I love that rhis game is exactly like actual house flipping. You clean it up, make it look pretty and deal with none of the structural/ electric/ plumbing issues
There are black toilets. I had one in my current house when I bought it. It sucked. Hard to see at night with no lights on, every little stain (even dust) shows up like you wouldn't believe. Looked nasty all the time. White just looks better.
@@CorpusCacus ugh, no. I have one of those bathrooms. The house was built in the early 70s. I'd have all the fixtures torn out and replaced with white but I'm too apathetic to do that. avacado tub, toilet, and sink upstairs, what used to be black toilet and sink downstairs.
@@thatjeff7550 yup house i grew up in was built in 1973 had avocado green shag carpet in the main rooms with brown shag in all the bedrooms all the kitchen appliances and bathrooms were avocado as well. kitchen had 2 layers of linoleum as well, first layer was some ugly arse bright orange and then the top one was the same linoleum but in green, lol.
2:50 That's Dungeons and Dragons, a tabletop roll playing game where you create characters that work together in a dynamic fantasy game where your imagination is the limit! (And whatever additional limits the narrator/world overseer sets). I reccomend it greatly.
Black sinks and toilets get scum stains really easily. You end up with white rings that never go away. They also show water spots a lot more. Just FYI RCE :)
Adding furniture and accessories to a house for sale is referred to as "staging" it. Since the furnishings are not intended to be included there are outfits that will provide furnishings on a short term rental basis specifically for that purpose; but belongings of the existing occupants, if any, or cheap furniture can also be used. It's tragically inefficient; but apparently buyers find it easier to be warm and fuzzy about homes that look home-y, even if they are going to end up furnishing them themselves and the existing furnishings are irrelevant or actively unhelpful; than they find it to be about houses that are grim and barren, even though that's the easiest starting point for one's own customization.
When i was a little kid I remember visiting some people with my parents. I don't know who they were, but i vividly remember their black bathroom amenities. Black thunder mug, black bathtub, sink, etc
I played the House Flipper 2 demo. You didn't buy the property, you were contracted to renovate it for someone else. The game is still a little rough around the edges. I hope the game devs address the issues before the game is released in October.
I don't know how to feel about this game. It does some things better than the original, but it seems to have been really dumbed down from the original in some aspects as well. I do not like that the installation part of the game was removed, nor do I care about the new trash mechanic.
I remember shopping for a house in north Carolina and half the House seemed to be in this condition. Plus or minus a collapsed ceiling. But it didn't change the asking price of the house. They were over priced for good condition, let alone the shit hole they were.
In regards to the I beam comment, he ain't kidding. "Steel I-Beam Cost A steel beam costs $100 to $400 per foot to install or $1,200 to $4,200 on average for residential construction." That one looks like 4ft so well into the 1000s of dollars.
I enjoyed Power wash, I enjoyed lawn mowing, but house flipper seems like a bit much. Seems like so many aspects to it that makes me crazy on things that need to be done.
The place in the game reminded me of Jacob feder's or something like that name there was a video where he went to a abandoned Island house which was getting destroyed by the sea and yeah something like that
I got a vid idea have someone make you a poly bride level and bridge but the catch is you can only control the car with checkpoint and reverse and stuff and you could title it poly bridge but I can only control the car
Hey civil engineer just wanted to say that I love your content and that I actually learn a decent bit from your vids (P.S you should really play Tera tech if you haven’t already
They need to combine this, Lawn Mowing Sim and Powerwash Sim into one almighty game
The first House Flipper actually has lawn mowing. And the squeegee goes the right way around. So close.
+ window cleaning sim
Omg yeah
The ultimate dad game
The ultimate chores game. 😮
this proves how crazy matt has gotten, he just bought some random house in the middle of nowhere. prove me wrong.
He's a brit. He wasn't "buying an house", he was colonizing the island.
@MattJDylan holy $#!7, dude! You didnt have to do him like that!
@@1st2nd2He’s not wrong though
@user-Sir_Alien i mean, thats why i said it that way... nothing hurts more than the truth!
He's just trying to escape the architects

I only seen black toilets in restaurants. ..Which is a horrible thought when you consider that it hides shit.
Avocado is the best color for bathroom design.
Toilets that suck can be pretty dangerous if you flush while your rear end is making an airtight seal.

I love it when you buy an island house right above The Dark Brotherhood...
I wa expecting that door to ask: What is the colour of the night?
We know

Sanguine, Brother.
Hail Sithis!
Come on, they're the perfect neighbors, you barely see or hear them!
I don't know if he meant to do it or not but RCE sets up the last washroom sign joke perfectly by referencing it early. I'm in tears 🤣

Yes!
I admire the ambitions of the guys who took a two-day boat trip just to graffiti Matt's house.
I LOVE THE REAL CIVIL ENGINEER MORE THAN ARCHITECTS
I love architects
@@zohaibtariq7351that’s a treason! The death penalty for you!

