Stuff - That's The Way Of The World Count Down To 1977 Live at The Bottom Line N.Y. Richard Tee, Gordon Edwards, Eric Glae, Cornel Dupree, Steve Gadd, Christpher Parker,
C'est magnifique !!!!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🇫🇷🎆😘!!!!!! Une bouffée d'air frais !!!!! On respire et on se sent bien !!!!! C'est magique !!!!!! Merci pour se moment !!!!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖😘😃
+Murphy Murphy They ARE 5 or the best session men of the 70's etc! The only problem is that collectively they are a big schnoor. The Stones on the other hand could be argued are the worst 5 musicians, though together when they click we sit up and take notice.
+Murphy Murphy Never was much into lounge jazz as it was a bit soulless however impeccably played. My drum teacher at the time Norman Grossman who knew these guys told them as much and Gadd laughed and agreed. I always went in for more a band feel. I mean I love the studio guys when they accompany great song writers as on Garland Jeffrey's Ghost Rider where I first saw the name of Steve Gadd and Rick Marotta, etc. Steely Dan made VERY good use of them on Aja and Gaucho, but an album by and for studio hacks is like letting Mexicans take over a non-Mexican restaurant, it becomes something completely different, like Mexican. Listen to Tumbling Dice how Charlie Watts comes in what seems a bit too early on the downbeat left-side cymbal crash, Gadd, in a million years could nor would ever think of that, or how of I'm Free, Watts' snare backbeat is WAY late. Warts 'n' all. BTW, Gadd's favorite drummer is John Bonham. Fo Shizzle, Murph!
Listen to Gordon Edwards playing bass...its beautiful.
This make me sad in the most amazing way. I jam to this on guitar weekly, thank you.

GREAT!!!!! Just like I remember it!!!!
stuff-super music!!!

THANK YOU for posting this!

Thank you for the post !
+Philippe Kadouri They're in the "where are they now file" minus the embalming fluid.

With Ashford & Simpson
Eric GALE, not Glae :/ :/
...and Gordon Edwards - Bass ... not Base :-)
Yea Gadd, but the bass player is smokin!
Mr Gordon Edwards.
High priced cocktail crap. A Holiday Inn band paying off their college tuition. Everything they play sounds like Barney Miller theme.
Sorry Bud. In this particular case you are full of shit. These are 5 of the best session players of 70's, 80's and 90's. Look it up.

+Steven Carinci I saw them together at Mickal's on the Upper West side back in the 70's and it was possibly the best club show I saw in that era.
