Just before the first 'Stuff' album came out, most of the group backed up Joe Cocker on his famous appearance on Saturday Night where John Belushi sang with him while parodying him. Cocker & Belushi had on Stuff t-shirts in support of the band. I think I remember Stuff performing this song on that episode.
Wow.... So tight.... ........ when you hop on stage litterly minutes after a long flight & THIS is what happens!! Steve Gladd & Gordon Edward's enough said!
Stuff like this don't exist no more, sure there is great talent out there, but this school, this feel, just everything about it, it ain't about livin in the past or exessive nostalgia, its old school to the deepest core of cores, and there just ain't nuthin like it...Never will be...i was Fortunate and blessed enough to play with this caliber of fellas🙏🏼❤
Great band. Just learned Fred Neil has a complete, unreleased album from 1978 with these guys as the backing band. Wow. Someone needs to unload that one.
Great groove indeed! This is the real stuff! By the way: what a weird camera work from 03:00 onwards, during the guitar solo focussing constantly on the rhythm guitar. Absolutely clueless, that guy.
All these years, and I JUST discovered these guys - INSTANT CONVERT!
Steve Gadd is SUCH a great drummer!
One the best! I always remember him from playing with clapton.... had no idea of these days and playing with some best musicians ever!
The coolest man too it seems :)
Love how fast Eric gale tunes his guitar in between playing.
the true sign of a master
Edward and Gadd,,,,keeping the "pocket" solid for everyone else. I miss this style of music
What a tight sound - timeless!
Eric Gale…legend for the Barney Miller theme guitar solo
Whoa. New to me but hell yes to this.
Stuff is a awesome underrated masterpiece of a band! All maestros.
OMG what relaxed funk.
Who needs click and in-ear when Steve Gadd is in the house

Drummer Chris Parker was also a member of Stuff, but he wasn't in this video. He's still living (as of November 2022).

There is few tribute bands to stuff... mostly Japanese because the band was huge there and greatly appreciated by the Japanese people.
Oh yeah
Vulfpeck, snarky puppy?
my god.....great quality video of an absolutely epic AF musical moment in history....
Great band. Just learned Fred Neil has a complete, unreleased album from 1978 with these guys as the backing band. Wow. Someone needs to unload that one.
Really eh? That would be fantastic. Cheers
I wonder if that’s part of Paul Simon’s impetus for pairing his folky Jonah Levin character with much of this band in his film “One-Trick Pony.”
Great groove indeed! This is the real stuff!

Great funking groove! Luv this band :)
Great job the cameraman couldn’t figure out who was playing lead or rhythm in the beginning
Just like the listeners.