Matpqt.
Kind of disappointed It seems they removed the installation of plumbing and wiring in this version. Kind of enjoyed that part.
Its only an alpha version so i’m hoping that will be added
Real civil engineer never disappoints!
Even the Dark Brotherhood need a vacation sometimes.
Free tip, if u use the scroll wheel, you can make the tiling, paiting, plastering bigger and easier haha.
10:09 Now that's an oldschool reference, well done!
Please make this a series!!!
I’m pretty sure the game in the basement is cluedo, it’s a game about finding a killer in a mansion and uses cards, dice and figurines
2:56 when you're trying to flip a house but accidentally start playing Jumanji 😆
10:09 I did not expect a Markiplier reference there, but it got me laughing. Well done editor.
In case you were serious
There's a VR game called "Pane in the Glass"
Pretty good window washing simulator
Great video by the way!

Hello fellow engineers hope you are having a great weekend, Matt dropping a new video always makes our day!
I love that they come out at the exact same time every day!
I was kind of expecting the door to whisper "What is the color of night?"

As someone who is currently cleaning out my house to rent it out. I wish it was that easy to do all those tasks.

7:50 "It's sort of satisfying, but I'd rather be pulling it…" - I have this thought a lot.
I have 618 hours on house flipper and I'm so hyped for this!
Because of you, you made me want to be a engineer.😀
0:12 $1,000,000 House in California
As someone that lives in California, this comment is ridiculous.
Closer to 10 million.
House Flipper has come a long way. I played the first one and it was good fun but so janky. This looks much more polished.
8:40 so you can see the dirt and grime build up
Thats the dark brotherhood hand sign on the door, the side eyes are because its an easter egg😂
The first game looks much more robust. This one doesn't even have proper physics.
I know it's been over a year and it's hopeless but still, this game deserve more!
What's crazy is that places like that actually exist
I have watched like 4 other people play this and you are the first person to find or at least show the basement..
In regards to the I beam comment, he ain't kidding.

Black bathroom looks great until a single splashed droplet of water comes along and dries off leaving scale.
I did this a year ago with my own flat... I wish it was this easy to renovate a flat or house :D
That basement is the sanctuary of the dark brotherhood

12:00 its called House Flipper 1 (all the fricking windows are dirty)
I just love how the engineering book haw a beaver on the cover. It's little details.
I worked as a plumber for a little while and I remember hearing that black toilets are very expensive
Been waiting for this for ages
It’s funny that how he places everything that we should watch facing wall example- TV, mirror and more
I got a vid idea have someone make you a poly bride level and bridge but the catch is you can only control the car with checkpoint and reverse and stuff and you could title it poly bridge but I can only control the car
It would be a level fully constructed and you just have yo place the checkpoints
omg finally house flipper
Hi😊
Oh cool! In can waste time playing a video game about cleaning a house instead of cleaning my real house!
I really enjoy the thumbnail. RCE house before UA-cam and RCE home after UA-cam.
Matt the secret architect

can't wait to buy this game, i love house flipper 1.
Matt, you found a secret base of the Dark Brotherhood form Skyrim!
RCE designing the bathroom of an 80s serial killer
This just the same game. It could have been a DLC.
It genuinely actually looks worse to me than House Flipper
Is it just for tutorial or in HF2 you don't have to do pluming and assemble things anymore? 8:27
House flippers are the architects of the horrific modern economy... although both literally and metaphorically.
This would be better if beavers were doing the work
Love the videos!
I have no idea about what was in the upstairs bathroom but i think you should call it in as a bio hazard 💀
There's no way this isn't Master Roshi's kame house lol
I know architect houses look bad but I didn't know they looked that bad
I can't wait for the full game to come out
Please more house flipper 2!!!!
Yes now this is flipping real civil engineer stuff . You totally don't need an architect 😂
MATT PLEASE!! PLAY TANKS THE CRUSADES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love your videos dude
I did like the weird feeling of the first game that was oddly morbid, this one seems more cartoony.
Nice Daddy Daycare clip.
A lintel spreads the load above ya architect!
Oooh finally a game I play! Only it’s not HF2, I play 1… two isn’t out on Xbox yet haha
As a professional window cleaner, I am offended. Also, if you make a window cleaning-nado t-shirt, I will buy it.

anyone see the engineer beaver? 6:28
Matt's trying to figure out what to do with all of his UA-cam money.
pretty sure we'd all rather be "pulling it" than playing this game 👷
Have you tried viscera cleanup detail?

I believe Playstation(came out like 15/20 years ago) does have a window cleaning game that uses the camera accessory to make you the cleaner.
Oh wow I think I actually remember that
I-beams are only worth thousands of dollars if you need one or know of someone who needs one. Otherwise they're worth scrap weight.
you know the game house flipper is closer to architecture than engineering right?
Can we get a new season of planet crafter?

Black toilets and tubs leaves really bad water stains. And everything is super dirty looking
