I've seen a cement spraying machine here in Czechia, so that's quite accurate. You supply it raw materials and it mixes them right on the spot as you spray. A bit tougher to set up but worth it on larger building sites. And yes, plaster boards do get attached on metal frames these days and you drill the frame straight in to the concrete.
10:30 that happens surprisingly more often than you'd think. My dad is a structural engineer and literally just the other day he got a text from a builder saying they were pouring the concrete and the actual plans won't be ready till next week.
My supervisor has been dealing with a contractor recently who started building a cluster of houses before drawing plans for the sewer to serve them. Original plans that allowed for construction to even begin had the houses connecting to an existing manhole and sewer main - which were removed during construction to make way for one of the houses. Contractor is currently having to pay for hotel stay for a buyer who can't close on their *finished* house until it's connected to the not-yet-installed sewer.

in majority of cases its not that the workers are being lazy, theres just 500 other little things that have to be done before any visible work starts, once the walls start going in though, work is almost finished because they dont have to worry about the final parts being damagaed or messed up by the construction
This is why you need us architects, so you dont have awkward rooms, where your bed doesnt fit, and your living room is a hallway. These damn engineers….
i love how this game lets you choose how you play. you dont have to manually make concrete, but you can. you dont have to wait for the animation of placing things, but you can. you can also just straight up skip a step at any time
There needs to be a way to demolish or disassembly/remove things in this game, such as removing the television props blocking your path, or removing a window if you didn't like your choice (assuming you can't do that).

This game is so random...You don't typically insulate inside walls unless you're sound proofing a room. Also, the shims for doors and windows are absolutely necessary to ensure they're plumb so that you don't have sticky doors or windows that don't work. Also, they allow for you to pull off the trim and adjust them after the fact to ensure they're right if you're having trouble with them.
The windows are pretty spot on, those wedges we call packers. You make sure its all level and not warping we pack, the packers underneath, they come in tonnes of sizes but from memory I used to just order the boys like 5 sizes. I worked for a major glass and aluminium place in aus for awhile after highschool, went back to mechanics after though. But I was incharge of inventory. Done quoting/engineering of where windows/doors can go inc profiles of the aluminium extrusion, glass type and thickness etc. Also learnt how to make them and install them. Plan was to be sent interstate to help setup a new branch...I had a car accident instead, lost my job the when I recovered when back to my trade, mechanics. Done a few jobs over the years to further my skill set.
This dev should make an Interior Designer game where you can hand off the building you built to it. Then a Realtor Sim where you then try to sell the house you built
