In this EPF Episode, I perform my first Mystery Tackle Box SLAM since 2017. I take the July 2021 Panfish/Trout box to my local Creek for some ESLAYING.

Oh Yeah! we back in business baby. I'm surprised you didn't know about free falling plastics on micro setup. I do it all the time when the bite is tough. I also do it with powerbait and the fish go wild for it. Great video and felt like I was watching TV with the length of the video. Love the bonus fishing video and letter shout out. It is not so much that I didn't know, Pocholo, but that I didn't realize that the grub fit so nicely on the size 4 hook. Once I paid closer attention to it, I decided to try the combo out. 😀 And you are right -- that's a great technique for when the bite is tough. Glad that you enjoyed the video, Brother! When I lived in Philly and Fished the Pennypack creek and the Deleware river. Even little Fish Hatcheries on Linden ave I always wanted to run into EPF. Now I live in Florida so chances are slim but would still love to.

No, I am not, Eddie. And I don't support the Fish Brain App either -- due to the lack of enforcement on the practices that they allow there. i.e. photos with major fish mishandling, horrible automated fish identification algorithms, etc.

Me as a european (german) chuckled, as you said that. In Europe, no one fishes a Soft Plastic under a float as far as I know. Maybe we should also try to fish this way here, could be successfull. But every fish of our limited range of species has a different behavior than sunfish etc. in the USA.
It would be interesting to see you fishing in Europe, Leo. It just seems soooo different here. And often much harder. 😅

You know who else enjoys catching the other fish besides the Bass aswell? FirststateFishing and he lives in Delaware which isn't that Far from Philly! It would be cool to see a meetup with Epf and Firststate one day.
Definitely one of these days again, for sure! We have done some challenges in the past (ua-cam.com/video/VkQA-slXpCs/v-deo.html); however, he has been traveling around the Country in his RV recently. Hah. We will see.

When are the EPF 1" swim at EuroTackle, in assorted colors, going to be back in stock?
You should try the Appalachian trout slam. Catch all three slamonids ( brook char, rainbow trout, and brown trout) in one creek on one trip. Extra points if they’re all wild. I’ve done it twice!
Sadly, that would be impossible here in the USA. Out of the three of them, two you can find "wild" -- the Brook Trout _(Salvelinus fontinalis)_ and Brown Trout _(Salmo trutta)._ The Rainbow Trout _(Oncorhynchus mykiss),_ on the other hand, are only stocked in this Country. Furthermore, they are supposed to be sterile...to prevent this invasive species from establishing themselves in our native ecosystem. In rare circumstances, the Rainbow Trout will give birth to wild fish out there; however, to find all three of them out there -- and all wild? The chances would be very slim...
@@extremephillyfishing well Leo the fish I catch more than any other is wild rainbow trout ranging from 4-10”. In the last couple weeks I have caught Atleast 30-40 wild rainbows in remote Georgia creeks. It is completely possible to find all three species wild in a single creek as I have done it on two occasions in two different watersheds. Most of the time the brook trout are going to be further up in the watershed while the other two are lower however they are still in the same creek. If you don’t believe me I can message you on Patreon with pictures and locations of the trout.

So I'm trying to figure something out. Last night on the livestream you were talking about lure challenges, and it was my understanding that a "lure challenge" requires an angler to catch a different species on each lure to complete the challenge. In this video, you catch 2 Redbreasts on 2 different lures and count them as completed as part of the MTB slam challenge. Does this mean that a slam challenge is different than a regular challenge? I want to make sure I'm understanding correctly and didn't miss something. Great video as always, Leo!! By the way, I am loving the EPF Swim!
Still have not seen 1 Fishing UA-cam channel do a challenge with the best lure ever made the purple with white spots lure called "The Worm"
