I have not found these dart throwers as useful as the MA Xibalban toad throwers, but early at least they have some value. Before you build critical scorpion mass you need someone to stand in between your mages and the flyers. I usually just put em way out front, set the flyers on hold and attack rear, and let the enemy bog their infantry down in the throwers while the flyers kill the commanders

Mengyi is so op with her abilities and ult. Hypnosis is insane, compared to the other spirits ult.

Lampads might be useful if you can cast gift of reason on them. It makes them Astral 1, Death 2, Nature 1 mages with 14 research. The Kers also turn into death 1, blood 1 mages as well.

This is such a cool and flavourful nation. Just tried them out and had to reroll like 5 times to get an island start. T'ien Chi was looking like an easy target but Shinuyama attacked me so I went after them instead and took like 7 turns bouncing off their fort with the pretender statue of war in it. Finally remembered from watching your videos to set my mages to advance and we slowly killed him with lightning bolts. T'ien Chi has had an indie knight army sitting on their cap for basically the whole time so they are the next to get sailed on. You can really get an absurd amount of the light infantry colossi very early with your mine and the mobility with sailing is great. I'm not too familiar with air or glamour magic yet so gonna have to learn that, but the storm captains seem incredibly good, as do the cap only mages.

58:10 about the Imp's adventure, they will gather stuffs depends on the area's realm limit. if you sent them out while in Yong Ning, they will only gather stuffs up to Foundation and if sent adventuring in Hua Feng, they will only gather stuffs up to Golden Core.

I picked this up after your last stream and it's even better than I was expecting. I haven't played past the first few missions though as I didn't want to go too deep until more of the campaign was in, but now I really want to play some more. I went a different route with my knight, going for a dual class hacker build. I'm not sure it was a good choice though, since I'm splitting my xp between two trees and not getting very far in either, though it does give me a lot of security disruption skills. I'll probably restart with a more combat focused build. Getting that extra Action Point skill seems too good to pass up. Anyway, looking forward to watching more of this. Hopefully I'll catch it live next time.

48:05 yea, i got scammed too. i really thought Lan You wanted the flimsy, cheap manuals i 'bought' but she is always 1 step in front of us. She already pre-ordered 3 manuals (red/mythical tier too) and just using us to pick it up and deliver it to her. 😂😂 and she keep adding salt to the injury by letting us keep the 3rd one 😂😂 (the one that are either generic or is compatible with our main art/root).

I Have A lot to say about Phlegra owing to my previous MP game as them. Phlegran Tyrants: Phlegran Tyrants are an extremely powerful thug chassis that can do some very powerful evocations like for example Your Air Random Tyrant can Summon Earthpower and cast Rain of Stones (devastating especially against helmless units) Your Death Random can gem up into Soul Vortex and effectively turn into super-light supercombatant Your Fire Random can gem up and Phoenix Power into casting Fire-Storm (Battlefield Wipe against any non-fire resistant troops) And Your Earth Random can Summon Earthpower and either gem up OR wear Earth Boots to cast Marble Army (Battlefield Wide Natural Protection with a small cost of 5 cold vulnerabilty) With The Tyrants you can also craft the Opressors Headband to get into Auto-Communions with your Communion-Slaves. Whats cool about this is that since they are Combat Caster they actually cast spells at 100 Percent instead of 125 Percent like normal Communions MEANING that they will always beat other communion nations at casting battlefield spells (excluding rare innate spellcasters and The Crown of the Magi). Phlegran Tyrants also have Combat-Caster but don't worry unless you have insane protection YOU WILL instead go berserk if you take damage instead. Due to how berserk works its means that they will never be able to take advantage of the Combat-caster attribute, You know CASTING SPELLS instead they will just rage out smacking anything with their weapon. However despite this they will always cast spells at a faster rate AND be able to cast spells in melee assuming they do not take damage. Phlegran Tyrants LOVE having items on their chassis and you can choose many wothwhile items for them. Some i'd recommend AND can be natively crafted Fire Helmet: For additional fire protection, morale and 50 darkvision ALSO head protection Elemental Armour: For good elemental protection plus neat protection values Lead Shield and Lodestone: So they can resist MR checks such as Mind Burn, Soul Slay and Paralyze Mace of Eruption: For when they inevitably get berserked and still destroy one square of units a turn with fire damage Girdle of Might: for Reinvigoration and Strength Earth Boots: For when you need to BIG earth stuff I could talk more but, I think i've given enough information on the topic for now.
