Some of these are well known, but I still love it: * You can see space stations in orbit from the ground is incredible to me. Or the fact you can see stuff like the Hurston building from orbit. * Not currently in the game, but there was one thing I loved about old Loreville. Outside the walls of the city there were these shipping crates that clearly were converted into houses. Clearly the poor or outcasts of the city can't live inside the city. But as you go in, the apartments are nicer. But there's still this raw sewage pipe just dumping out its contents. And as you get closer and closer to the center, you see high rise buildings. Until you get to the Hurston where everything is covered in gold and marble. It's a stark contrast between the haves and have nots. Also that spotlight looking down at people at night, and the fact you can't buy weapons on the planet. There's a lot being said, that isn't being said. Storytelling through level design. I love that. * The weather being displayed on the terminals in the air taxis on Orison * The statue of the space whale is like this wind chime thing that makes whale sounds. * The guns (at least the ones I checked) have the rifling inside the barrel. * Your character will not put their finger on pistols, showing good trigger discipline. * The hand placement, animation, when using the weapons are still amazing when viewed in third person. Look up "Starfield fingers clip through every pistol" in Reddit to see yeah, the fingers clip through every single hand pistol in that game. Then contrast it with "Every Gun in Star Citizen" by Level Cap gaming. * No loading screens. The amount of work they had to put in to get no loading screens is insane. * There's no cheating between interior and exterior like other games. Being able to see your buddies inside the station buying burritos is incredible. * Not only can you fly down to planets without loading screens but your ships will fly differently too. * You can zoom in to get a layout of your actual ship or zoom out to see the solar system. * On Microtech your helmet will start to melt snow hitting your visor, and your helmet even fog up. Both which can easily be remedied by wiping the helmet. * Not only can you get a drink from the bar (when it works, lol) but drinking too much will have your character stumbling around drunk and with blurred vision. * Not only can you heal somebody, but you can mess them up by giving them by overdosing drugs. * Your character getting hurt will grab their side or start limping. Hmmmmm, most planets have the same properties. So for the fact that planets have a heated core may be due to the properties they added on Crusader. Since its a Gas planet, the deaper you go, the more pressure is on your ship as well as heated. This is a guess. Another reason is possibly they may eventually have caves that go so deep they get hot. For example, I believe in the new acid caves, the deeper you go, the colder it gets. Also the Acid Freezes you, it doesnt burn you. These are guesses but there are reasons CIG puts things in. Even if its not currently necessary at the moment.

But in a realistic way, not like transformers movies, where it just changes mass and such with some bullshit excuse nanobot shite. Star citizen is so compelling because it seem so plausible! That hydraulic piston doesn't just appear, it has a place to exist until it has to extend.
So yeah, another great one, really liked this! Excellent job!
@@nilsgerdes6747 aww dude there's nothing worse than that nanotech shite. Somebody at CIG knows whats up.
Yeah I don't know what happened with the scripts. I'm defo off on one 🤣
My favourite Detail is, that if you have a crimestat and fly up to a Station with guns and shields turned off, it will recognize your surrender

@@Reds_Resort atleast it worked in 3.17 i dont know if it still works with mastermodes
lol Nyce vid mayne. Time makes you forget to appreciate all the little details, so this is a good reminder.
Side note, those 1 SCU crates cost 2100 credits to buy & the 2 SCU are 4100. Are you somehow keeping them after the transaction or are you just eating the cost to replace em?
@@DigThat32 Thanks dude. When I made the vid they were 1 and 2 thousand....if that's changed then yeah that's going to put a big dent in the whole idea cos you do loose the crates.
Edit.....ahh shit. I think I done fucked up.
Just under 8 minutes in and someone has renamed their reclaimer to Lady Demetrescu.

We need more people like Red on Spectrum - appreciating the good bits of SC, rather than complaining about the bad! Also, the ‘interiors’ are actually 2D! It’s a very clever shader trick!!
@@3dVisualist totally fooled me ngl.
Glad I could do my part to keep things positive where possible. o7
You can still unlock two badges with Hyper Vanguard Force (15:00).
The regular one can be done when going through the game (Predator). The other (Apex Predator) requires one to go through the game on extreme difficulty (Hyper Pink). That is... quite the obstacle, but it can be done.
Ahh nice.
You've made some original content in SC topic. Respect.
This is so good.
@@jbirdmax Jbirdmax..... my G. Glad you could make it. Appreciate your time dude.
@@anthonygordon9483 makes sense. Good theory. Thank you for watching dude.
11:58 a comment about lighting. They do a great job with blasic global illumination so I really want to see the RTGI ray traced lighting CIG are working on. No one will be able to run it because it'll chug along at 15fps on a 5090Ti Super, but it'll look spectacular.
@@CBadger yeah you basically just summed up all the hopes and fears in 1 message. I can't wait to not be able to run that also. XD

Ohhhhhhh I did not expect that. You've gotten clever, I have definitely rubbed off on you. Samar/Nomad aka Cutty or Gladius will be stoked to have his own Easter egg in the game. I will let him watch it when he gets back from school.
And this video- clever, very relaxed talk. Yes, good idea, grow big... bigger and then ill drag you to my livestreams.. muahahaha evil genius plan.
1st time I've put my face on screen and here you are saying you've rubbed off on me...... It's to be expected I suppose. 😂😂
@@Reds_Resort I literally didn't want to talk about that thinking you will hate me making a big deal of that... so I just wanted to let it slide in making you think.. "huh.. he didn't even comment about me showing up in the video.. maybe its not a big deal, maybe i should do it more often"- See how my mind works? lol Let Steve out you creep!!
Takk!
@@architctator omg thanks alot.
The only detail that would really blow my mind is if this fckn game would work properly for a change. It's a constang fight with bugs.
This video was great 👍.
When I won't why I play this game. I do what your video shows to remind me. There is no other game like this... Nothing comes close. Makes you care less about the bugs😅
One of the things I keep pestering CIG for is a flight mode slower than quantum the lets us just cruise by looking at the beauty of space just like they did in their demo. No movement yet but I'm not giving up

Oh, I totally get the getting closer to the core is hotter. Preferably with a nice simple function. Take a terrestial planet. Walk around somewhere around 20 degrees. Start climbing mountains and the temperature starts to drop. Just take the temperature as a function of altitude and take altitude as a function of distance from the core. Easy.
Sets the stage for possibly fragmented planets and stuff as well. Could be some cool stuff down the road.
Dude, I thought I spent too much time in this game, but you take it to a whole new level. My advice is get Steven to tie a rope around your ankle and after a safe predetermined time he can yank you back out. Like the game itself your videos are at a whole new level. Nice one👍
@@oyeebo I've seen me logging in for 3 hours and not making it out of Green Circle dude. 😂😂 Poking around in bushes looking for anomalies. Defo something wrong with me. Much love dude
