The one, the only, Extreme Philly Fishing! Man I've been watching for you on and off now for like over ten years. Keep posting, ill always try to keep the nostalgia going 👍
Ive caught wild browns on powerbait. I believe its because its moving and they aggressive to movement. That also explains why they are barely biting because its a reaction strike.
Nice job Leo pulling out the Powerbait to save the day and get your limit! If I am keeping trout I like to use #20 treble hooks with the dough or gulp eggs.
At the place ive been begging you to fish (Merry Place in Havertown) is the proud spot of stocked Brookies. Big ass ones too. An article was in the Daily News about their sizes. I suggest you make your way there.
I started stocked trout fishing this year for the first time. Never got a limit but they were all very yummy! Hopefully I can get a lightning next year
Incredible video! It's amazing to see your skill and technique at work as you sight fish for stocked Trout at Pennypack Creek. Once you figured out 'the pattern for the day,' it was game on! Your success in landing them one after another is truly impressive. Keep up the fantastic work! subscribed to your channel
I like a set up where I tie my line to a small, dark snap swivel leaving eight inches of tag line. I put a pre tied number 8 or 10 hook to the snap swivel. I put two, small split shot on the tag end that way if the snag I just pull it clear.
I think those chrowt where so skittish because they probably where ones that have been there since opening day. they’ve seen a lot of lures and bait over the past month!
My dad just bought a boat so ive been busy on it. 0 largemouth so far, but ive caught so many spotted, green sunfish, bluegill. I think Millerton lake is just spotted bass now, used to have smally large spotted striper, but all I get is spotted lately.... Im gana start trolling a 8-9inch white swimbait every time I go out, I just want to release a striper so I know they are still in there.
checked up looking for trout videos by you as i havent watched you in awhile and the latest video is on trout! what are the odds! LOVE THE TROUT CONTENT!!!
Does the water in the bucket not warm up when exposed to the sun ? This would oxygen starve the fish and the stress affects the flavor of the flesh . It is subtle, but a difference all the same.
Yes, it does. I don't mind that, though. I only do the bucket because I don't bring ice. As far as the flesh doesn't spoil, I am all good with it. I already ate a portion of those fish, so... it was good. LOL.
maybe they prefer live insects that vibrate on the same spot on top of the water. maybe the fast retrieve and the jighead threw them off as odd behavior.
Actually, I use the nomenclature from Fishbase.org. That's why it is a "Sea Trout." That's the correct accepted name of the Salmo trutta in its native range, since they do Sea runs over there.
@@extremephillyfishing I stand corrected lol I figured since your last video was beach fishing you had a typo , I’m from Florida so a sea trout to me is a totally different fish than the brown trout hahaThanks for the explanation brother!
“Actually that wouldn’t be a good analogy” funny how you stopped yourself Leo 😂 tight lines my dude !
I dig this dude I like his style of talkinggggggg and fishing

Never good when they just play with the tip of the powerbait

Wait, what if you painted your go pro white. Would it help with the overheating?
I believe so. I will search some ways of not letting it overheat, and get it done.
i love rock bass

❤❤❤
I still haven’t gone fishing this year 😩🤦♂️
maybe they prefer live insects that vibrate on the same spot on top of the water. maybe the fast retrieve and the jighead threw them off as odd behavior.
I'm just curious what is your biggest trout that you have caught between the rainbow, brook, cutthroat, brown and tiger trout?
In the range of 3 lbs, Jeffrey. It was a stocked Brown Trout _(Salmo trutta)_ from the Pennypack Creek many years ago.
Great video bro but you tube was throwing a crap load of advertisements
I do the automated ads from YT, so they place it for me. LOL.
Still waiting on the uncle Steve collaboration
My mans! How do you cast so far using such light tackle??🤔
Light line is way easier to cast. 2 or 4lb test
^^^ 🔥🔥🔥
Gotcha gotcha, thanks that! 😀
Common, Leo, do not cheat, be a sport fishing . No power bait, NO 😅😂
you eat trout? thought i remember something about purines and a medical condition. maybe i have it wrong.
Yes. Nowadays, I can eat it in moderation. 6 oz. per day.
As a fellow YTr.....I can say that everyone involved in gopro design and software dev are out of touch idiots. I'll die on this hill
It cost as much as a TRD Pro Tacoma
That first one wasn’t a sea trout! 😂 I’m just busting your b@lls Leo ,just a little typo , we know you said it was a brown trout
