What makes Chris Hemsworth so perfect as Thor is his seamless ability to go back and forth between being very funny and heartbreaking, which was especially the case in the Kenneth Branagh movie and Endgame.
@@RyanFloom it’s not even about him being funny; the first two films were poorly written and weak. he wasn’t even the star of his own series, we all loved Loki lol. he could’ve maintained the same personality if the storylines were better and the supporting characters were better developed.

If you weight a healthy 200 ibs Adding 5-15 pounds of pure muscle will make you look massive. Not everyone is on steroids.

I think that Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston were nobodies when the MCU was looking for Loki and Thor and they hired the two most perfect men. Him playing James Hunt in Rush is impeccable. My favourite portrayal of his, second being as Owen Chase in Into The Heart of the Sea. I recommend everyone reading this to watch them, you'll love it!

Cabin in the Woods was a pretty classic movie and I might argue it was more iconic than any of these save Thor. But I get why they wouldn't say it was one of his most iconic characters. He had a significant role but he wasn't exactly the lead. I'd be keen to hear what he has to say about doing a horror film though.
Just watched spiderhead... Absolutely fantastic movie, really show cased how good an actor he is, when the chemicals start malfunctioning and he has to constantly changing and mixing emotions and feelings and he absolutely nailed it, great watch, glad people are still making good movies.

How about Cabin In The Woods? Perfect Getaway? 12 Strong? Extraction? All of those movies are more appealing than most of the selection you chose, GQ-especially Ghostbuster, yuck.

Now, Waititi doesn’t decide what comes next at Marvel, so he can only speak for his own movie. The point however, is that Love and Thunder is not set up that way. additionally Hemsworth who plays Thor, has always said he’s happy to play Thor until he’s no longer wanted by the fans or the Studio. Speaking with Total Film Magazine recently and covered by their sister outlet Games Radar. Waititi talked about his point of view and for him, this is not a passing of the torch.
Chris explaining that the lines for his character in Ghostbusters 2016 were improvised due to them not even having a script definitely explains a lot about that film tbh.
A real shame that "Bad Times at the El Royale" was not covered, it remains one of underrecognized masterpieces I recommend to people, especially for the moral message near very end

While love and thunder was absolute garbage he will forever be Thor and I look forward to continue seeing him again in the role. Having said that, seeing him in other roles is equally fun, hes a very likable actor. Would recommend watching him in Limitless as well, very interesting documentary
