You can tell the Defendant is very professional. She made the mistake of trying to accommodate the client when she should’ve stuck to her guns: no edits or alterations after a certain point. And IF she is going to take the alterations, then she needs to inform the client, in no uncertain terms, that such alterations can result in their dress not being ready in time for the wedding AND make them sign an agreement to that effect. I bet the clients will seriously rethink those alterations after that. That said, once she agrees to do the alterations, but doesn’t make changes to the due date expected, she’s still held to that date, and so the Plaintiff won as a result. Hopefully the Defendant learns as a result. And hopefully people learn that if they want these dramatic, elaborate events, they need to plan accordingly.

I'm a hairdresser, please have a hair trial. Also, if you see some hairstyles you like make yourself a Pinterest or similar to keep the photos. If you see a hairstyle where you like for example... The soft curls but not the whole style, screenshot it, if you like the way a style is swept up at the sides but not the rest of the style... screenshot it, etc... You get what I mean. Visual references will help your hairdresser a lot. I do a tonne of weddings and I love an organised bride. The fact that you already have your dress tells me you're organised. I hope you and your husband to be have a marvelous, love filled and fun day getting married. Take care. 🥰💍

@@Anglynn74 the dress really plays a big part in my eyes. The photos are the memories so who would want a dress that they had to get last minute that they really didn't want!? Then to keep having to look at the photos would just be a reminder. Also my cousin has been married for about 4 years now (I think it's 3 or 4) and people still talk about how BEAUTIFUL and bomb her dress was!! I had NEVER seen a dress like it and people still talk about it. So yes the marriage is what matters but the dress matters just as well.

Not sure what happens at that Richmond post office. I mailed something "Priority" to Florida and it got stuck in Richmond post office for over a week, and didn't move, per the tracking number. It did eventually get there, but a lot later than expected. The defendant had a good attitude about the situation, and was very professional. The defendant seems really positive about the outcome, I appreciate that in people. If you had ever have a problem with your wedding, just remember that you could be like me where 2 of you're 20 Invited guests are the only ones to show up, and they're your mother and sister. Literally, most of the people to RSVP backed out the day before or 2 days before the wedding due to a stupid dispute about carpool transportation costs. I even offered to drop a significant amount of money to get them all out there on my own dime, and at that point they were so mad at each other they said screw me.

      Who mails checks in 2022?
      1. Insurance companies. UAIG mailed my check for the total loss of my car. Direct deposit was not an option.
      2. Law firms. I had to wait for a mailed check for reimbursement of unused attorney fees. I also had to wait for a mailed check for my car accident settlement.
      3. The IRS. Millions of people still don't have bank accounts, so they mail refund checks.
      4. The Clerk of Courts. I had to wait for a mailed check for reimbursement on an overpayment of court fines.
      5. Finance companies. Had to wait for a check from Capital one for reimbursement on 2 payments they snatched from my account after they were paid for the total loss of my vehicle.
      6. My employer. They pay us our wages by direct deposit, but still mail out checks for bonuses and mileage reimbursement. Makes no sense, but that's how they do it.

According to law , the us post office is immune from lawsuits, so others have to pay for their negligence.
