I absolutely agree. Pete is brilliant on stage and with his writing. No one can sing like Roger. His swirling Mic. His defiant marching. Keith's crazy drum style -- extremely complex rhythms. And John, with his HUGE, custom bass, and gigantic speakers that crush the eardrums. I saw them live at Winterland, and my mind and ears were blown.

Roger is very polite and the interviewers just unknowledgeable . The fact is that the album "The Who Sell Out" is arguably the first 'concept' album (before Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band) and therefore was a departure from the '2--3 minute singles' approach . This was prior to "Tommy".

I saw The Who in 1976 at the old Miami Baseball Stadium. Laser lights were a new thing then and they really put on an awesome show, opened with "My Wife", closed with "Won't get fooled again".
