progress against, and am currently focusing all of my efforts on the Untold Prophet, and wiped one of his cities. (I legit spent hours holding a defense line I set up, against three factions at the same time. it was quite the onslaught but im finally on the offensive) That being said, can the untold prophet use bleed to teleport units? His units seem to keep spawning in the bleed in my rear lines, and I swear one of his units juts appeared in one of the outpost he had. So ive been using tac nukes to destroy 6 tiles of bleed at a time, and as a result there doesn't seem to be as many of his units around anymore.
@@WeaverOfStars Im sure he has that, because while I was holding my defense line, he sent what i can only assume are titans to attack. There was giant flying bird thing I managed to defeat it in two turns, because by that point i had a lot of assault troopers, four crusader tanks, two siege tanks (all with cruise missiles). This game is intense, i love it. My glorious defense line held firm in the face of everything sent against it. Zehpon (im pretty sure it was zephon) even used two black holes to break my line, but it only disorganized it.
Do enemies get overwatch shots at units that tunnel next to them? Seems like if you're traveling underground, you should be able to take them by surprise.
Bad turn of event ! I hope Anchorites will give you some hand, against Zephon and fix your economy. Worm seems to be the strong early game unit of Voice, but it needs accurate positioning in order to take less hit as possible or it vanishes.
@@BabelBuilder I found that using the Voice transport "Surthodais Embrace" paired with Argyl worms goes amazingly well even in the late game. Surthodai can hold up to 3 worms, soaks up all the overwatch and disembark worms to delete everything, i just love it. also with an upgrade surthodai provides healing, which also stacks up with every other surthodai in the viscinity. Very good combo to get as soon as possible with voice
You're kicking yourself because you didn't get heal in the false speaker but healing usually spends an action and the speaker is stunned. So 99% chance you wouldn't be able to do that anyways
You need an assault transport to utilize the bio bomb ability aggressively.
Now your thinking with exploding zombies!
Ewok suicide bombs in Empire at War.
12:19 I'm some people in the real world would have love to be near them
That might be TMI! >.>

@@BabelBuilder Opening with two research labs can come back to bite you if you run out of minerals. Yeps.

If he grabs Acrin Zealots they can teleport through bleed.
There might be a tech that lets some units do that too...

this is basically my entire mentality playing this game.
Holy crap! turn 46 and you're just sitting in the corner of the map?!
Best plans of men and mice. We had such glorious plans! ><
We get our buns moving soon.

Hmm, good question. My gut says they would, unless the tunnel skill indicates otherwise.

I really like the unit, but man it just evaporates under fire. If we can ever get that mech hero fixed, its shield will really help keep the worms up.

Yeah, they really need the safety of a transport.
Why do you keep standing on fire (worms around the volcano)
Some like it hot!
Was I not noticing that we were taking damage?
@@BabelBuilder Unfortunately not!!🤪

Good to know. I didn't check if it was stunned.
