Quality control perk. S+ win every game, it's so overpowered. Anyways, wish more content came downstream, because I enjoy what you do put out. Scarlet orchard is my favorite prestige push map. it's gives so much metal and reputation.
Felt like this game was one big facepalm 🤦♀😅 But it's fun learning new systems.. If I could go back I’d use more pipes & rainwater, and then use all the wood from No Quality Control to make purging fire to deal with cysts!
cool video, great montage! May I ask if you are pausing the record during the game, or just cutting a full record into pieces after? btw, with that high hostility you could choose +1 tool per hostility production and just open all glades and caches in one year
Hi thanks! I record the whole game then cut it up afterwards, I like making my vids around 40 mins. I will definitely try the +1 tools next time, it's way better than waiting around trying to find tablets for the other one lmao.. (Sorry for late reply!)
I have a question about roads that you might be able to answer. You connect everything with roads like in a normal city builder. I often find I do have enough space and will often jam all the houses in some corner without road access. I think they can still use those houses, and they don't go to houses much, so the bonus speed from road doesn't seem to justify the extra space. Am I missing a mechanic here?
You’re correct, it’s not necessary to connect roads to houses as they don’t use them. I just like using roads for aesthetic reasons or to feel a bit more structured 😅
This might be the weirdest comment ever but I had a dream like 2 weeks ago that this game was multiplayer and I got put in a lobby with you and your partner, whose username was HEaviful. You guys did awesome but because it was a dream the game made no sense to me and I ended up losing it for us 😂
I’m Australian, but I’m a bit of a mumbler so when I record videos I try and speak clearer and I end up sounding American. But I think I was a bit more comfortable in this vid so I sounded a bit more Aussie!
I tried to watch, but I can't handle the jumpcuts. Another issue is the near constant panning with motion blur enabled, so it's nearly constantly blurred. Maybe the first issue feeds into the second: you end up cutting the parts where you are silently looking, and only keep the parts where you start moving the camera to action your decisions. I would prefer being able to look at the things you are looking at, and have time to contemplate the things you are contemplating. Ask: Is the video supposed to be a retelling of the events in the game (was this game particularly demonstrative? has the audience come primarily to learn from the things you point out?), or is it a sharing of the experience of the run to be enjoyed as an alternative to playing in the driver's seat or by oneself? I know which camp I fall into, but then again it does seem there are others here who can enjoy the way this is presented too...
I appreciate the feedback! A zoom mod I had installed messes with the blur, I had forgot to turn that off. The cutting could be considered a bit much for some people, but if I don't cut anything then videos will be 2 hours long (there's a bit of idle time - you often have to wait for things like the Storm to end before you can do more, for example) and I have a preference for them to be under 1 hour. (I definitely prefer to keep uncut game footage to streaming instead.) I always try and explain my process for why I am doing things as I am doing them - silent contemplation is not something I prefer to keep in my videos. I feel like I'm wasting peoples time when I can instead tell them exactly why I'm making the decision I am making. But I will definitely go forward from here making sure the cuts aren't too jumpy! As for the second part, I'm not sure why it can't be both? I primarily started this channel to share some self-imposed challenges within this game, but I learnt that a lot of my viewers don't mind a video of a game that shows a bit of the higher difficulties, or even videos that show off the latest updates. So in the end, my style might not be ideal for you, but there are other great creators in the community who make ATS vids that might suit you better! I can think of RonEmpire or DreadCanary off the top of my head!
Congratulations to 1.000 Subscribers, Beaviful! Great channel! 👏
Thank you!! 😊

Great video! Thanks for covering the new updates.
Also, is it just me, or did you suddenly develop a kiwi accent? 😅
Thanks haha! I'm Australian but my accent is all over the place 😅

Omg that’s amazing 😆
Beaviful gameplay
Hold on a sec. You had an US accent in the last video and in this one an Australian accent. What's up?
