I could have watched this for hours. He was so patient, thoughtful and elegant with each answer. Seeing him talk about his family and learning about his tattoos of his daughter’s drawings, was so sweet too!
He’s one of the those unfair creations of Mother Earth: funny, charming, down to earth and with looks that make most of us men seem darn ugly. He appears to be a top lad, very enjoyable as Thor

I cant imagine Thor being anybody else besides him at this point, so its interesting to hear that he failed the audition until they wanted an older version of his brother. Im curious who the other contenders were because like I said at this point he is Thor in my opinion
Tom Hiddleston auditioned to play Thor. Producers and casting directors thought he’d fit more as Loki and that’s how he got the role.
I've even seen interviews with people working on TTDW and TLT that agree that Chris Hemsworth was basically born to be Thor
He signed a 6 picture deal when he signed up for Thor. Goes to show how much confidence Marvel had with the future of the MCU in the early days.

I'm guessing there's lots of movies that ended up being one-offs but the studio had contracts with the actors to show up for more movies... that never ended up being made.
*So* thankful he gave extensive, thoughtful answers instead of being flippant. He seems like a genuinely nice man. I hope he gets to surf those waves and have some re-centering time.

The story behind how he became Thor is pretty interesting. So basically Thor being played by a Hemsworth was inevitable.

I think that with a lot of these interviews, they have a whole schedule set up for the rest of the day with countless interviews, they're basically given like a set time limit and you have to answer everything in that time frame, so they rush through it.
Here it might have been the end of the day or something.

That was probably the most thoughtful and relaxing video of a celebrity answering those questions. Most just run through them at lightening speed as if they can't wait to get it over and done with. Chris was patient and elaborated more on the answers than anyone I've seen. Such a cool and chill dude who seems to take life as it comes to him without sweating the small stuff.

I actually like that he's taking time with his answers, instead of just giving rushed replies like most celebrities who've done these interviews. Chris seems like a very chill, level-headed guy. Not something you see too often in Hollywood these days.

He was so good in Spiderhead. He played a character that you hate so much because his personality is just very arrogant, but he’s so funny and charismatic that you still love seeing him on screen. So cool.

He is truly so lovely in person. I remember meeting him back in 2019. He was doing press tour for endgame in London. I met him and Paul Rudd. I was so emotional meeting Chris, because waited so long. I was in tears and Chris wasn’t even phased by it. He pulled me in for a hug and rubbed my back saying “it’s alright sweetheart, I don’t bite”. We laughed about it afterwards and Paul Rudd was like “yeah whatever”. Then he also laughed. Chris gives really good hugs though and he smells good and genuine guy. He’s funny too.

I appreciate how he answered every single question in depth. He didn't just breeze through them all. One of the few actors who gave their honest answers and he didn't say his wife is his favorite actress(we know he loves her). He didn't try to be political in his answers he was just Chris and that's why we love him. Am looking forward to his new Netflix movie. Seeing him in different roles/characters, sound very interesting.

I love how open-minded he is. He could have judged/joked when astrology and his zodiac sign was brought up but instead he seemed to be open to the idea of learning more about it even when he shared that he didn't really understand it.
I've seen other interviews of him and he seems to not judge things too quickly in general.
this was my takeaway, too. like part of what makes him such a nice guy is he's just open-minded about stuff he doesn't know about. he's chill and admits he doesn't know all but is willing to listen. fantastic qualities in my book.

He is such a genuinely likeable guy. Intelligent and well thought out answers. He also did not just crack jokes and make fun of the interview constantly like some people do. He is a really gorgeous person, inside and out.

Because of Thor (and the rest of the Marvel Universe) I’ve gotten close with my nieces and nephews, and we enjoy fawning over the movies. Wonderful to see Chris relaxed and open to all his fans.
